met a lot of them yet and i'm going to get to at the skid row party next saturday i'm excited about that so by the time you hear this i will have met them and we will have partied and i'll let you know how that goes in january anyway back to endings and beginnings what you're completing what you're getting started uh so yeah we have a fascination to do this and i'm going to be doing a lot of this and i'm going to be doing a lot of this it's this thing every year kind of like a countdown looking back at what was you know kind of going over it sometimes with a with a fascination about the things that changed and the things that changed suddenly and there are so many things that have changed and we're not even as i'm recording this not even done with 2013 and i'm sure there's going to be some more big changes this year there are so many things we've really changed or woken up to or become aware of or experienced this year pretty much all of it is a lot of things that have changed and we're not even done with incredible things and however you feel about them you know whatever whatever you whatever you feel about the energy of the news or the things that changed in different countries and just how people see things it's really hard to ignore the fact that people are changing the way that they live on this planet and with each other and we kind of have to and as a psychic and a spiritual teacher i look at this energy a lot you know i love to see the cycles the patterns the patterns of life of how we deal with each other how we deal with our own realities how we deal with you know the planet how we are what our consciousness is and what we're working on and as a psychic that's the energy i look at i have a lot of clients and i have a lot of people who come back to me repeatedly and they might not come to me for a period of time you know somebody comes because usually because they have a big thing they're going through you know there's a a breakup or a change or a change or a change or a change or a change or a change or a change or a transformation or they're just feeling stuck and lost or they're trying to see something that they can't see for themselves and i don't judge where they're at at all i just look at the energy you know what does it look like this person's working on what does it look like they're they're caught in or what is it that they're trying to move past in other words sometimes it's what are they ending a lot of times it is what what are they ending what are they through with or completing or what did they already destroy because that's another way to look at it and i think that's what did they move out of or what are they looking to create in order to create anything new you're going to destroy something else this is not destruction as a as a bad energy or a negative but as a release a letting go so when people come to me and i get to see them doing this and i get to see you know somebody might be in the thick of it going through a thing and i believe me i've done it too i've been there myself going through a thing and i've done it too and i've done it myself going through whether it's a change in a relationship or in a job situation or something that just feels like an insurmountable worry or energy and then i watch them do it and watch them get through it and create something new and it's like a whole different year you know it's like they've moved into a whole new level and they're the ones doing it it's not me doing it i say hello to it but it's that their work you have that too you have your own completing finishing what you you're ending in your life and i thought for this show it might be really fun to kind of go into that energy you know what is it you are done with that you're finishing that was actually you did a great job it's not a loss or a you know something that you were you finished wrongly or did something a bad way or made a bad choice so much so much as it is about looking at what did you decide to be done with what did you do it in a happy way you know whether it was in a happy way or kind of a less happy way but now you realize you're through it what are you finishing and then what did you leave room for you're listening to psychic every day at skid row studios.com i'm chris cahill and if you just join me thank you for doing so thanks so much for listening this is a pre-recorded show this is my christmas show and rather than just do a show about the holidays which you know i'm you've already watched all the shows about the holidays by tonight i'm going to do a show about the holidays i'm doing a show about endings and beginnings completing and starting something new what is it you're getting ready for so i do want to say goodbye to 2013 what did we leave behind in 2013 well it looks to me just from my perspective as you know sitting here and having been paying attention to the news all year we left behind a certain amount of sleepiness a certain amount of sleepiness and i'm doing a show about endings and beginnings completing and starting something new what is it you're getting ready for so i do want to say goodbye to 2013 a certain amount of unconsciousness about how we are on this planet and in particular i can only speak for this country even though i pay attention to what happens on the whole planet but in this country there's a lot of waking up people have really gotten to a new point and there is leaving by an old picture and this is something i've i've talked about a few times on this show we're really saying goodbye to the old picture of the american dream and i believe that 2013 was the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the They'll be richer. They'll have more stuff. They'll be, you know, it's a fulfillment. I was giving a reading to a man the other day and he was asking