someone who's from another country they're doing customer service and they're speaking to me about my problems my issues especially if we all know this is a mortgage issue and a housing issue but you know what I've actually talked about this before with other friends and stuff and I was saying but isn't it the company's fault here because everyone's outsourcing they're trying to save you know money a buck here and there right yeah yeah and we totally understand that but I'm not trying to buy you know like that movie I'm not trying to buy little toys and and junk and tchotchkes and stuff I'm dealing with my mortgage and my financial issues so I called crying you know and I'm like what do I do and they say okay just you know whatever the thing is it's hard for me to understand I know that's number one it's half the conversation what was that I didn't hear that I didn't understand I know one because of the accent and two because of I don't know maybe the connection because maybe it isn't a you know one I'm on a cell phone two it sounds like I don't know you're in another country or something but three there's no yeah there's no sense of a connection and I'm uh dealing with um you know am I losing my house and but there's that part of me in my brain keeping me in check like okay you know what I have a house yes I understand that and I'm dealing with this mass amount of money and having to make these payments and part of my brain is telling me the only reason you got this job is because you know you're willing to work for you know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know pennies or whatever the case is in that deal but I do feel but see but see that's an American I think that's American all these companies they're just they're like cheating us in a way yeah right it's right that's the main problem right that's what I think too and I feel bad almost getting mad at the people that you know those that right the customer service people because you feel so bad for them yeah but and they're dealing with a lot of shit but like I deal with customer service too and they get mad at me and I'm like yo woman I'm trying to help you I'm trying to help you you know you take care of your shit I'm trying to get you in the, you know, to see the doctor today.
I don't know.
But I think because it's a U.S.
housing crisis that the company should stay within the U.S.
for this kind of matter.
I think with most of the customer service matters, like they don't know what we're really dealing with over here.
Right?
Don't you think?
And you're like trying to explain, no, but this is what's happening over here.
And like, you just feel so bad.
And there's no identification.
And then, huh?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Then they have a fake name that they have to, you know, give.
You know, it's not real.
Yeah.
And I'm like, man, I can't.
And I was like, I got to make this payment.
Am I going to lose my house?
No, ma'am.
Just make this one payment.
What ended up happening was the woman that I called, I was able to make a payment on the phone in February.
And she said, you just need to make this payment and you're OK.
And then, you know, carry on and just make sure you remember to make your other payments.
Well, when I went to go make my other payment on the phone the other day last week, he said, oh, no, it's too late.
You're past this day and you can't do it on the phone anymore.
You had to go to Western Union.
And so I was frustrated and having to get all these directions.
OK, you need to tell me and over and over spending an hour.
So I get anxiety.
Talk thinking about talking to these people in India and stuff.
And I got some wrong information.
So I was going to have to go back and wait a few days before I got to Western Union.
I called yesterday morning and, you know, just to get the instructions.
And I spoke to a woman from the south and I was like, oh, my God.
Hallelujah.
Thank you.
And I was like, she could identify with me and she was able to help me a little bit more.
And she said that she gets many complaints that that they want someone from the States.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And is it bad for me to ask someone?
I know.
I know.
I know.
And I feel bad asking you.
I feel the same way.
I'm like, I don't want to say.
Yeah.
So they're doing their job.
I know.
I know you deal with a lot with that, too.
Yeah.
Within your own.
Right.
Yeah.
It's got some servers and stuff.
I know.
So I know.
I know.
We're going off topic with.
Well, well, well, how did it go with the female condoms?
I heard you were having a meeting about that.
Oh, yeah.
Well, callers, if you if you ever tried a female condom, please call and, you know, give us your opinion on that.
We're supposed to have assignment and we're going to use.
I didn't get to find one.
I started my cycle.
So did I.
We're in sync.
Well, OK, so we're going to have to do it for next week.
I couldn't find them.
They're not at they're not at Wal-Mart, but the female condoms are sold at Walgreens.
I had to find out.
So I heard they're about three per pack, probably about four dollars or something.
So, you know, get on it Saturday.
And then there's this female condoms awareness campaign going on.
There was this meeting today.
I wasn't a part of the meeting, which is weird how you talk about four hours about a meeting about going to have a campaign campaign.
But the campaign they're planning.
