It came full circle! Los Angeles nista has been car free since November 2012. And now we facilitate an interview with an mta spokesman. The second half of the episode is a wonderful gateway to the history of Chicano art and one who was a part of a collective called los 4, in Judithe Hernandez! In the conversation Jose Ubaldo reveals information about the subway to the sea and it’s last stop which is located by Sears in santa Monica. Ironically Judithe Hernandez is commissioned by the mta to provide her art work this station. Set to open in 2016!

A great episode!  Talking about the history of Whittier and its new independent business, Lighted Path Studios!  In this episode we hear the music that’s currently coming out of Lighted Path Studios from groups like Ecos and Drone.  We dabble and share experiences with one another from the 1987 earthquake and talk about how uptown Whittier is still the mecca of the city.

Joe Mora rules! He works hard as a tech for artists such as Trey Songs, Weezer, and Band Of Horses. He also spends a good portion of his time as the bassist/vocalist in the band, House Of Broken Promises! Joe also has his hand in his parents shop, Pedrinis Music in La Crescenta, CA.