me to take a look at his 23-year-old daughter and, you know, how she, after college, moved back home with him. And he was kind of worried about her thinking, well, she doesn't seem to know what she's doing and whatever it was. And I said to him, look, she doesn't have the American dream. You had it. You know, you're, you're, you've, you had a whole different picture. This is not happening anymore because we are creating something new and her generation is creating something new. It's a different story now. It's not a bad one. It's actually one where we wake up to the fact that we actually, we have a planet we have to think about and we're all part of that. It's not just something we own. It's something we need to work with. And that's part of why I see that one of our endings is an unconsciousness about that dream. And about consumption. And it's not that everybody's there yet or that it has to be a certain way, but you can see it. You can see people changing all over the world, all over the world. You know, the Europeans are going, what took you Americans so long? But it's true. You know, we're, we're working it. And so that's one of the endings. So notice for yourself with what you're completing, what you're finishing up in your life, how this may, may, you may completely disagree with me. And that's fine. I don't, I don't, I don't mind. You have that right. But just look and see, like in terms of your own life and what it is you're transforming or changing or ending, how does this work for you? Letting go of an old picture. Now, let me go into that a little bit. A picture, from my perspective, from that of a psychic, a picture is a reality or a belief, you know, reality, quote unquote, or belief or something that we all sink energy into and say, this is real. This dream is real. We have this American dream. It's real, but actually it's a picture. And then you start to become more conscious and say, well, do we want that picture to be this way? Is this how I actually want to see, you know, things? Do I want to keep consuming huge amounts? Wait a minute. Hey, there's all these stories coming out about how Walmart doesn't pay its workers enough. So people are on food stamps who work for Walmart. Oh, they're billionaire. Okay. Do I want to go shopping at Walmart? And my perspective? No, that's someplace I will not shop at, but that's why. And it's a consciousness and a creation of what changes when we do. So the American dream and needing to buy all this stuff, wait, who makes all that stuff? Oh yeah, it's made in China by a lot of people not getting paid a lot of money. Do you want to keep buying it? And maybe that's part of the dream that changes as we change how we see it. If you've been paying attention, you've noticed how many more people are creating their own businesses in this country. A lot of them are small business owners. A lot of them are producing and manufacturing in the country. You know, not that I'm saying you have to just buy things in the country, not at all, but there's a different way of doing things now. It's small business, people working in a different kind of way. And it's a wonderful new way that our economy is going too. There's more and more people working for the economy. And I think that's a great way to themselves. So what's ending in 2013 looks like it's a lot of the old ways of being unconscious about consumption and the karma about that as well. When you're letting go, when you're releasing the past and dropping and ending and finishing and forgiving and just deciding I'm done with that cycle I've been in, you make room. So here's another thing that's that even though it's new, it's a new creation. It is in fact a destruction. Excuse me. The Affordable Care Act. The Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, which it's kind of funny how many people don't know that those are the same things, but they are, is a new step. You know, if I had it my way, I'd have it be free healthcare. But right now, I don't have that. I'm not the one in charge. We all are, by the way. And when people start being able to have things like healthcare, which it seems like a basic human right, but you know, now we've got it, it's easier for some people and a lot more people and they have this, they can see life in a different way. Excuse me. The Affordable Care Act is not making me choke. So there's an imbalance that changes a new, a way that of life that ends or a new way of seeing things that ends because something new has been created and come into, into reality. And it's not done transitioning yet, but it's now here. So that's a new beginning, but it's also an ending of something. And you, you can, you could love the Affordable Care Act. You could hate it, but you have to. And so I think that's a new way of seeing things that ends. I have to admit that it really did create a great big wave of a completion because other things were with it. So I'm just looking at stuff that's in our, our American life in current times here in December of 2013. And I'm using these things as examples of how, and I'm borrowing a phrase from the seventies feminist movement, the personal is political. And I want to add to that. The personal is political is spiritual because it all begins with a, it begins with your spirit. It begins with your energy and your spirit and you become conscious and you become aware and you choose to end an old way or it ends. And then you realize, oh, this is part of, you know, what's changing. It's not just outside of me. I'm here as part of it. I'm also responsible for these changes and the way that you can help with anything ending, whether in your own life or in general, as we complete old cycles and, and finish them on the planet and move to hopefully much happier, you know, some, some situations, new