They're planning on doing it in the fall, which I think is a long time to prepare for a campaign.
Yeah.
To say that these condoms are still around.
Yeah.
So, wow.
I mean, that's that's it.
It's just this, you know, it's kind of be like a campaign.
And, you know, the people who are trying to prevent AIDS are in on it.
And, you know, just pushing more awareness for another way route versus just the male condom.
I'm guessing.
Yeah.
Right.
I guess to have female in control.
I don't know.
Like, do we put that?
I'm excited.
I'm excited about experimenting with it because it's like what you put it in.
Is it like the, you know, the sponge or the cream or something?
Right beforehand.
You could plan ahead and.
Yeah.
Just kind of wear it hanging out a little bit.
Yeah.
So, you know, any listeners out there, you know, actually, this is a good idea.
If there's any female listeners or male listeners and you have a woman, how about we set an assignment for everybody is get a female condom.
And that's you.
Yeah.
You two behind the window.
Everybody listening.
Yeah.
Including in studio.
In house.
In house females.
Let's all.
I'm curious if anyone's actually tried it already and their opinion on it.
Yeah.
Feel free to call and talk about it.
I'm curious before I get going on it.
My own experimentation.
That would be great.
And let's see.
OK.
But how about.
You never.
Yeah.
What?
No, you just don't see like.
I know the male condom is really popular also in like the porn world and stuff.
We just don't see that ever.
Ever.
What?
The female condom?
The female condom never makes an appearance in that.
I don't know.
No?
No.
And I mean, not in my experience.
Not in your experience of watching?
Of watching.
Yeah.
Did you want porn?
I know that's a big porn in relationships.
Yeah.
I'm just curious, like everyone's viewpoint on that, too.
Like if you go from a single, you know, single person to like in a relationship and you do, you know, watch a little porn or have like your little interests and stuff.
Do you tend to share that with your.
New person you're in?
Do you just like stop talking about it?
You just hide it?
Or tell them when you start dating?
I'm just curious about how, you know, people are comfortable with it or not.
I don't know.
About letting your new lover know that you're into watching it?
Yeah.
Like, how freaky are you and like, how comfortable are you, you know, sharing that with somebody else?
Do you start talking about it right away after you become intimate and making out?
Like, oh, because I.
Hey, and this might come up into the subject of like slut.
Like, you don't want to come off as, you know, too promiscuous if you start talking about it.
Right.
That's what I'm saying.
Is it bad?
Is it viewed as bad to most women or guys?
So, you know, I don't know.
I don't watch.
I don't watch.
You don't watch any?
I can't.
I have a photographic memory.
So I'm curious.
That's another thing, too.
Like, like girls who don't watch it versus girls who do.
Like, is it just level of comfort?
You?
You do?
Yeah, I do.
I didn't know that.
You never told me this.
We're best friends.
And she never told me she watched porn.
I'm just curious.
What's up with that?
But I'm curious.
Like, why?
Like, why?
Why I don't?
Yeah.
Like, here we have two opposites here.
Like, why?
What makes you not?
And with my sexuality, I still keep it personal.
But I think also.
Do you think it kind of takes away then?
Like watching it?
You know what?
Okay.
Okay.
I was very.
I kept everything repressed.
I didn't, you know, express myself sexually and stuff.
And as far as masturbation, I didn't know about that until I was in the.
Adult.
And the thing is, I have a photographic memory.
And the first time when I was in the army, I walked into a room and these guys, I don't know what the hell it is, but guys like to hang out and just have porn on.
They're having a party and they have porn on.
And the thing is, I could still remember the image in my head.
Okay.
One party was in Alabama.
I come in there and they have porn in the background.
I'm like, no.
And I'm screaming.
I can't watch that.
And it was this man masturbating this chick on the street.
And I'm in this chair and I have the image in my head just talking about it.
I'm like, no.
And I was just like, I can't watch that.
It's not.
So it's uncomfortable then?
Well, think about it.
I'm in a public place.
I can't.
I can't watch that.
Okay.
But maybe.
Okay.
By yourself.
But the thing is, the image stays in my head.
So now you're thinking if you were to watch it, you're like in a group setting?
No.
If I'm going to be.
No, no.
I just.
I can't.
Yeah.
And the other time was in another room somewhere else.
