We had, you know, they were very cool over there.
All the instructors and very supportive.

Like, you know, I think it's like in the rock world, it's a little bit more, you know, less, less, there's less separation, I guess, between the sexes.

Because speaking of Rob Zombie, White Zombie, girls tend to be the bass player a lot.
You know, you don't see a lot of women guitar players.
One of the major reasons why I had to come back to Los Angeles was because when I was, where I grew up, all the guys wanted to put me on fucking bass.
And I boycotted playing bass for a long time.
And that was, that was when Smashing Pumpkins, White Zombie, like everybody had a female bass player.

I wanted to play guitar.
Like, it was bullshit.

Well, it wasn't really straight rock.

The Knitting Factory was the first show that I saw, which was years ago.