ways of being that are kinder and more friendly to the environment and to each other and to the creatures here. It's by being conscious within yourself. And that's not a perfect thing. And it's also not something that has to be done a certain way. It's just waking up. It's your own way. So what I'd like you to do is look and see what are you ending? What are you done with? I have a few, um, just ideas or suggestions. Look and see what are you done with, with how you communicate? Now, I'm not saying that you were doing anything wrong. Just simply notice if your communication has changed, it might be that you started communicating a whole bunch as we all got crazy with the email and the, you know, Facebook and Twitter and all the rest. It's just so much someday. It's so overwhelming. There's so much happening. And there's such a demand to be communicating, but some of the communication isn't very deep. So look and see if you have completed a way of communicating so that you can maybe start a new way to communicate. It might be that you're done with an old way of doing things. It could also be that when one of the things you're working on with your own communication is going to be a little bit different. And that's why I'm saying, you know, communicating your own truth, speaking your own truth, deciding that you're going to communicate more clearly for you, or maybe stick up for yourself a little bit on some level if you haven't been. Maybe it's how you communicate within yourself, you know, with your, with you, what you say to you, whether you're saying nice things to yourself, good validating things, or if you've been really critical or picky, or worried about you and not really, you know, listening to yourself. So that's, that's something to look at just in terms of communication. It might be that you're completely fine with your communication. That isn't a thing that you're worried about. But if you're looking at creating something new in that place, you're also looking at finishing something old, something that might just be from the past. And you realize, oh, that isn't working for me anymore. We're living in a time when, when things are, moving so fast. So, so completely quick. I mean, just faster than ever before that I can think of in my life. And I don't necessarily think that's wrong. I just see it as, you know, this is like stuff is moving. It's either move with it or get out of the way. But if you stand, if you try to stand in the way of it, it's going to knock you down. I mean, for, as an example, check out the Pope. I mean, the Pope, come on. I never thought in my whole life that there would ever be a Pope. I'm saying the things this Pope is saying. And I got to say, I like this Pope. He's pretty cool. I hope he has a food taster. I got to tell you, that's all I can think is, dude, watch your back. But on the other hand, I think he's fine too, because it looks to me like he's protected. He's interesting. But he's communicating things, talking about communication in an old way of communication ending. He's communicating things from a completely different perspective than we have been hearing. And it's refreshing because it's real and it's very truthful and honest. He's coming from his own truth. And he's really working from something that is speaking to a lot of people. And a lot of people are welcoming this, even if they're not Catholic, they're listening. They're going, wow, this, you know, this is human, humanist. So when you're completing something with communication, it might just be that part of what you're completing. The reason I'm bringing up communication is because we are, we are finishing a lot with communication. But the reason why I'm bringing it up for you in particular to look for yourself is that you may be done with an old way of accepting or having or limiting yourself with communication. We've been living in a communication age for a long time. We're also living in an age of clairvoyance right now, which is seeing. So it's really difficult to, to miss seeing certain things these days, because you kind of can't get away with not seeing. And people do, they're still going to put their hands over their eyes and say, I can't see that. But everywhere you look, there are cameras. There are people seeing everything. It's very difficult to get away with anything, to get away with lies on any level. It will be recorded. You know, everything's recorded. And rather than being paranoid about that, I say, welcome it and go, yeah. Because nobody's going to get away with stuff. And it's really fun to watch people still thinking that when they send a digital trail, it's not, it's going to, nobody's going to, you know, it's going to be gone. And then they get caught with things, with being in a lie or doing something. So I would just say, go for it. You know, with the, with that level of kind of honesty or truth or actually being seen, have that within yourself. What if you no longer really get to ignore certain things? That you know are true or that you feel, or that you're trying to tell yourself, or you're trying to see your inner voice or your inner, your inner vision, all the rest of it. That's your spirit. And so when you're ending the old way of having access to those things, you know, there's an old ending or, you know, an old way of looking at it. You have a new beginning, a whole new way of perhaps welcoming, you and yourself, you know, your own truth and how you see things. You might also be done with certain things having to do with your emotions. Maybe you've, you've either not been able to validate them, or you've been around people who invalidate them or who kind of stuff their emotions and it's very difficult or emotions are not considered important. Maybe you're emotional and you've been around people