It was these cheerleaders.
I walk into the room and there you have something on with these cheerleaders.
And they're just taking off their clothes.
No, no.
I can't.
I don't know.
It's just like private.
You know, the only thing that I've actually watched was, remember at your house?
Was it your house?
My house?
I don't know.
Tell me.
Oh, so.
I'm sorry.
No, go for it.
The girl that lived across the street.
Okay.
Remember at that party?
They had the Pamela Anderson.
Oh, yeah.
So I've only watched.
I remember that now.
Okay.
Okay.
I'll admit this.
I haven't watched.
I can't watch a full porn and get into it or anything relationship wise.
Never did with the relationship.
But the only times I watched the full porn were the celebrity ones.
And in public with everybody else.
No, no, no.
Okay.
I'll take that back.
It was watch the Pamela Anderson with all you guys and everybody was watching it.
But that wasn't really porn.
That was a relationship of people in love and they were doing naughty things.
But I mean, it was cute.
And they're like, oh, we love each other.
And then the other thing was to watch the, who's the other blonde girl?
The skinny blonde girl.
There's so many.
The skinny blonde one.
Paris?
Yeah.
Paris Hilton.
I watched that because I found a copy.
If we have any callers, actually, we'll do a giveaway.
And 1-800-893-9562.
I'll give you the copy that I got of One Night in Paris.
If anyone's interested in that.
Come share your stories.
Either one night in Paris.
Some that you've watched or any that you've made.
Yeah.
So I found a copy of that for $1.
So I bought it.
And I thought like, hey, let's watch this.
And I did watch that with my love out of curiosity and stuff.
So that was funny.
Did you watch it?
I've seen bits and pieces.
It kind of got boring.
Yeah.
It was very boring.
It wasn't as cute as the Tommy Lee.
Yeah, that was fun.
That was cute.
That was cute.
Yeah.
But my point is, I don't know.
I think I'm scared.
And I have these images in my head.
And when I'm doing it, when I'm messing around, I have other things.
I have other things going on in my head.
You think of those things?
Really?
It might.
And I don't want some other girl's boobs in my head when I'm.
I don't.
See, and I'm not that way.
I'll watch it.
It gives you ideas or stuff.
But I'm not thinking of that moment or them doing it.
But the thing is, my mind thinks in pictures.
So I'll have other pictures.
Now that we're talking about this, actually, I don't know if this is considered porn, but it probably is for a lot of 80s porn people.
What?
Yeah.
What do you?
I don't think you'll guess what band if we had any colors that I don't know which band had a 80 night version of porn video.
I can't think that I would actually watch.
I'm thinking 80s bands.
I'm thinking.
Okay.
There's a there's a scene.
Yeah, you're right.
Girls on film.
Yeah.
Let's play a little girls on film if we had the song.
But next week.
Yeah.
There's like that scene with the with Ice Cube and the nipples.
No, you never watched it.
I don't remember.
I didn't learn to do.
Yeah, I was like the night version.
And they got the mud wrestlers and the girls, the girls on the on the which is funny because my my sexuality wasn't like that.
But here I was like, 1314.
No.
Yeah.
For what?
When I was in high school, 14 watching girls on film, the night version of like, these girls wrestling and and being on lollipops and Yeah.
I just wanted to be there.
That's as far.
Okay.
So then how about if your significant other would want to watch them?
Would you be opposed to it?
Yeah, we watched the Paris Hilton one.
No, alone.
What if you didn't feel like, um, because if you're not into it, Oh, you mean that be a problem?
You mean, would I be weird if I knew he watched?
Yeah.
Like a secret stash.
I think I might be.
Yeah.
A little bit of jealousy or what would it be just uncomfortable.
He's looking at somebody else.
