We got it cracking. This is Indie Face Radio. I'm going to tell y'all right now, it's going to be a power-packed show. I'm going to give y'all the number right now to call in. Y'all need to get it in right now. 1-800-893-9562. Once again, 1-800-893-9562. Corn is on his way, but until then, let's talk about a few things. Let's talk about a few things. One of the things I want to talk about is next month, I think it's June 15th, the ESPYs. The ESPY Awards is coming to Los Angeles, and they do it up big. You know, next week we got the BET Awards. We always have the Grammys. A lot of other award shows, but the ESPYs, the best in all sports coming June 5th. July 15th. July 15th. I'm going to get it right. ESPN, I'm sorry. July 15th. And, you know, I'm going to get it right. And, you know, I'm going to get it right. And, you know, I'm going to get it right. And their parties are a little different because they go over the top. They get the Hennessys and the Patrons and the Sirocs and all those cats that throw those exclusive, exclusive parties. You know, them parties where you get Serena and Mayweather and all them cats up in there just hobnobbing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Them type of events, you know. So the ESPYs next month, July 15th, right here in Los Angeles. Y'all need to try to get these. These tickets right now. Because I heard this year, they finna go all out. They about to go all out, man. One thing I want to talk about is we just finished up Back to Basics 2 in San Diego. That convention was off the chain, man. June 4th through the 7th, we had a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time. My nephew, Charles Z, you know, manager extraordinaire, he rode with me. You know, I got a chance to introduce him to a lot of heavy hitters in the game, you know. He had a couple of artists that he was introducing and I know he enjoyed it. He enjoyed himself. If you missed it this year, I don't know what to tell you. But if you serious about your business, the Urban Network Convention is where you need to be. You know, it was a wonderful time, man. Shouts out to David Mitchell and Arthur Mitchell. They put on a hell of a show. We still getting hit up from our connection with Music Connection Magazine. Mark Nardone is hitting us up, man. He's sitting a blast out every week, man, letting people know. Let them know that, hey, if you're an indie artist, you need to contact Indie Phase Radio. And they've been hitting me up, man. They've been hitting me up. Some of this music sound crazy, but I have to listen to it because I've been finding some gems. I've been finding some gems, man. It's really nice. Now, the last thing I want to talk about before we go into the break and before Corn Deasy slide in here, I know he down there. He should be down there right now parking, is Amalgamation Magazine. Amalgamation has now changed. They're not amalgamation anymore. They're called Music Industry Quarterly. David Mitchell still runs that. If you want to know anything about it, go to UrbanNetworkDigital.com and find out about this. It's a new magazine, but it's still the same one as before. This is what it looks like right here. And you know they still do the double cover. Kabam! Music Industry Quarterly. You know, so David, he's still doing his thing, man. You know, I love it. Still the same quality. He still got all the info. If you an artist trying to get it right up in there, if you a label trying to get some ads for your artist, you need to hit that brother up, man. David Mitchell. Music Industry Quarterly. Now, Corn Deasy on his way up. We're going to start this thing proper, but I had to go and start the show because, hey, man, time is a ticking. Time is a ticking. This is IndieFacebook. This is Radio. This is your boy, Terrible T. On the other side of this break, man, hopefully my man, Corn Deasy, will be up because he passed up the studio. 1-800-893-9562. 1-800-893-9562. We have Cousin Cree. She's going to be calling in. And she's going to be telling y'all about some of these hot topics. We got Carrie Davis going to be calling in. And realtor, entrepreneur extraordinaire, Mr. Dante Walker going to come in. So, 1-800-893-9562. Again, 1-800-893-9562. This is IndieFace ready. This is your boy, Terrible T. We doing big things. It brings you the kind of protection that bodyguards can't give you. Try to be all you can be to be the best human being you can be. Try to be that in your church, in your temple. Try to be that in your church, in your classroom. Do it because it is right to do. You see, people will know you. And they will add their prayers to your life. They'll wish you well. I think if your name is mentioned and people say, oh, hell, oh, damn. I think you're doing something wrong. But if your name is mentioned and people say, oh, she's so sweet. He's so nice. Oh, I love. Oh. God bless her. There you are. So try to live your life in a way that you will not regret years of useless virtue and inertia and timidity. Take up the battle. Take it up. It's yours. This is your life. This is your world. I'll be leaving it long before you under the ordinary set of circumstances. You make your own choices. You can decide life isn't worth living. And that would be the worst thing you can do. How do you know? So far. Try it. See. So pick it up. Pick up the battle and make it a better world. Just where you are. Yes. And it can be better. And it must be better. But it is up to us. It's up to us. It's up to us. You Can I get hot when you hit the jackpot? It's that lack of sleep right now. Oh, yeah, yeah. I got the child. Dude got it. And he keeps me up, man. 30 jobs. He keeps me up. And yeah, 30 jobs. Every time I call you, you either coming from a job or going to a job. That's 24-7. Hey, man. Hey, got an extra mouth to feed. Got to do it. So, hey, man. Well, we got to welcome the folks. I mean, I know you already welcomed them, but I mean, hey. I welcomed them. I welcomed them. Let's welcome them again. Hey, welcome again. Welcome to Indie Face Radio Show. Home for all things. All things are independent here. Oh, dang. You know what I'm saying? So, we're not just restricted to music, you know, independent artists. Oh, hell no. I'm talking about artists. I'm talking about artists. I'm talking about artists. I'm talking about artists. I'm talking about artists. I'm talking about artists. I'm talking about artists. I'm talking about artists who are independent. I'm talking about actors who are independent, kind of doing their own thing. I'm talking about poets doing their own thing, book writers, you know, anything that you do independently. Yo, we want you on this show, because this show is for you, the people. This is a people show. This is a people show. For the people. For the people. It's going easy, you know? Yeah, man. You're the six three Gemini. Oh, I forgot to introduce you to who I am. I'm so, you know, so involved and excited about the show. I forgot to say who I am. And that's what this show is about. It ain't about us. Who you be? It's about the people. I be Mr. Corndeezy the 6'3 Gemini doing it like I'm doing it for TV. Holla at your boy. Yeah, yeah, man. He slid up on in here, man. Yeah, man. Hey, man, I was just telling the folks, man. Good to be back, man. Good to be back. Right off the rip, Obama's in town. Obama has landed. L-A-X. Is that freeway and streets messed up? Oh, yeah. Oh, God have mercy. And not only Obama's in town, the horse is in town. The one who did the Triple Crown. Oh, yeah. That cat. Yeah, he's in the valley. That cat. So, you know, he has to have his, you know, his police escorts and all that kind of good stuff, too. So, yeah. I saw a documentary two weeks ago on this cat. Hey, man, first of all, it's a nice story. Yeah, yeah. This dude won the Triple Crown. The Triple Crown. They say that horse is worth about $30 million. Yeah, yeah. Because, you know, now he can just retire. You know, before he was out there practicing and not practice. But he has his own handlers, everybody. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But he's going to live the life now because all he's got to do is breed. Yeah, he's got to do a breed. He's in the stud category where I don't have to race no more. I'm just going to breed. And whatever I put out there, it's going to be, you know, a good horse like me. I want to tell people, you know, we had it. I want to get to that level when I could just not do anything but make babies and, yeah. Well, you are breeding. Now you're doing babies. I'll tell you right now. We started off with an inspirational video from Maya Angelou. Maya Angelou. That's right. That's right. Just do right, man. Just do right. Just do right. Just do right. As simple as that is, people don't follow that anymore. Yeah, man. You know, because I was just on a freeway just a little while ago. This cat cut me off. See, and if I would have heard that, I would have just been like, hey, just do right. Just do right. At least put your signal on and let me know you're coming on. Yeah. But yeah, it's the simple things, man. We're just trying to make the world a better place. What's up? Prince. Prince. You know, we do. Oh, yeah, man. We do a picture. Let me show you the picture of Prince. And his daddy. That's my man. And his daddy. What's up, Prince? Hey, so when I left the house. They cold chilling. Yeah, when I left the house, he just woke up. Woke up in a good mood. But yeah, man. It's amazing, man. Fatherhood is amazing. Parenthood is amazing. I don't know if I'm supposed to let the cat out the bag. I mean, you telling me to shut up if I'm supposed to. You know, you tell me something I can't keep. You can't keep it. I know you can't. Oh, well, you know what? Yeah, we can go ahead and say it. Just can't say the name of the agent. Okay. Okay. So little Prince got an agent. Got an agent. Yes, he did. He did. He did. He did. He did. He's about to do movies and commercials and all that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Look, how old is Prince? Prince is nine months. Just turned nine months. And he got an agent. He's about to be working. And your boy is definitely a 50. And still. You know what I'm saying? Come on, man. We're going to have to live through Prince now, man. I'm telling you. So this work permit, he just got it okayed today. It's one of the top 10 kid agencies. If you Google and you say top 10 agencies, boom, it's one of the agencies. So, yeah, we're excited about that. We're blessed about that. So, you know, looking forward to see, you know, what doors open from that, man. And if no doors open on it, that means that's not what it's supposed to do. So, hey, you know what? We're just rolling with it. You know, we ain't going to be one of those Joe Jackson types. Well, not right now. You know, wait until the money start coming in. We may be. But, you know, we're just going to let it flow, man. Because, I mean, you just got to give kids exposure to something so they'll have a passion for something. So, you know, we're just going to throw whatever out there and see what sticks on the wall. You know what I'm saying? Maybe a baller. Maybe, you know, hey. Yeah. Have a choice. I want to say something. A couple of days ago, a friend of our show, Young Slab. Young Slab. It dropped. Big Slab. It dropped. That's what I'm talking about. Definitely a friend of the show. Yeah. God's gift. God's gift. I like that, man. You can pick this up right now. That's hot. That's hot. In Walmart, Target. Oh. Oh. Oh, yeah. Amazon, iTunes, Spotify. Yes, sir. You can't miss Young Slab. He's supposed to be down there for the BET Awards, which is next week. Big shout out to Young Slab. Cool cat, too, man. Real cool cat. God's gift. God's gift. God's gift. God's gift. He had his album release party in Dallas, and I heard it was off the chain. Oh, I know it was off the chain, man. Heard it was off the chain. Hey, man. It was cool when Round Man, Young Slab, you know, they all came through, man. And, you know, I ain't going to forget. Hey, Ty, you missed out. I've got to give a big shout out to our engineer. Oh, yeah. She was doing her thing. Yeah. She always does her thing. We had no camera that's slid on over there. No, I'm warning you. Yeah. We got no camera slid over there. That's it. There you go. There you go. There you are. She's camera shy right now. We're going to get her on, though. And you know what, though? And I love her so much that whatever day she available, that's when I'm doing it. That's when you're doing it. Yeah, yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Well, you know what? He keeps us straight. And on point, no doubt. The time that you took us out after the show when Young Slab was out here and the whole crew was out here, and Ty, he took us out and sponsored and paid for dinner. Yeah, he paid for dinner. So you missed it. You should have came. You should have came. You should have came. You should have came. You should have came. You should have came. You should have came. You should have came. Yeah, but I think we're going to do it. Round Man's here next week for the BET Awards. Okay, that's what's up, man. Round Man, if you got your ears on, call doing the second half hour of the show, man. Call then. Do a second half hour of the show. Round Man, I always definitely am representing, man. And I like to follow him on Facebook because he'll post some music up or he'll say what he's doing, post some old school pictures of old equipment or something. You know what I'm saying? Right, right, right. But you can just tell his passion and love for music. And it goes way back and it goes deep. So we celebrated one year, man. Yeah. One year on the air. One year. One year, man. It's been a hell of a year, man. It's been a fast year too, man. Yeah, man. It's been very, very fast. One thing that I want to, I want to let all the people who's tuned in to the show and used to our format, there's a slight change and you're going to see it on this show. We changing up? What? We changing up like the Clipper logo? Oh, Lord. Speaking of changing up. Oh, yeah. I got to represent the Clippers. I mean, you know, I know we choked. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Look at this. New, new, new, new. All right. Check this out. So you got the LA and it's surrounded by the sea. So we're proud about this. We embracing Los Angeles and then they flipped it up. Different little font. You know what I'm saying? And then they said they want to add the black in there because, you know, all the stuff that went on with Sterling, you know, so they want to incorporate the black. So, you know, we welcome everybody inside. So, yeah. But I mean, it's exciting time. They went out to different locations in Los Angeles. gave out like thousands and thousands of t-shirts just to kind of get the new gear out there. Yeah, I got you, I got you. Me personally, got to grow on me, got to grow on me. Definitely like the old school Los Angeles Clippers shirt, you know, with the cursive writing. So, you know, hey, hey. And I'm a man, I'm man enough to say, okay, we did choke, we choked this year, but we're going to be back next year. Hey. We're going to be back next year. All I got to say is, is I love what they was doing. People keep calling them the Clippers. I call them the Clippers Shepherds. Oh, see, there you go. And your team, Lakers, what round did they go out in? Man, what different round? Oh, they didn't go? Next time you go to the Clippers game, look up. Just look up, just look up. Oh, I ain't going to look up. See how many batters. I ain't going to look up. See, don't get me wrong, don't get me wrong. I'm a Laker fan too, man. But you know, it's because root, root, root for your home team. We got two home teams here. So, speaking of change, so it's been a change. Oh, yeah, he's on the team. Let me take you to the team. Let me take you to the team. Starting this show, you know that we normally play a film trailer for Morgantown Studios. Yes, we do. We're not doing it anymore. Okay, okay. That run is over. Okay, but definitely want to give them a shout out for their involvement. Matter of fact, we went through all of their film trailers. Nice, nice, nice. And they had some few changes over there. But that wasn't the reason, the main reason why we decided not to go with Morgantown anymore. Uh-huh. We decided to go with a brand new company. All right. Change. Yes, yes, yes. Change. We don't have it in the show, but we have it in the next show. Yeah, change, yes, yes. And it's spearheaded by Brett Dismuke as well. Oh, the homie. What's up, man? He's head of a brand new distribution company called Swirl Group. That boy's staying getting a job. Swirl Group. Jeez. Oh, man. And they already got like 70 movies in the can. He just, he came into this situation. So, Brett was like, you know, and it was only fair because he brought us into Morgantown. Right, right, right. So, when he started his new situation. We love it. I was like. Hey, man, I'm rolling with you. We loyal. Yeah, we loyal. I mean, I don't even know them folks over there in Morgantown. We cats are loyal. When you left, I left. Yeah. That's how it's supposed to be, man. But it just so happened that. Loyalty is big, man. We show on all their trailers. So, now starting next show, we're rolling with the Swirl Group and Brett Dismuke. There you go. Yeah, he's the president. He's the president over there. Back in the house. President. Yeah, yeah. Nice. And then we're going to get him on the show. We got to go to the club with him. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, we be at the bar. Hey, we got the president. We got the president. You know, that goes a long way, man. Official clothing sponsor, Oak Bay Fitz. Oak Bay. You ain't rocking Oak Bay? Man, mine was dirty. I had just moved mine not too long ago. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They told me to get me some. I'm waiting for the new stuff. I want to rock the new stuff, man. Come on, Oak Bay. We want to rock. We want to rock. We want to rock with you, man. So, yeah, holler at us, man. Get back. Yeah, for sure. Hey, so we still got Cousin Creech going to be calling in any minute. Yeah, her crazy. So, let's go. Hey, man, let me tell you. Yeah, go ahead. Okay, so when I watch those videos, man, I'm like, man, what's she going to say next? Because you never know what she's going to say next. You never know. You never know. You know what? That's what I like about, you know, just like the realness that she gives off. You know what I'm saying? Because you never know. She keeps it 100, and I just love it, man. She puts a smile on my face every time I see one of her videos. Yes, sir. Thank you. We appreciate you. We're going to go to a break, but let's get. I think we got Young Slap on the line from Arkansas. Album just dropped. Young Slap, is this you, boy? Oh, we got him on the line. Hey, hey, hey. Slap. Slap, is this you? The one and only. Boy, let me tell you. How you doing, man? You doing good? How you living? Living good right now. The album just came out Monday. Hey, tell me. Hey. Hey, Slap, they tell me they can find you in Walmarts and Target and all that. Everything, man. We try to go worldwide with this thing. That's what I'm talking about, man. Get you some jeans and the God's gift album. That's right. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. You know what I'm saying? You got to get God's gift. That's a must have. It's a classic. Now, how many tracks you got on there? There's 12 on there. 12 on there? What made you decide with 12? Because I know you got some heat stored away in the- Yeah, I still got some in the archives. In the archives. These 12 right here. Yeah, these 12 right here meant a lot to me, man. I put more time and effort into it, so I just wanted to get aware of my life because I never went down that road before. You know what I'm saying? Okay. That's what's up, man. So, I mean, what's the feel on this album? I mean, you know what I'm saying? Are we going to get reality? Are we going to get a little fantasy? Are we going to get a little crunk? Are we going to get a little turn up? What are we getting on this, man? What are we getting on this? You going to get reality on this one and some motivation. You're not going to have to step out the trap for a minute. Well, you know- Okay. Well, first of all, I want to remind people that- I appreciate that. I want to remind people that we already did No Turning Back and Akalaka. Akalaka. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, man. So, Akalaka. What's behind that one? Akalaka. Akalaka. Damn, fool. Yeah. Akalaka. Damn, fool. That was good. It's just like when you first get that big check or whatever and you don't know how to spend it because me coming from the hood, we ain't never had too much. Right. You know how it is. Just me being in the limelight make me feel good. Yeah. Now, you know what? Recently, I saw a picture. I think you performed. Was that at the listening party? Because I saw a picture of you on stage. That was a listening party in Dallas. Okay. Yeah, that was in Dallas. All right. So, y'all just invited out special friends, industry folks, or was it open to the public? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Matter of fact, a friend of John Legend's manager was up in there and, you know, was mostly out of my day one fans and stuff like this. So, we had another, it was a few industry people in there. Yeah. Hey, man. Doing your thing. Well, hey, man. Snap. We've been pushing the album. We are pressing for time, but I definitely want to let people know that they can pick this album up. If anybody wanted to collab with you or just pick up the album or get some of your gear, how can they? Hey, contact Slab, man. You can hit me up at housemusic at gmail.com. Okay. I watched the first two Jurassic parks. I think the third one, I think I skipped. So this is the fourth one, if I'm not mistaken. And for some reason, it did spark my interest. A little, little, little something. So I'm definitely going to go check that out. But I ain't had no time. So if you've checked it out, you know, tell us what you think. You know, on a scale of 1 to 10, what you think it is. That's 1-800-893-9562. Now, I tell you what. I think we got Cousin Cresha on the line. Uh-oh. We got Cousin Cresha on the line. I think so. Cousin Cresha. I'm a little nervous, I'll be honest. Are you on the line? Are you on the line? Because you never know what she's going to say. Hey, family. Cousin Cresha. Cousin Cresha. Cousin Cresha from the Dark Action Monthly News. Bringing to you live on Indie Face Radio podcast show, Corn Tide. What's up, dude? What's up? Well, we got Obama in town. He had jacked up all the freeways. Yeah, got us a lot. Y'all ain't going nowhere. You ain't doing nothing today. I know, that's right. Now, Cousin Cresha, you out there in Dallas, in Texas, where are you? You out there with the Rams? She's in the Bay Area. She's in the Bay Area. Oh, yeah, you in the Bay Area. You're risen from up there. She's up there with them Golden State. She's up there with the Warriors. I'm in the city by the bay. San Francisco is what I do. That's what I do. So your team just won a little championship. Yeah, them Golden State Warriors. Come out and play. That's right. That's right. The Bay Area. Now, Cousin Cresha. No, no. Well, let me, because I didn't congratulate you or nothing. Happy one-year anniversary. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Indie Face Radio. That's right. We're doing our thing. We're doing our thing. We're trying to do it. We're trying to do it. And we're just getting started. It's the early show. So, Cousin. How y'all doing? How y'all doing? How's that feeling? One year under your belt. How's that feeling? You know what? Once you get through that first year, you know, we in cruise control now. We ready to, you know, just take the world by storm now. You know, once we get past that one year mark, we good. Yeah, the crazy thing is, you know, me and Cone was part of another situation for a couple of years. So, we have done this before. But what I like that what we're doing now is this is a podcast. Yeah. So, you get a chance to see us. You get a chance. We get a chance to play videos. It's a thing in here. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you know, some people probably don't want to see us. But, you know, we're going to put ourselves out there anyway. Hey, Christian. You ain't got no choice. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. I know for a fact. I know for a fact that if I throw some topics at you, some, you know, some hot things that's going on in the news, you got an opinion. Hit me. Hit. Hit. Let's hit. Let's hit. Oh, but we got to pause. We got to wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. We got to see if she's on her phone with the foil on it. You got good reception? You got good reception. That's what I need to know. Boy, you. That's what you do. Boy, you buddy. You about to get some cake. You about to get some cake. Now, that line. That line got me. I was on the floor. Oh, yeah, yeah. I was on the floor on that one. You never know what she go say. Yeah, you never know. You never know what she go say. That's right. It's one that's really, really recent and current. Okay. I'm against it. We not talking about last evening in South Carolina. We not talking about that. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Even though that was sad. No, I want to hit you with something. Now, the first thing about this chick, this Rachel Dozier from the MWC. Come on, come on, come on. Spokane, Washington. What is wrong with her? Let me tell you, let me tell you. You are asking me an inflammatory question. Flaming, flaming, flaming. For consideration of your censorship and the format of your show, I may or may not be able to do this without cussing. Okay, well, go ahead, go ahead. Rachel, I hope you are listening. If you are listening, check. Oh, merciful Jesus. Rachel, you need to call Christian number one. You need to call me. You don't need to come to me. I'm going to come to you. First thing. We don't do is we don't pray. We don't get that. Leave out your head. Oh, she got that. Oh, she got that. What are we going to do? Hey, wait, cousin. That's a week. We don't get that out your hair. We don't get that out your hair. We don't get that out your hair. We don't get that out your hair. Okay. It ain't going to hurt nothing because you know you're going that way anyway. We don't get all of that. There are going to be a lot of people. Okay. There are going to be a lot of people. I know that's right. Me and. Me and you. Me and you because I'm a sister. Mm-hmm. We're going to go to your bank. Okay. We're going to do a transfer. Yeah. You want to help me. A transfer. Yeah, you got to do that. A transfer every damn dime you got over to my bank account. Once we do that, we're going to get you fitted for a straight jacket. Okay. Because you damn sure. We're going to call Barbara Walters while we are doing the fitting because we're going to set you up for an interview on the day of your. Because she's showing. She's showing. She's showing. She's showing. She's showing. She's showing. She's showing. She's showing. the cameras on her face. And then when it's all said and done, Barbara done laid you out. I done slept to you a couple of times. You're going to call your mama and your daddy and you're going to apologize. That's what we're going to do. Hey, hey, hey, hey, Carisha, Carisha. She was getting away. Hey, check it out, check it out, check it out. She was getting away with this. And her parents dropped the dime over there. Her parents called her out. Parents straight called her out. Let me tell you why I am so passionate, okay? Whew, it's hot up in here now. Take your time, take your time. When you claim to be what I am, which is a sister, that means you are a part of a sisterhood. Okay. Sisterhood is built on trust, chick. Oh, I like that. Okay, I like that. I like that, I like that, I like that. Your trust is not built on lies. I like that, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hold on, hang on, I'm not through. Go ahead, text. When you lie, when you lie, okay, you remove my ability to make an informed decision about your motives, your thoughts, and your actions in a country that's built on slavery. Gotcha. Racism, marginalization, oppression. You can't be me, chick, on your best day. You cannot be me. Okay. I'm gonna write, I pray to God. I see why I pray I run into this. Hey, Cresha, Cresha. Oh, God, I run into this, chick. Hey, Cresha, you got a little hot on that one. Yeah, you did. Okay, so I got a... Oh, okay. Hey, so let me throw you... Hold my paper. Let me throw you... We better switch it up. Yeah, let's switch it up. Cresha about to go ahead and... Let me switch it up. Yeah, you know, because she might... When I tell you, when I tell you, Rachel, don't, won't, shut up. Okay. Rachel was just trying to help us. She was just trying to help us. Okay, so let's go to the next one. I'm wound up in here. Let's go to the next one. So I was just in Texas a couple of weeks ago, and Cresha, you still there? Was that that foil? I'm still here. You know, McKinney, I'm on that too. Okay. All right. On that hitter here. Oh, you know... Now, I got... Now, you know I'm on that. I got a couple of... You know... That brown legged... All right, there we go. Hey, first of all... A couple of mixed feels on McKinney. But first of all... Now, I do understand, because I have some stomping grounds in the southern sector of these United States of America, as you can tell. My dialect is, you know, I'm them and the nay and her and him. So I know a little something about being down south. When you are gathering, you should be able to do so freely. There should not be a set of rules for one set of people and a different set of rules for my people. All right. That's right. But what I was going at, though... Kids are going to be kids. Hold up. Cresha. You can't stop Cresha. No, no, Ty. You can't stop. Well, we have to, because... No, no, Ty. You can't. Not right now. She in a row. Okay, let me shut up. All right. Okay. You can't have one set of rules to do. I'm going to shut up for you and a separate set of rules for me. Kids are going to be kids. If you do not want my black kids at your party, you don't want my black kids in your neighborhood, then to hell with you. Yeah. She said to hell with you. I deserve to be there with my black kids that look like me deserve to be there. Oh, man. Yeah. Yeah, that was... They was out of line. And then there's not... I mean, with the same intensity that you cussing these kids out and you slinging them on the ground, I have not heard one person get out of their house or get on public television and apologize. No, not yet. To them or to their family. No, they sure haven't. What you going to do? You going to stage an impasse, a roadblock to say, well, you can't come through here. That ain't good enough. Yeah, I see. With the same intensity that you were cussing these kids out, I need somebody to get on television and take responsibility. Be accountable for this. These are children. Hey, got to be accountable. Got to be held accountable for that. That was out of bounds. No doubt. You know what I'm saying? We need to be accountable. We need to be upset. We need to be angry enough that we affect change and it does not happen anymore. Because if I get up in your chest and I get up hard enough, you ain't going to do it no more. Trust me, you're not going to do it no more. But we as a people, we need to come together. We need to organize. And we need to do things and take the measures. And whatever we need to have slapped up on the table to make sure legally this doesn't happen again, we need to get that did. But it keeps happening. It just happened again. I saw a video. And it was some kids at a pool. They had on bathing suits. And once again, cops were blowing them up. Hell, if you're taking executive order, if the head chiefs need to step in, whatever it takes is what I'm saying. Got to do something. Got to make a change. All hands on deck. I'm not just talking community to community. I'm talking to the chief of staff. I'm talking to the head man himself. I got you. We need to have all hands on deck to make sure that we can eradicate this problem. Because in 2015, it is sad that this is happening. At an alarming rate. It's sad. Yeah, you're right. Hey, I tell you what. So let me switch it up. I tell you what. Your girl won't be on radio no more if it happens to my baby. All right, so. All right, so, Cresha. We will have no more conversations. Cresha, I know you're passionate. I'm calling from cell block number three. She passionate. She passionate. I'm going to do that time with a smile on my face. I promise you. That's right. That's right. All right. That's the attitude we got to have, too. All right, Cresha. Let me hit you with this. Is this inflammatory ass questions? Come on. Come on. Come on. Another thing that happened in Texas recently. Because, you know, Texas got a bad name right now, man. It's a big ass state. There's a lot of shit going on. Yeah. So, so, so, so. It's rough out there. What is your, all that rain that's been going on? I mean, I know folks who have to rent a boat to get to work. Okay, now, this is the deal with that. That's the law at work. I was about to say cleansing. Doing some cleansing. Oh, so he says a lot of sinners? He says a lot of sinners in Texas. There's some cleansing going on over there. No. I'm trying to get to heaven with my baby. I'm trying to get to heaven with my baby. I'm trying to get to heaven with my baby. You ain't gonna drag me into the Lord's work. That's the Lord's doing. Okay? There are certain things in certain regions called tornado season or flood season. Yeah. Okay? This is what you need to do. If you reside in one of those areas, you have to put your coins together and get you a home in another area and up your property insurance, your flood insurance, your hail damage