who are like, you're too emotional. If you, if you're around people who are saying things like that to you, and yet you just know you are emotional, then don't hang around with them or tell them to shut up or something, or don't, don't worry about it. Don't take it in as being your truth. It might be that you're done with how you spend your energy or what you do with your energy. Your energy is a resource, your energy, meaning where you put yourself, what you're doing in the world, who you're giving yourself away to, who you're spending time with. You know, whether you're one of those people who needs to be able to do something, or needs to please people and constantly go and take care of people. And you've been telling yourself, I have to stop doing that. Perhaps now is your time. It's your moment to say, you know, I think I'm just done with that. I've given, I've really given to people. I want to kind of give to myself now. I have to pull my energy back from that. It doesn't mean you won't give. It's just that you're going to be more conscious about how you give. Are you also looking at things like your relationships? A lot of relationships came to an end this year. I noticed anyway, maybe because it's my job and I see lots of people who go through relationship breakups and, you know, big blowups in their relationships or changes on some level. But I see a lot of people finished with an old karma or they're done, or it's not necessarily true that one person was wrong and the other was right, or that it was good or bad. Just simply, they came to the end of a cycle. And then there's so many people who are going through that. And I see a lot of people who are going through that. And I see a lot of people who are going through that. And I see a lot of people who are going through that. And I see a lot of people who are going through that. And I see a lot of people who got married this year too, completing, you know, or beginning a new, you know, a new thing, a new cycle. So there's people completing, people beginning. It's just a really amazing time. It's kind of interesting. So look and see with endings, with endings from 2013, from the year, and all these things I'm going through, you know, how you communicate and your validation and your emotions, where you spend your energy, how you're doing things, and then relationships. Look, looking back over the year, just notice what you have personally done, what you have personally finished, or you're just at the tail end of it, you're done with it, or you went through. It's just a wonderful thing to validate that. Every single one of those experiences and every single one of those choices you made, it all came from something you as a being wanted to do. You wanted to get through this or learn it. Experience it. And it's wonderful. Even if you look back and go, why did I choose that? What did I do that to myself for? You could, you know, maybe be hard on yourself now, but later on go, yeah, you know, I realized what I learned from that. There was something, I grew, I changed. I actually really got something from that. And it could be that you're just happy as it can be, looking back on, yep, I was done with it. And I finished, walked away. I'm Chris Cahill and you're listening to Psychic Every Day at skidrowstudios.com. And we are real radio on the internet. This is my last show of 2013 and it is pre-recorded. So I'm sorry, I won't be giving readings tonight live. But it's also Christmas. So you're probably not listening right now. You're listening tomorrow. And I say, happy Christmas to you. Just want to let you know that I'm doing a show about endings and beginnings. And then starting in January 2014, I have a whole new show lineup coming. So this is a brand new show. It's just pre-recorded. We are looking at endings. Endings lead to new beginnings. Endings create space. Everything that completes, everything that you destroy, everything that ends makes room for something new. Everything new that comes along destroys what was. And that's not a negative. For example, when you were born, you came along and you destroyed your family the way it was, but it wasn't a bad thing. You just destroyed an old picture because all of a sudden here you were. And that was a good thing because now you're here. Yay, welcome. So now we have a new picture. We have a new reality. So when I look at endings, I don't see it as the bad or the negative. It can be sad sometimes when people that you love leave, you know, who pass away or who leave the picture. Somehow or other, it can be very sad and it can be heartbreaking, but there's still a new beginning. There's always something new that comes from that. And when you're looking back over a year and bringing your own energy back from the year, which is what we're going to do next, it makes it easier for you to have the energy you need to move forward, to go ahead and create what you want to create next. So that's pretty important. Whenever you complete something, the more of your energy you can bring back, you know, just like bring yourself back from that time. Sometimes it takes a little while. Sometimes there's a little bit of a period of just needing to adjust to something new, but bringing your energy back from that time makes it easier for you to have the energy you need to move forward. Because in order to create anything new, you need to have enough energy and you need to have enough space. And it's really a great thing to do. And I think that's what I'm going to do next. It's really a great thing when you're letting go and destroying something and bringing yourself into present time. It's really a great thing to look and see, well, where's all my energy been? Where have I been leaving it? And sometimes it's not until you really actually destroy something