I think.
yeah maybe what are you trying to like i'm just curious my soul no um because i've heard that from other girls i've heard that um with um married girls talking about you know no there's no way why would he be looking at porn there's no need to and i kind of get their viewpoint because you're married why are you looking at other girls and i could see like facets of that but to me i'm like i don't know just a movie unless then i kind of drew a line wait a minute wait a minute because it can get out of hand because now they have those avn awards and you can go meet the porn stars and you see guys that go do that i'm like what the hell now that's crazy on screen yeah on screen that's fine but if you're gonna make effort to go meet the person oh because i've seen your i've seen your hole and uh you know you know what i mean yeah that's weird right um i think probably other women might think it too like well if he's gonna watch porn i'd rather him watch it with me right but you know i guess it's comfortability of relationship and how long you've been with each other and whatnot but with my ex i didn't never came up we never talked about it never but guys by nature are like visual you know what i mean i don't know i think so maybe right auditory i oh oh do you have her on the line is it 9 20 exactly huh yeah it's cool oh is this a call is this a caller hello there yeah hey your name hi my name is ray ray um can you lower your yeah can you lower the volume of your of your computer yeah i did hello okay okay yeah hi how's it going hi did you want to win a prize yeah i'm down what do you guys got wait so what is your name ray yeah cool and what's your question well just for some i'm listening to what is it like sex talk right right yeah it's kind of like a sexy time talk uh kind of a female love line uh dating a little bit a little bit of that whatnot that's cool well okay i pretty much know but i just wanted to ask like when it does uh come to like uh you know sexy time like what do most girls like to listen to like listen to music wise well you know getting it on music preferences i personally i always put like the patch mode or the smiths and um you know what with me um i know a lot of music if there's anything with words i think it'll distract me really i might sing along really what yeah but you know what one time i had a very um it was great where radiohead because there was no lyrics but it was really fun with oh yeah yeah no i'm okay with like smashing pumpkins and it's crazy i don't know why especially because it starts off like i'm listening to it and then you kind of like i don't know you don't hear the words anymore it's kind of like this background noise yeah the passion was fine for me too yeah i don't have any issues with that oh i i've noticed radiohead i think that's all instrumental instrumental yeah radiohead kira is pretty good a lot of instrumental stuff huh now ray all right do you feel like you need music to do music for you i don't know if you're going to do music for me i don't know if you're going to do music for me i don't know if you're going to do music for me because you're trying to like drown out the sound that you make because of your roommates oh no i just enjoy it i just enjoy like the music does it distract you or is it something that distracts you in a good way like you last longer or no like in a way and like in a good way it's just like it's like the soundtrack for making love oh are you in are you in a relationship right now i'm not gonna in a relationship no i'm not oh i'm actually no i'm actually just uh dating here and there and looking yeah oh this is cool i like this i like this uh this program i was actually listening to piñata earlier uh-huh oh cool cool thanks for listening yeah well just just to let you know we are nurses and and we like to date and and be helpful that's cool did you want to be the winner of my edition of one night in paris yeah for sure why not okay um how do we do that to send prizes um i think we'll put you back on yeah i'll get his contact information and i'll make that happen okay and yeah and i'll and then i'll give it and then we'll send that out to you okay ray cool cool and thank you for calling all right thanks all right bye okay cool thanks for calling ray ray from california um he'll get the copy so that's pretty cool though music yeah i don't know that doesn't affect me words yeah i don't know i all i know was radiohead we played it once i was like oh my god i was so like hi it was the idiot tech song oh yeah i know yeah i was like i love this song and there was no words i don't sing along no see i can get into music like if it's like you know it has like this like a sexual innuendo and stuff that totally will get me into it too you do what i'm fine with it i did uh i'm glad is that what it is okay i'm glad rake actually talked about that it was funny um one point in time i remember making a like a sexy cd sexy time and i had samantha fox on it i had tina marie i actually have a sexy song cd mix thing oh my gosh you need to bring that yeah that could probably be a prize a prize for the future ray um and or outro music okay um we're gonna have our caller hold on let me yeah oh hold on oh let me just speed this up oh that girl thinks she's a queen i'm the neighborhood i got news for you she is they call her a slut but i know she is my best friend okay she on the caller can you hear me yeah is this olga yeah hi hi this is charlene hi i was at chelsea here with me from slot walk too oh cool um hi can you hear us yeah okay um i'm with the another we're both nurses and we just started this new program sexy time talk it's uh kind of a feminist love line um