insurance, your fire insurance, your tornado insurance. Whatever it is that you need to do to be all right to live in that area. Because if you accept the fact that this is the condition for a certain season and you ask, say the hell you get what you get. That's right. I want you to say it again because a lot of people that I've talked to who are not from Texas, let them know that is the tornado season. People say, there's a season for that? There is a season, dude. Listen to Cresha. There is a tornado season. Sound like a train is coming to host those damn moons on your house. Yep. Right. Stop, stop, stop. I mean, you got a whole mess on top of your ass in the house. It's real. Couldn't deal with that. It's real. Mm-mm. I couldn't deal with that. See, I'd rather do Cousin Cresha, I'd rather do a little shaking out here on the West Coast and enjoy this good weather than have to mess with tornado season. Nah, I'll go with tornado. Anytime something got a season, you know it's coming. At least I don't know no earthquake is coming. Don't they got a movie out there right now? San Andreas. Yes, it is. Yeah. We just shake a little bit. Okay, let's get on the movie. Let's get on another topic because we can speak to the audience. All right, all right. Hey, so before we, because your time is almost up, but I want you to touch on one more thing. Go ahead, go on. Now, there's this election going to be coming up. All these people throwing their hats in the ring, but the Republicans, there's about 1,500 of them over there. Oh, yeah, that's a grip of them. There's 1,500 of them over there. Including your boy Trump. Yeah, and the good Trump, he hired people to be in this rally. To come to this rally. Hey, there you got Jeb Bush. But you got lies, you know, that's something that's going to get uncovered. I'm telling you, we are smart, we are capable. Don't fret. Don't fear because the saying is there's strength in numbers. And yeah, they got a little bit more money than we got. What the hell? But we're smarter than they are. Yeah. We're smarter, we're more capable, and we have more integrity. So we will win. We're going to rise above it. Believe that. All right. And I just want to say, you know, Hillary and Ron, I'm probably going to have to vote for them. All right. At all. I guess so. No, you know what? My vote is for Cousin Cresha. Yeah. Come on, 2016. Now, you know what I... You know what? I actually need to run. I need to... That's what I'm talking about. The one thing I like about Hillary, you know, I'm always bringing it back to how it can benefit me. She's going to throw some hell of a parties because let me see. Look, look, look, look, look. They from Arkansas, right? What slab is that? First of all, she's probably going to have slab performance at the temple. But they know some damn barbecue. And they throw some hell of a party. Them Arkansas people can barbecue. I'm with you when you... I am with you when you write. And you ain't lying about that. Them Arkansas people can barbecue. So slab need to be hot on that Hillary. So Cousin Cresha... That would be hell of a party right there. Boy, get out of here. Can I just... Can I plug a couple things? Go on, plug a couple things right quick and tell people how they can get in contact with Cousin Cresha as well. You can get in contact with Cousin Cresha on Twitter. Okay. Cousin C-U-Z-I-E. Okay. C-R. You're going to have to dub that E. Dub that E. S-H-A. Yeah. Cousin Cresha two E's. S-H-A. That's at Cousin Cresha on Twitter, Facebook. If you just type in Cousin Cresha, she's like, pop tarts. I'm going to pop the hell up. If you Google me, if you Google Cousin Cresha, I'm bam, right in your face because I'm everywhere. I'm on YouTube. I'm on Facebook. I'm on Twitter. I'm on Instagram. If you want to email me, Cousin Cresha at gmail.com. I don't have you on Twitter. I don't know. I'm scared. Be tweeting and whatnot. Because you know, YouTube 100 for me, boy. I tell you. Keep it real, real. Keep it 100. Keep it real, real. I love it. That's why I'm telling you, you got to run. Cousin Cresha, you got to run for president. 2016. I can see it. I can see it now. All I got to say is don't let me in nowhere near your campaign. You get some coins together and I'll run. I bring it on home. Don't let it. Don't let Terrible T nowhere near your campaign because we going down. We going down, Jack. Why we going down? Because it's going to be some scandals. We ain't talking about the TV show. We ain't talking about the TV show. Hey, Cousin Cresha, appreciate you calling in. We appreciate you calling. We definitely appreciate you doing the videos for us. Here we go. Was that on air? Here we go. Yeah, I like that. Taste your love. Here we go. HB, man. Horace Brown, man. We're having a Horace Brown, man. Man, Horace Brown was hot. For a second. He was hot for a second. Yeah. Before that, we had... Have you heard from him? Because you're friends with Horace Brown. You know what? I reached out to Horace Brown about three or four months ago. Uh-huh. And he didn't hit me back, man. He didn't hit me back. So I knew for a fact that he was doing something. He had a play or something that he was doing. Oh, you know what? He has been on that circuit. He does a lot of those plays. Yeah, so he's doing that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So maybe when he gets freed up, because I definitely want HB on the show. Gotta have him on the show. I'm trying to think of... It was a remix that I really liked of his. It was featuring somebody back in the day. I'm gonna look it up, though. Now... Hey, Google. Yvonne and Kiki Wyatt. We played that video, man. Kiki Wyatt? Yeah, yeah. What's she up to? She been kind of off the scene, too, man. She got that reality show. She on the whatever the... Oh, is she on... Yeah, you know I watch some damn reality shows, man, so... And then, you know, we had a guy, I2 Pablo, man, who came to us from Music Connection, man. Nice, nice, nice. I love it. Like I said, we can find some gems, man. We can find some gems. We can find some gems up in there, man. And if you can go ahead and explain how that came about, the Music Connection. Okay, so Music Connection, the magazine, very prominent magazine. If you're trying to do anything in the industry, Music Connection is like the Bible. Music Connection, yeah. Google them. They rate your music, all kind of information about managers, entertainment lawyers, anything that you're trying to do as far as music. They publish the... They publish the full list. So if you're trying to get on and you don't know where to go, so there's no excuse. Like, I don't have no numbers. I don't have no email addresses. So like, I'm gonna give you a perfect example. So like, if they're... If they... If their particular magazine segment is geared towards A&Rs, they will publish like 10, 11, 12 pages of nothing but A&Rs information. How to get in contact with them. They... Email addresses, their phone numbers, and things of nature. If they take solicited or unsolicited material, how you go about sending it to them. It's wonderful. A lot of information. A lot of information. So Music Connection has a deal with us that every publication that they send out, they give out information and let people know that, hey, Indie Face Radio is looking for independent artists. You need to hit them up. Call at them. Now, with that being said, we have a call. We're on the line. Our second... Our second guest, our name is Carrie Davis. Hope she's still there because we played a lot of music. Carrie, I know you're still there, girl. We're a little behind because Christian was off the chain. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, she is off the chain. Yes, she is. Oh, my goodness. So how you doing? How you doing? So give everybody a little bit of background about you, who you are, and where you hail from. Well, thank you. Thank you so much. I'm doing wonderful. Actually, my name is Carrie Davis. Right. And the biggest thing I want to say is that, first and foremost, I am Miss Nevada Plus America for 2015. That's what I'm talking about. Wow. That's what I'm talking about. Congratulations. That's what I'm talking about. Now, you know what? Before we go any further, I do have a question. Okay. Plus size, is there a minimum or a minimum or, you know, is there a certain weight that you have to be to qualify for plus size? That's a good question. Because what's defined as plus size? You know, they're like, nope, you ain't winning. You're a pound too light. No, there is no requirement with regards to weight. There is a size requirement. Oh, okay. It is a dress size, which is a 14. Oh, okay. So if you're 13, you don't qualify. Oh, wow. Interesting. Oh. They have other pageant systems for people who are smaller than a 14. Ah, y'all be cheating like in boxing. You know, you come in, you weigh in a certain weight and then you go on a show and you another weight. I ain't mad at you though. But they say a lot of those competitions, you know, they have like little tricks, Vaseline on the teeth and all that kind of good stuff. Yeah, we have our little nuances that we, you know, take care of things that we need to take care of. Okay. We can't let you in on all the secrets. Right, right. Just some of them. Just some of them. So, now, how many titles do you actually, hold? I mean, you missed what now? Okay. Well, the first title that I was awarded was Miss Madison County plus America. Okay. For 2015. That was in November of last year. I competed at that level for Miss Alabama plus America. I was actually the first runner up for Miss Alabama, which means that I can compete for Miss plus America as an at-large delegate. Okay. And what that just means is that I can represent a state that currently does not have a patent system. Oh. I used to live in Nevada. I lived in Las Vegas for seven years, so I chose Nevada and that's how I got Miss Nevada plus America for 2015. I'm excited. Now, let me ask you this. I'm excited for you. For a young lady that's plus size, let's say she's about 17, 18 years old and want to get started in something like this, how bad is it for her? How fast would you navigate that young lady to even get started in something like that? Absolutely. Actually, all she would need to do is to visit the website, which is missplusamerica.com and all of the information with regards to the requirements, the entry fees, how she can get involved on the local level and then gradually build her way up to the Miss plus America competition, which is actually going to be held in Atlanta this year, July 27th through August 1st. Now, are there any other type of rules, like being convicted of a murder or are there any other kind of restrictions? Well, there are restrictions and they do do a little background check. However, because of the fact that we are required to have a platform which is connected to community service, it doesn't necessarily mean that you would be disqualified because if you had a history of some type of crime or some type of felony or if that's related to your platform, they actually will welcome it. Okay. Now, how about if Caitlyn Jenner, she went up to size 14, would she qualify? Well, you actually have to be born female. Oh, okay. And then she doesn't meet the size requirement anyway. Yeah, I said she got up to 14. Yeah, okay. All right, that's what's up. And you know what, you know how sometimes when you don't have, you're not exposed to it, you don't know how big, these things are. Now, how big is the plus size model? You know, the whole circuit, the whole, the shows and everything. I'm sure you guys get quite a big turnout. Absolutely. We actually, on the state level, we had at least 300 people that attended on the state level. Wow, very cool. And that's just literally the state of Alabama. So we will have representation from I believe 28 states this year at the national level. And so, of course, the people, who support and follow us will come along on that journey. So we'll be actually at the world, Georgia World Congress Center. So and I think they have a capacity of 1200. Now, is it a talent? Is it a swimsuit? Is it a, you know, an impromptu questions? What can we expect to see to go to one of your shows? There is actually, first of all, there's a preliminary competition that will narrow down the different categories to five contestant, in each category that will compete in the finale. But we also have evening gown competition. We have a elegant pant wear. We don't have swimwear. We have elegant pant wear, which is something you would wear to a red carpet event. OK, then we do have other optional competitions, which include talent and spoken word and and things that they've run way model, runway, photogenic cover girl. We have all of those optionals, but they do not affect your final score for the crown. OK, now, Karen, what do you do? What do I do for a living? For the talent, for the yeah, yeah, for your talent. Now, what is your specialty? Like, yeah, you do the spoken word. Do you do the singing? What do you do? I actually do the runway modeling and the cover girl and photogenic. OK, that's what's up. Hey, let me ask you this. OK, you know, when I'm watching Miss America pageant, they always be at one point of the show. You got to go up there and ask that point them question that one question that's in front of America. And a lot of times they get stumped on this one question. OK, and I'm a ax it to you and see how you pull it off. OK, here we go. Because it is all because this one time, hey, this one question can either make a break them being Miss America. All right, here we go. Sometimes it's a great answer. and sometimes it's bad. I think I'm ready. I think I'm ready. Okay. And you're going to recognize this question because it's asked every year. Okay? Mm-hmm. Okay. They get them all up in the spotlight. Boom, boom, boom. Boom, boom, boom. Boom, boom, boom. Whole world is watching. And they say, if you had one wish, one wish, one wish, to better this world that we live in right now, what would that one wish be? Well, my one wish would be that everyone would discover what their true purpose is in life, what their true calling is. I believe a lot of people would be happier, would feel complete, would do a lot of good in this world if they were operating in their true divine purpose that they were sent here to accomplish. Oh! There we go. And the winner is... Christmas, I'm in America. I won? I won? Okay. Okay. Christmas, I'm in America. That's good. I like that. I like that a lot. Yeah, that's what's up. That's what's up. Now, is there any prep work that you guys do? You know, because, I mean, you know, some people can't go from the top of their head and answer that question. Some people have totally got, you know, just all twisted up. You know, watch the... Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That question jacks people up. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, is there any prep work that goes along with, you know, getting ready for a competition? Well, we do have practice questions that we get from... All of the people who are leaders in the organization, our former queens, they'll prepare us. You know, they'll tell us some of the questions that they were asked last year, things like that. Things that are going on in the world, they really steer us to CNN to watch what's going on in the world, you know, kind of form an opinion, and then just be prepared. I mean, be prepared really for anything. Anything can happen. I've seen people get up and just absolutely blow it out the water, and I've seen people get up and just breathe. Now, how about you? You're like... You're walking. You're walking stuff. You know, do you have a special coach for that, or you watch videos, YouTube, or...? I personally don't have a coach, but there are coaches available to help with that. Because I do runway modeling, I kind of have a feel for walking on stage and what that feels like in the heels and things like that. But there is help that is available for people who have never done it. Okay, cool. Now, you know what? You know, the question that I have for you is how did you get involved? You know, unfortunately, in our society, we have... You know, this vision, this, you know, little magazines, you know, a model's supposed to be this size, that size, or whatever. So, you know, of course, a lot of females' self-esteem, you know, isn't there. But, you know, for you to be a size 14 and say, you know what? I do want to model. I do want to do competitions. How did you get exposed to that? And, you know, where did that self-confidence come from to make you pursue that? Well, actually, I have a mentor who actually had been asking me for, a couple of years, about modeling. She feels like I took amazing pictures. She just kept saying, you really should do this. You really need to consider it. Which I just always thought, they're okay. You know, I never really thought it was model quality. So, actually, on October 15th of last year, I said to her, okay, I'm