that you realize your energy was really caught in that thing. It might be when you leave a job, whether you get fired or get, you know, laid off or you, you know, you're in a relationship with someone and you're like, decide to quit or you go because you've got something else. You realize how much of your energy you freed up by doing that. I have a person in my life, one of my sisters who left a job this year that she had been in for a long time and very committed to and really loved for a long time until there was a big transition in the company and it became very corporate top heavy and kind of not fun anymore and really rough on the people there. And she kept having this other company come after her and saying, come on, we want you, but you're going to have to move all the way over here and you're going to, you know, and she finally did it. And it was wonderful. She's working for people who treat people like people humanly. And I just see now, and she talks about it, bringing her energy back from what was like just kind of you get programmed into believing this is how things are. And then it's when you go through the destruction and it can be one of the hardest things you've ever done because your energy is so intense. And it's when you go through the destruction and it's entrenched in it. And then you start to pull it back to you to where you're at now. And you realize, oh, I'm free now. I'm free of that. I'm no longer caught in that. And so when you look back on 2013 and what you freed yourself from, and it may not have been very dramatic at all. It could have been just something that, you know, you freed yourself from an old way of seeing yourself or a belief you had. You realize how much more energy you freed up. Now, you could also be ending the year feeling like you have just as much, just as many questions as you did going into it. And that's okay too. You're in the middle of a big change, a big transition. So what I would say to you is look and see if you're holding on to the past. If you have felt the need to really keep your energy in the old pictures, the people who are having the hardest time right now are really entrenched in the old way of doing things. And so I would say to you, look and see if you're holding on to the things that you're doing. If you're holding on to the things that you're doing, if you're holding on to the things that you're doing, if you're holding on to the things that you're doing, they're not coming into present time. They're not growing. They're not changing. They're afraid. They're afraid to let go of the pictures that were. And sometimes they get very angry about that. How dare you change my picture? This is my dream picture. I've had this picture for 40 years and I'm not letting go of it. And how dare you? You're a really bad person for taking my picture away. And it's kind of funny because it's not like any one of us is taking any picture away. It's that we are all in agreement. As a culture, as a planet, that there is a change happening. So the endings you had for 2013, when you look back, would you go ahead and give yourself permission to be grateful for every one of those endings? Whether you like them or not. Might be that some of the endings you're really not grateful for, they were painful. But see if you can be grateful for the people involved, you know, or for whatever it is that you, however you gracefully, grew. Even if an ending was incredibly tough for you, you still got to grow. And that can be, you know, it can be a hard thing sometimes. And it can also be a very wonderful thing where all of a sudden you realize, oh, hey, wait a minute. I'm actually stronger than I thought I was. So coming to the end of 2013, this was a year that really worked everybody. It was, you know, not that the past number of years haven't, but this one really has. And in wonderful ways too, because of the huge changes and the opportunities we have moving forward. One thing that helps when dealing with the past is to let it stay there. Remember, you can't change the past, but you can start right now to change the future. Yes, you can. Speaking of which, let's look at new beginnings. I've been talking about endings for most of this show. But remember, in every ending, there is a new beginning. You've done it many times. You already know that. In every new beginning, there's an ending. And when you look ahead at your coming year, and I'm saying like, stay away from all the resolutions about I'm going to go and get to the gym and work out at five in the morning, five days a week, starting tomorrow. Like, forget that. Do it if you want to. This is not what I'm getting into. It's not about the resolutions and the putting all the rules on yourself. Rules and regulations. Forget it. I'm looking at the pictures, the spirit, the energy, the new beginnings. So first and foremost, I want to say, if you haven't been dreaming about them or creating your pictures or your vision or imagining the positive, the things you want, what you really want to create, your dreams, start doing that. Not kidding. Vision boards exist for a reason. And so does Pinterest. And it's a lot about looking at pretty pictures, but a picture definitely says more than, you know, a thousand words. It says actually like millions of words. And everything begins with a picture. Well, everything begins with your spirit, but a picture is spirit too. An energy, a vision, a dream, something you imagine, you create. I like to do things like that. I like to do things like that. I like to do things like drive around Los Angeles and imagine what the streets would look like if they had really cool light rails running down the middle of them and everybody had solar panels on their houses and there weren't a million cars and people were walking and there