i'd like you guys to talk about the slut while the slut walk and the slut rock so i guess start off with what is slut walk well lock it actually started um last year um it started in toronto um and it's basically just a protest movement um fighting to stop victim bullying and i think it's a really good way to football football football football flat walk la um in april of last year so it's coming on almost a year now um we had our first event in june and um right now we're gonna have a benefit on saturday um for our next walk um and it's gonna have a couple bands and some tattoo artists to be really cool cool what what was the tattoo gonna be is it a i know i think i've heard people being very curious about the tattoo yeah um we actually um have a few designs that the tattoo artists already like decided upon um and they're gonna be pretty small but they're gonna be twenty dollars each and some of the proceeds are going to the walk and the artists are open to doing um different tattoo designs so if anyone has any other suggestions or anything like that they're open to it oh for a small bit more but cool um as far as the funds that go i know uh slut rock is a benefit for slut walk what is it is like a case of like having permits like as far as funds usually for to for a city it usually goes around two thousand dollars and so it's a pretty steep price for us when we come showing up with basically nothing so we need to raise all the money that we can to make you know a successful event mm-hmm i heard like last year they couldn't have a like a music performance yeah we actually had a band that was ready to go and then last minute the city said we had to cut it and so it was pretty devastating yeah actually i was i was in that in the band that was supposed to do that so we were all dang but you're on this right we're sorry about that no no but this is slut rock which is different it's so this is going to be a music event to promote slut walk okay okay which is good um how was the turnout with the slut walk like um the one last year um i believe we had a little bit over 1500 people which i mean we were so excited about because we were going to be happy it was like 200 you know so everyone was really enthused about it and so were we it was really cool do you guys sorry okay go ahead do you feel do you feel because i am one of like a person that felt that the word slut was a negative you know word and um um because i i have read where it's trying to like empower the word slut do you feel that that's a possible thing or it's because i know i know it's a an issue of um you know sexual harassment rape it has nothing to do with what you're wearing and your your issues with uh your sexuality but to actually to say we want to empower the word slut i don't know personally i think that taking back the word slut it's it's very upon each person because i mean like you i still have trouble with the word too i still kind of get offended when i hear it but um you know if it empowers someone if someone can take that back that word and use it to empower themselves then you know what more power to them i mean but i agree with you i kind of still have problems with it too i think it's something that each person needs to decide upon themselves right yeah because i've seen some of the images where um um like let's say a woman was wearing because i know it was the whole thing about the cop made the comment right i remember that where where he said he said something women should stop dressing like sluts in order to not get raped was it that right right he made a comment on a girl who did get right attacked rape no because it was having a lot of attacks right and then over there yeah yeah um but what what i like right now is sometimes they have images of like at the slut walks or somewhere and the woman's wearing a full thing of clothing and it was like i was wearing this when i was attacked and you know it has nothing to do with what you're wearing which is uh powerful yeah very powerful i think a lot of girls can relate to that and they've kind of got the you know crappy remarks and you know from guys and no matter what you're wearing you could be fully clothed and you still get nasty remarks thrown at you exactly yeah um i hope it's working what is the um the tentative date for the slut walk this year we're still working on that we want we're aiming for early to mid-june somewhere out around the same time that we had it last year um we need to work it out with the city that we're planning with still so when we do find out we will probably post that everywhere we possibly can so cool and then the whole thing with like people speakers and like uh all that kind of stuff goodies oh speakers um we're still looking around i mean we're taking we take any suggestions from anyone because i mean this is a community event we want la people to be involved as much as possible awesome yeah that's cool yeah um i'm glad you guys uh you let us call you for today we just wanted to you know promote that oh for slut walk rock um slut rock i'll talk a little bit more about that i'll and i know you're going to be doing a lot of stuff with us so i'm going to talk a little bit more about that i'll and i know you're going to be doing a lot of stuff with us so you guys are probably busy right now um i'll look up the event and we're going to post it up on the skid row studios for the event for slut rock thank you and um and i'm actually glad to be meeting you guys on saturday so please talk to me okay because it's kind of hard to recognize people with their little facebook photos and kind of remember so please talk to me when i meet you on saturday and um and i hope to have you