willing to try it. And once I did that, and I had my first photo shoot, and I got published four times before the end of 2014. Okay, okay. It's just, at that point, I was like, okay, there might be something to this. Hey, I might be on to something, huh? Exactly, exactly. But in the process, I also was connected with a young lady who was overseeing the pageant here locally in the state. Okay. And she knows how connected I am in the community. And I've actually been doing a lot of community service just on my own because I'm passionate about my platform, which is connected to domestic violence and abuse. And so... Not to, you know, get too busy or whatever, but is that something close to you? It is, it is. Okay, okay. I am actually a survivor. Okay. So, I'm motivated to help those that are, you know, going through that process or coming out of that process to transition to their purpose in life. That is what my platform is called, The Purple Passage. Okay. So, it focuses on that transition from just being a survivor. Because a survivor is only existing. They're not actually living. Right, right. And so, you need to enable, you know, empower yourself to actually live out your life in the purpose that was divinely given to you and the reason for you being here. So, that's why it was so easy for me to answer that question. Well, Carrie, I appreciate you calling us. We're kind of a little pressed for time, but how can people get in contact with you? Oh, there's so many ways to get in touch with me. There's so many ways. Hit us up, hit us up. All over Facebook, Miss Nevada Plus America 2015. Yes. Miss Madison County Plus America 2015. And Miss Carrie, one word, Taylor Shea CEO. You're on Facebook? Those are my Facebook pages. Okay, what is it on Facebook? I'm on Facebook right now. Go ahead. Okay. So, Miss Nevada Plus America 2015. That's long. I can't type. Oh, that's what she does. I type with one finger, man. That's long. That's what she does. That's what she does. That's what she does. That's what she does. That's what she does. That's what she is. Hey, I type with one finger. I don't care. That's what she is. Okay. All right, Miss Nevada USA. Miss Nevada Plus America. Oh, Plus America. Okay. Plus America 2015. You have to say the plus because Donald Trump owns Miss America. Oh, yeah. He sure do. We don't want any problems. All right, let's see. Oh, here we go. I think I'm on something. Well, hey, so that's how people can contact with you. You was on the show before, and we definitely want you to come back on. And let us know all your success, you know. As you progress, we definitely want you to check back in with Indie Face Radio, okay? Absolutely. I love corn deezy and terrible tea. Oh, there we go. All right. We definitely appreciate you. Well, this is Miss Carrie Davis. Oh, I'm on. I'm on. I'm on. Okay. All right. Yeah, yeah. Okay. So thanks for calling in, and we're going to go on just a little commercial break. I'll see you all up there. Okay. But must continue success and call back in, okay? Thank you. Thank you so much. I will. Thanks for the love. All right. That's what's up, man. All right. So we got a little commercial break, and then on the other side, we got Dante Walker going to be up in here. Did he finally make it? I think he's parking right now. He's parking now? All right. Good. Yeah. So this Indie Face Radio, there's terrible tea and corn deezy, man. 1-800-893-9562. Roundman, if you still on, you need to call me right quick, man, and see what's happening, man. So this Indie Face Radio, man. That's how we do. It's Real Deal Fitness. Hey, what's up? This is Trainer Z, the fitness motivator, coming at you once again with the Real Deal Fitness. And you know what? When it comes to fitness, I'm not scientific. I'm realistic. I keep it old school. I keep it real school. Throw out the books. Throw out the charts. Throw out all the newfangled balance exercises. I keep it hardcore. Keep it real core. Today, we're going to break down what is the most challenging repetitive body weight exercise when it's done correctly, and that is chin-ups slash pull-ups. That exercise works the upper back. That's what we're going to do. We're going to do the lats for latissimus dorsi muscles if you really want to get technical in that regard, but don't ask me to spell it. All right? We're going to demonstrate this. Now, most people perform these half-cocked. They don't have the strength, don't have the endurance to perform them at their full range. So I'm going to demonstrate them at half-cocked, and then also I'm going to give it to you full tilt with a full body range. All right? Let's get it cranked up. Full body weight, right? Grab, hold, extend. This is the start of the exercise. Pull. Most people will do this. This is what we need. All the way down. Back up. All the way down. Back up. All the way down. And back up. And we can give a little added stretch at the bottom. And release. Chin-ups. Chin-ups slash pull-ups for the upper back. Add them to your next workout routine. Let the progress, let the strength progress from there. I'm trainer Zeta Fitness Motivator. Until the next time, stay motivated. I'm Coach Dennis Bariwa. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. That's the homie round, man. All right, so we got about 10 minutes left on the show, man. Our last guest just strolled into the studio, Mr. Dante Walker, man. How you doing? Man, I'm doing good. I'm doing good. How you doing, man? Been knowing this brother for a while, man. Okay, okay. So y'all go back. Yeah, yeah, he does his thing, man. I know you guys was talking. Hey, man, so this housing market right now in L.A., man, is it good? Is it bad? Is it up for now? What's up? Tell me about it. Well, the housing market in L.A. is definitely up. You have a lot of locations in L.A. where they're doing gentrification. Right. And tell me exactly what that is. Well, it's when— They're getting the black people out and making the white ones. It's because of all the money. That's it. People want to know. Like how he said. People want to know. People want to know. Well, here's the thing. You know what I mean? If they're trying to get you out, I definitely advise anyone who owns a home in the inner city to hold on to it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's Big Mama's house. You know what I mean? No matter if the house go up to— You know, $500,000, $600,000. Man, hold on to it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, I know people quick to go ahead and sell. Yeah, man. They quick to sell. If you buy a house for like $100,000, then they're going to give you $600,000. Dante, people coming at you with money, dude. Man, you got people that's coming cash money. Right. Cash money. But this is what you do. If you know that your property is worth that much, why sell it? You know? Take a little bit of cash out. Fix your situation. Whatever your situation might be. It might be your credit. It might be the house. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Don't live in that neighborhood no more. Take the little bit of cash. Don't take all the cash. Okay. Buy you something somewhere else and then rent it out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Because here's the thing. They go into the neighborhood. They go build the neighborhoods up so the rents is going to be high. So I got an area for, I'll give you for instance, Pico and Fairfax. Okay. It's always been a decent area. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well. It sure is. Three bedroom house right now. You try to rent a three bedroom house over there right now. How much? How much? Man, you're looking at four grand a month. It's hitting for that much. Is that right? They building up around there. Ooh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Four grand? Yeah, I got a lady that live over there. She got a one bedroom apartment. She paid $2,000. Jesus. See? And that's crazy because you can actually, that could be a mortgage payment right there. Yeah, it is. Easily. Two G's. It definitely is. Yeah. I have a client right now. I'm looking for them something. They approved. They're paying $4,500 a month in Century City. Wow. For a two bedroom. Wow. Let me ask you this though, man. The renters. Okay, I'm just going to break it down to it. I'm renting. This is the average person I'm talking to. I'm renting. I ain't got the money to be buying, dude. I'm barely making it. I'm check to check, man. How the hell am I supposed to buy a house? Well, they got programs out here for you to buy houses. Okay. Break it down. They have programs where they'll give you some money towards your down payment. Uh-huh. They got programs where you can go in with as little as a half percent down. But what I tell people is, you know, how hungry are you? How hungry are you to buy a house? You know, yeah, you might be renting an apartment, whatever. Okay, let's take a couple, for instance. Okay. You got the boyfriend live over here. Okay. The girlfriend live over here. Mm-hmm. All right. Why don't y'all come together, move into it together. Yeah. Let's save that money. Okay, if she paying $1,000, you paying $1,000, or you paying $1,500, she paying $1,000. How you get your creep on if you, I'm just playing. That's another show. That's another show. Yeah, come together. Come together. All right, all right. Yeah, come together. You know what I mean? Now, guess what? You saving at least $1,000 a month. Yeah. Okay. Stack that paper. Don't go on them trips. Don't go buy no new car. You know, that's what we do. You can do that later. Yes, do that later. Yeah. Get the house. Buy the house. Be an escrow. Close escrow. The day you close escrow, if you can afford a new car, go buy a new car then. Right. You got the house and the car, but save your money. A lot of people don't want to take that sacrifice. You know what I mean? I look at, you know, old school cats. Man, they bust their butts. They went and got second jobs. And like, okay, I'm going to get the second job, man. I'm only making $200, $300 a week on the second job, but I'm going to stack this paper. Yeah, yeah. So $300 a week, that's $1,200 a month. That's real spent. Man, that's $14,000 a year. Yeah. You got it saved up. Now you can go to that program and say, hey, I want to get a house. The program gives you the down payment. You just got to pay your closing costs. Right, right, right, right. Now you in a house. Your mortgage is fixed. It's for the rest of your life. Right, right, right. Versus rent, that's going to constantly change. Change, yeah. Why don't you give the people a little background about you as far as what you do in this market and how you qualify to do what you do and where you work, man. Briefly. Yeah, we got about six minutes. Yeah, we got about six minutes. So I got into the real estate game by accident. I tell everyone I got in by accident. I worked for a company called Crescent Jewelers. It was a jewelry company. I was out there. And I'm sitting across the table like you are. I'm a gentleman. And I'm negotiating a lease for them. And a guy's like, well, how much you making on this? So I'm like, I work for the company. He's like, oh, no, man. You got to get broken off a little something. He's like, man. He was like, he wrote a number down. That number was $190,000. He said, when you give me this check for them to sign this lease, I go to my client and my clients go cut me a check for $190,000. I'm like, are you serious? He's like, yeah. And aren't you renewing three leases with me? I'm like, yeah. I'm like, so instantly I got it. I went to a real estate school on the way from that meeting. Saw one. How long did it take? Signed up. It took me a year. Is that right? That's not bad, man. It took me one year. That test is hard, ain't it? The test is hard. So I ended up leaving that company. I started. That's where I met Triple T over at Playboy. Playboy, yeah. I was doing television programming. Real quick. The test. You said it's hard. Everybody always says it's hard. It's hard. Is it a lot of math? You know what? It's not a lot of math. Is it some math? It's some math. Because I suck at math. I always wanted to get into real estate, but I'm like, you know, calculating that money. I suck at math. It's 5% of the test is math. Is that right? So if you fail the math. What kind of math is it? Geometry. Damn straight. One plus one. Hey, wait. If I got a house and I say, hey, it's a million dollars, you know what I'm saying? How much money you got? It shouldn't be that complicated. No, they're not even asking questions like that. You know, it's more of a square footage. It is. It's a lot of size. Oh, is that right? Oh, okay. More of the math. It's like. Remember what, you know, a lot of size. What an acre is. Okay. 8,586 square feet. I might be able to do it. I might be able to do it. Come on, do it. It's tough though, dude. It is tough. I know someone's wife. She ain't no dummy. I know her. She flunked it twice. Yeah. It's real and feel. I know that. Yeah. So then I got my real estate license. I was working over at Playboy and I started working for Century 21. Okay. Basically, this was before the whole internet and everything. Before you had all these wind forms. Like everything people got now was before all that. So, was over there for about a year. I had a buddy named Rod tell me about, hey, you need to come over here with us. We killing it. He's like, man, I closed the deal. I made $12,000. I quit my job on the spot. I'm like, what? He's like, yeah, you get paid. Yeah, that's what's up. And you close escrow, you getting paid right now. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So he showed me. I went over there, worked with him. Showed me the loans, how to do loans. He showed me. Showed me how to get business. That was another thing. He showed me how to get business. Right, right, right. So I was over there for about a year and some change. And then I had a buddy wanted me to come in and do some work with him and start a company called Posh Realty. Okay. So him and I, we started Posh Realty. He is the broker. I'm the co-owner of Posh Realty. We started Posh Realty and we just been working it. Been doing it since 2006 with him. And, you know, we battled the storm. You know, I'm not going to say every day was a good day. Yeah. Of course, of course. But I get out there and hustle and bustle. My main market right now, I have a couple agents that work under me. I have a full team. We have people that work out of downtown L.A. right over here off of Wall Street. Okay. It's booming right now. Yeah. So we got an office right over here on Wall Street and then we got an office in the Empire. So we handle it anywhere between L.A. to the Empire. Whatever you need. Whatever your need is, we can do it. Okay. That's what's up. That's what's up. Quick question for him right quick because we got about two and a half minutes. Oh, I got a quick question. Okay. I am out in the I.E. Okay. My house went right when it was down and everybody was getting kicked out their houses and, yeah, I swooped up on one. Like, hey. Oh, you good. What part of I.E. are you in? Yeah. I'm in Marina Valley. Okay. Okay. Okay. Right off of, I ain't going to say my street name. But, so I look on Zillow sometimes and it's going up. It's going up, yeah. My house is constantly going up. I just saw the house off of Heacock. How, yeah. Okay. Okay. Now, how accurate is Zillow? How accurate is Zillow with appraisal of your house? So, appraisal of the house, it's, I want to say it's 90% right sometimes. Is that right? Yeah. Oh, oh, I'm maybe in some money. Yeah, yeah. Don't sell. Don't sell. Don't sell. Don't sell because it keeps going up. Just stay where you at. I'm like, hey, hey, I'm tempted sometimes, you know, because I got a lot of business out here. So, I'm like. Well, here's the thing. I may rent it out, though. You'll rent it out. Yeah. Because, you know, we do property management, too. Yeah. We do property management, too. Okay, I may have to mess with you. Y'all need to get it. Yeah, I may have to mess with you for sure. And then with the property management, you know, a lot of times people are like, I want to rent it out, but they don't know that, you know, if you go to a property management, they can go ahead and take care of that. Ooh, time is going. Well, I'll tell you what. We got to have him back, man. Thank you. We got to have him back. We got to have him back. Come here. Yeah. Dante, you dropping some jewels, man. Yeah, man. We got to have him back. Look, we have to have you back. Okay. I want to say. Just don't have me back one day. Obama's in town. No, no. You know what I mean? He would have me throwing him all these houses, you know what I mean? I'm not going to have you back when Obama is in town. And let me tell you something else too, Dante. We usually tape later. Okay. But this was just like one of them times we did. One year anniversary. Celebration. But it's a one year anniversary, but we usually tape around about eight, nine o'clock each time.