was edible gardens everywhere. I actually did that driving down Sunset Boulevard the other night and I was like, wow, I really have a good imagination because look at it. It doesn't look anything like that right now, but it could. Hey, you know, why not? A girl can dream, can't she? So, you know, I have pictures about what things look like, not what they should look like, but how much fun it would be if we had a different way of living, a different way of living together and on this planet and with our environment. And so you have your own pictures too. And, you know, like you, I have the big ones and I also have the little ones, the ones that are closer to home that are me, how I see myself. And I'd like to say, you know, with you, start with that for yourself. You don't have to go right to the big picture and, you know, how you're going to change the planet with your vision. But everything begins with a vision and nothing happens without it. So you got to dare to dream the new vision, the new pictures. When you look at 2014, rather than thinking you have to know how you're going to create this, would you instead just visualize? Just take some time, take a few minutes. If you can do it every day, just give yourself a little bit of meditation time, a little bit of dreaming time. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start to dream. And then you can start communication within yourself and with others, within yourself and out in the world. Maybe as a creator, an artist, a performer, whatever you do, a business person, maybe what you're learning how to do is really step out and be seen more and be heard and speak out. So look and see, what are those pictures? It's not about what you think you have to do to get there. Don't get stuck up in that. That's you going into your mind, trying to solve it. This is seeing it without needing to solve it or figure it out or know where it's coming from. It's the vision, a new beginning, your pictures. You hear me talk about this a lot on this show, but I'm looking at it specifically for your new beginnings. 2014, what do you want to do? What do you want to do? What do you want to do? What do you want to do? How do you see it? What does 2014 look like to you when you look at the energy of it? And the energy meaning the overall feeling that you might have goals for the year that you really are, you know, they're dear to you. There are things you really want to complete in this next year. It feels good. Perhaps you're working on a vision of really feeling good within yourself. You might begin with a vision of health. Seeing health for yourself and your life, maybe for those around you. You might have a vision of happiness. I'll tell you, it was a vision of happiness that got me on my path to being a psychic. And that is no lie. Because it was when I started to wake up years and years ago and somebody said to me, one of my friends kind of exasperated because of something I was going through. I said, well, what do you want? I don't understand. And I said, I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. I just want to be happy. And I realized in that moment that I'd never thought of myself as being unhappy. I was always kind of feeling kind of happy, but that there was something that wasn't happy. And I wanted to figure that out. I wanted to make it happy. And it was me finding my spirit. I felt like something was missing. There's like another answer. There's something there. What is it? And I started following that. And it was just all the picture of, no, I just want to be happy. Oh, what makes me happy? Oh, it's me having that communication that makes me very happy. It's not out there. It's me in here. And for you, it might be another way you look at it, how you see it. It might be the same picture. It might be something similar. It might be completely different. But look at that. What's your vision for 2014? How do you see that? Is that important to you? What about a vision of peace? This is one of my favorite visions, creating a vision of peace. Because we do have the power to create that, even if it seems overwhelming sometimes that we have nonstop, you know, crazy wars and all kinds of nonsense here on this planet. Why not create a vision of peace and start within you, your own vision of that? Hey, happy new year. Here's my vision of peace. Right now, right on, you know, it's your own. Or harmony. What is harmony, but something that harmonizes? Maybe feeling that harmony within yourself, feeling it within your life, your relationships. Harmony doesn't mean you have to have everything perfect or that you have to go make everyone around you well, or try to solve all the problems. Harmony is being in harmony. And having peace also means that no matter what's happening around you, you can still choose that within. And what if those are some of your pictures moving forward? Okay. I'm Chris Cahill and you're listening to Psychic Everyday Radio on skidrowstudios.com. We are Real Radio on the internet. This is a special pre-recorded Christmas show, and I'm doing a show all about endings and beginnings. We are live streaming, even though I'm actually not live right now, so you won't be getting a reading from me tonight. But I welcome you to call back next Wednesday when I will be live. So there. So endings and beginnings, complete. Completing the old, finishing old cycles, starting something new. And when you release that old, you make the room for the new. And so what's the new? What is more of the new you want to bring to yourself this year? I've been working kind of the bigger pictures, the bigger sort of spiritual vibrations or energies. Now let's get a little more specific. What do you want for this coming year? Without getting all, you know, mean with yourself about what you have