guys on the show in person this is you know in downtown and for skid row studios yeah that'd be cool especially for um slut walk huh yeah so then we could talk yeah we could talk more about slut walk too so um anything else that you wanted to comment on or any opinion no just thank you for having us cool awesome all right thanks for calling see you saturday see you guys okay bye cool so uh so that's a saturday then right yes um it's gonna be in uh at beauty is pain and silver lake it's kind of um on hoover it's not the it's not the fancy schmancy silver lake it's right off the freeway up the 101 but at least it's right off the 101 so you're gonna be playing then right yeah nice i'm gonna be giving away my identity no you'll be there i'll be there no actually uh a band that i'm in will be performing in the future so i'm gonna be performing in the future we play first uh it's called anatomi and um i'll just should i talk about my band a little bit why not okay so um my band anatomi is going to be playing sloppy jane las cochinas and the bitch fits which is a female misfits uh tribute band that's cool and um okay so it's going to be at beauty is pain 650 north hoover street melrose why does it say melrose oh the cross streets melrose we'll be posting up the uh hopefully we could post the event on the skid row page um and it's all ages so if you have any cool teenager um you know family members bring them in and um i'm actually going to be playing first so for people who um you know whatever have to work the next day i can get their butts there ma'am and um at nine o'clock so my band is called anatomi it's a two piece with my lover and he's the drummer and um uh that'll be a that's a good topic to talk about too being in a band with your in a relationship but um working and playing together yeah but um you know it's kind of like a dancey punk uh music we haven't made a good demo yet we got to work on that but um it's all learning process of writing with someone and me learning how to write it's uh it's you were still a new band and you just started writing songs and um that's pretty cool that you guys can do that together though because i don't think i could what the whole work together play together thing oh with your relationship person um well we actually were in a band um after being together for a year and a half so we didn't start off i know other couples that they got together right away and they started making um music they started being in bands or like some people were um in a band first and then they started making music and then they started making songs and football football football football football football football football football you're making music with.
That'd be cool if you call us in.
But actually it works.
He's very supportive.
He likes the guitar and I'm new at guitar and writing songs and he's supportive of it and he's such a good drummer.
So when I come up with stuff, we come up, we create.
And what's neat is, okay, so some of our songs will come up with a drum beat and I'll come up with the idea with the guitar.
But I only could get the, like the hook or the verse, the first verse.
And then I can't come up with a change and I keep getting stuck and I'm like, hold on, hold on.
And I need personal time to come up with a change or come up with lyrics.
I'll come up with a melody, that first part, because with me, with my writing, I need to figure out what chords I'm doing in order to do changes and stuff.
So it's cute.
So I'll be like, okay, I'm going to work on this and I'll set it aside.
We record that, whatever that idea was.
I write down the chords and I'm like, okay, I'm going to work on this and then I'll work on it by myself.
And the next time I'll present it and like, okay, this is my other changes.
And then he might not be able to come up with a drum beat right away for changes then.
So then I'll tell him, okay, like if we're watching TV or if he's doing something, then I'll just practice on my own, let him listen to it and flow through his brain so he could have drum ideas flow through his brain while I'm practicing.
So that's kind of works out.
Yeah, it works.
For you guys, yeah.
Yeah.
And then as far as lyrics, like I'm kind of, I'm not poetic in a sense, like very poetic.
I'm kind of straightforward.
And I think because I've been influenced with Bikini Kill, a lot of the girl bands and I...
Like the just say it type of music?
Yeah, just say it, but not very poetic, but no, also my topics.
And I think because of nursing and customer service and stuff, you know, you end up talking about that, whether stuff or like, you know, talking about pregnancy and talking about babies and...
But that kind of is music though, right?
You're talking about your life experiences, what you know.
So you're doing that.
Well, what someone had told me, I have one song, we call it Jealousy.
And I was just straight up talking about jealousy and how...
Excuse me.
I haven't really got it.
This guy, he heard us and he goes, your music's happy.
Wait.
What you're singing about isn't happy, but it was funny.
It was cute.
So this song's about jealousy and my feelings, and I know I feel wrong for feeling jealous, but I am.
And I'm just saying go away.
Like I want this feeling to go away, but I have it.
And in a way I'm singing to someone else and it's like, you know, everything's cool.
Everything's okay.
Just stay away from my wedding day because it's like I'm singing to like, you know, some other girl, you know, and just like...
Do you think you've always been like a jealous person then?
With like every relationship that's...
No, I never...
I didn't deal with that before.
No?
You?
I don't think I'm jealous.
I have a streak.
