He’s nasty, he’s offensive, he kicks fuckin’ ass, goddammit!! On this episode our friend, L.A.’s own legendary punk rock bluesman, LIGHTNIN’ WOODCOCK returns to the MMRP with a couple new tracks for your dome including one for the holiday season. It’s always a good time when our good pal Lightin’ is hanging out. We catch up with our comrade and talk about his new singles, “Jesus Help Me” and the soon-to-be holiday hit, “Xmas Gives Me The Goddamn Blues” which will be on Lightnin’s new album on Suicide King Records coming out in early 2013, and that prompts a call from Ian– owner of Suicide King and bassist of the L.A. band White Flag Down– to talk about the record and how excited he is about the record and he also tells us about having a threesome with two “big” girls and what that was like. As usual we gots lots of kickass tunes in this episode including the new singles from Lightnin’ Woodcock AND as a bonus treat we are treated to a couple songs performed live in studio by the filthy mother fucker himself!! And as a cherry on top of this delicious treat– Vince calls former drummer of The Mormons and former MMRP co-host, Dan, to say hello, and Vince gets an unexpected response leaving things weird and uncomfortable in an authentic ‘what-the-fuck-just-happened’ moment.