to have or what you should do, what do you want? And I'm going to pinpoint it a little bit. Rather than thinking you have to ask for this thing, X, in order to get Y, go right for Y. So what if, you know, like, for example, you're saying, well, I want to win the lottery. Well, okay, well, why do you want to win the lottery? Oh, because I want to be able to, you know, have enough money to do this. Well, how about if you just say you want to do this thing? Go right directly to the thing rather than thinking I have to go, you know, like create this whole deal where somehow this money comes to me so I can go do the thing. So in a new beginning, I'm going to say specifically, what do you want? And just go for that. And I invite you at this point in the show just to be still for a few minutes. Give yourself a few minutes, just kind of like in a little meditation space. You can close your eyes if you want. Just be comfortable. I mean, if you're driving, don't close your eyes, obviously. But I don't know. That would be weird of me to say that. But go ahead and have your meditation space or just a space where you can be at peace. And allow your attention to come back to you. And would you just notice the year, the year you're completing, and the year you're moving in? And that everything right in this moment is exactly perfect, just as it is. There's nothing wrong. It's all good right now. Nothing to solve. And would you keep breathing and notice your body, notice just where you are in present time, how your body is and what you're feeling. And would you imagine, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, the future, but imagine you're just starting to let it move forward to you. You're like letting it roll forward. And just your energy, nothing else, just you coming back. And you don't have to know how that, you know, where it's coming from. You don't have to really know where it got stuck or where you left it. You might, but just have the intention of you're bringing it back. Wherever your energy has been left behind. Now keep breathing and notice. It's no effort. You can just imagine this. You can play with it. And you might find you're caught in one month or another, one event or another, someplace where you're noticing, oh, I still have my energy there. I keep going to that place. So would you give yourself permission to let your energy come forward? Just give yourself permission to walk away from that energy and let it come forward. From that place so that you can be right here. Because this is where you need your energy in order to create anything new. And just notice that there's no effort. You can just simply allow it. Say, oh yeah, that's right. I was there. I'm going to come forward now. And I'm just imagining this kind of like you're sending a bubble back. You can do that like a, you know, like a big, beautiful golden bubble of energy and let it just collect you up. Sort of like a bubble. Like a little bubble taxi cab in air, you know, just sort of driving your energy forward to be with you here right now in present time. There's no effort. It's just, it's just playing. You're just imagining. And let yourself bring you all the way to where you are right here right now. And then just notice this. Say hello to your own energy as it comes back. Whenever you've been able to collect right now, you can always go back and do more later. But whatever you've been able to bring back now is the right amount. And then just notice that bubble and it's a very delicate bubble and let it kind of burst and let all that energy go right back to you. Your own energy. And notice that you're collecting yourself back. And notice how it feels. With no effort. Effort. No effort required. None. That won't work. When you work with energy, you just want to play. And then notice where you're at in present time, where you're sitting, how you're feeling. Where you are. And say hello to yourself and just start to really be back where you are in present time. And from that, you're going to be able to go back to where you are in present time. And then when you're back in place, notice if you've put your energy ahead of you into 2014 and just the different pictures you're creating and try to keep it with you right here. You don't need to put it ahead of you. Keep it with you where you're sitting in present time. But start to imagine and picture and visualize and create all those visions of the future, of what you want to create, what you're moving into. You may already be putting your energy into some of these things and manifesting. Whether you're working on a new level of becoming more you, more excellently you, whether it's your art, your creating, your business, your work, your relationships, your healing, your traveling, your expressing yourself, being in your truth, all of that. Perhaps a new level of waking up your consciousness. And so notice that bringing back your energy from 2013 really helps you when you start to move forward. Because sometimes we have a hard time moving forward when energy is still kind of tied up into old agreements or old ways of seeing that we're just really done with. It might have been too nice to walk away from it at some point, but no, I got to walk away from that now because I'm moving forward. And so moving into these new pictures, these new visions, these new visions, these new visions, these new ways of looking at yourself, this new way of doing business actually that you're doing, imagine it. So not just the bigger pictures, but as I was getting into it just a few minutes ago, the little ones. What is it you're working on having or creating or making real this year? Where do you want to spend your energy? If you think of your energy as a resource you spend every day, how do you want to spend it? How do you want to spend your energy this year? So when you become conscious about the fact that it is a resource and you are spending it, then you can become more conscious about how you do that. You know, choose it. Oh, I think I'd like to spend my energy working with people who actually are nice. I think I'd like to spend my energy being in relationships with people who are not a downer. Maybe work it from the positive. I'm sort of doing the, you know, different versions, but go ahead and work it from the positive. I want to have relationships with people who are growing and who are interested and who can have me doing the same thing. Maybe it's just that you're already in the middle of creating something and you're trying to get the nerve to take a step with it or to find your answers. How about if you give yourself a new picture for 2014 that you actually are really capable and confident and you do have your answers? What a great new beginning. You might already be in that place, but, just look at it. Give yourself another boost with it. So, new beginnings are on every level of your life. They really manifest in every level, on every level of you, but they start with your spirit, making a choice, seeing a picture, deciding something. And what if you decided for 2014 that one of your new beginnings is you're going to listen to yourself more and your own spirit? That's a great beginning. If it's something that you're going to do, something that you haven't been doing, I highly recommend it. Just like start to practice it. Give yourself that time. And if you're trying to figure out how to do that, meditate. Get yourself into a place where you can actually give yourself time to listen to you rather than to everything else out in the world. I have some great, really great books for your holiday reading list, just in case you were looking for something like this. But these are some of the books I've been reading that I absolutely love. I have a book called, I have a book called, I have a book called, I have a book called, I have a book called, I have a book called, I have a book called, I have a book called, that I absolutely love and that I've found incredibly helpful, especially when you're trying to get brave and create something new. And this is one of my favorites. It's on the video. It's called, The Icarus Deception by Seth Godin. And Seth Godin writes about business and marketing, but he is fun. He is a creative writer. And here's the back title or the back cover, what it says. Art is frightening. Art isn't pretty. Art isn't painting. Art isn't something you hang on the wall. Art is what we do when we're truly alive. And it goes on from there. So read this book. I have another one called, Ignore Everybody and 39 Other Keys to Creativity. But I see this as such a spiritual book because it's basically about saying, quit listening to what everyone else says. Do your work. Show up and do your work. And it's a lot of fun. This is written by a man named Huma Claude and he's got a site called gapingvoid.com. I really love his stuff. Lots and lots of fun. For those of you out there who have been, and I can't even tell you how many writers I've been reading lately. I know because I'm like writing a book. So I get to read a lot of writers. It's lots of fun. There's a wonderful book that is written by a writer and it's very famous, but I don't see this as just being about artists or writers. This is about anybody working on clearing through the energy of resistance and getting stuck in, oh, just being small, feeling like you can't, you know, it's not working. Um, for me. So I'm not going to, this book is called the war of art. Very famous written by Steven Pressfield. He's pretty brilliant. And he writes a lot about clearing out resistance, getting rid of the resistance or the voice that says, don't do it when you have to. It's wonderful. I just really love this book. I've read it like three times. One more. This is an oldie, but a goodie. This one's been around. I think this book was written originally in like the thirties. By a woman who is no longer in the body. She died in her nineties, like a good 10 years back. Brenda Uland. The book is called, if you want to write. This book is about spirit and life. I love this book. And she was a writer and she taught writers, subtitle, a book about art, independence and spirit. So this is your reading list. If you are these, my suggested reading anyway, if you are looking for some books to kind of help you take some steps with your endings, your beginnings, and you know, finding the nerve to do the things that you're looking at doing for 2014, because here's the key. We all need you. Everybody needs you to do your work. And it's not that you're responsible for the rest of us, but we all need each other to be doing our work. And if you're showing up doing yours, and that's not up to me, how it should be, you could do something completely different than me and have your own way of doing it, but it's you. That's your truth. Then you're giving to the whole world. You're giving to everybody else. If you're believing that you can't or that you're not enough or that there's something wrong or you can't make the beginning, then you won't contribute what you came here to contribute. And so I'm looking at 2014 as the year for each of us to step up and really take that step a little bit more contributing by being who we are. And that's what makes it fun. You get to just be you. And what if that means that you get to have more fun? From my perspective, it does, because that's how I do it. So I'm like, hey, go have more fun. It works. Thank you for listening. I'm at the end of a show. I'm Chris Cahill, Psychic Every Day at skidrowstudios.com. Happy Christmas. Happy New Year to you. And thank you for listening to my show.