I have...
Really?
I do, but...
I've always been like...
I didn't have to deal with it before.
I don't know.
I've never like been the type to like fight for the...
Not...
That's the wrong word.
It's not fight for the attention.
Or fight.
I never wanted to beat somebody up.
No, no.
It's just like, I don't know.
I just...
I don't know.
I just don't tend to like, you know, worry or get jealous.
Unless there's obviously something happened.
Yeah.
And I'm pissed off, obviously.
I don't know.
Yeah.
Well, what about exes?
What about exes?
If I'm jealous of them?
No, not jealous, but there's this sense of something.
You're not jealous of them, but that feeling like you don't...
Like the ex-girlfriend.
Remember with the one like...
You could have totally beat her up.
The one who was chasing you.
Oh, that just gets me pissed off.
I wanted to like...
You know, murder.
Yeah.
Yeah, hurt somebody.
Yeah, you know, you need to stay away.
But see, it doesn't become a jealous thing anymore.
It becomes like a pissed off.
Not jealous.
You know what I mean?
It goes to like a different level.
I don't know how to explain that, I guess.
But if he was...
Okay, what if he was friends with her?
Do you want...
Do you feel weird if you're...
No, I was actually okay with...
Which now I've changed my mind.
I was okay with whoever I was with to have friends that were female.
Uh-huh.
In previous relationships.
You didn't...
Oh.
I was okay with that.
You didn't think...
Now, my mindset is definitely different because of things that have happened.
Oh, that you don't want...
Yeah, I'm not okay with it.
Unless you were friends with that person before.
Mm-hmm.
But I'm not about you making new friends now when you're with me.
Yeah, especially at a certain age.
You know, it's hard to make new friends as an adult.
But why...
Yeah, like, you know, whoever you're with, why would you, that guy, be making new girlfriends to hang out with?
It doesn't make sense.
Yeah, it's different.
Right?
This doesn't...
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different.
Yeah.
It just doesn't.
Like, if you've had a lifelong friend from, like, high school or something like that, fine, or, you know, since you were little, then that's different.
But as long as I'm around, I guess that's fine.
I don't know.
I don't just...
I don't think I get jealous.
Liar.
I'm serious.
I don't...
I really don't think so.
I had an example.
Seriously, this weekend, like, we were at a festival and stuff, and we ran into, like, an old friend.
I don't know.
I don't know if it was a, like, girlfriend, friend, or whatever.
And, you know, like, she walked over, started saying hi, and I was like, I don't want to stick around and, like, have to make small talk and stuff like that, you know?
So I kind of just, like, started wandering off.
He came and found me a couple minutes later.
He's like, why'd you leave?
I'm like, well, I don't want to be just, you know, hanging out and just pretending I'm kind of listening and nodding my head with, you know, while they're going over, like, their past life.
So I just went, like, I don't know.
I just kind of, like, wandered off.
I said, as I told him, I trust you.
I'm like, I don't have to stand around and, like, listen to the whole conversation.
But that was a friend of an old friend.
It was, like, an old friend.
It was a girl, yeah.
Oh, and they're like, so, what do you think?
I haven't seen you in forever, you know?
So it didn't bother me, though.
I'm weird about it.
So you would stick around?
Yeah.
I'm just kidding.
No, I'll talk, and I'll, I might, but I noticed I get a little jealous here and there.
One girl, like, she was a fan, and he was, it was cute, and he was talking to her, and he gave her a CD, and she gave him a hug, and she wasn't, like, all into him, but at the same time, like, I was watching, just kind of, I was smiling, but I was still keeping my check, you know?
Like that, and it's cute, and it's funny, because I feel that little way, and then we talked about it, because he feels that way a little bit, too, here and there, like, when someone's talking to me, and a guy, and I see him in the background, and, you know, he hesitates for a second, but he's cool, you know?
Like, oh, she loves me, you know?
And the same thing, it's like, oh, you know?
Hmm, see, I wonder if that's the norm for most girls, the jealousy.
Am I not normal?
Yeah, well, because you want to be cool about it.
Like, I'm cool, I'm cool, I'm not jealous.
So when we're all talking about this, about my band is, so I'll talk about these issues that I deal with, and I think a lot of female musicians might talk about whatever issues they're going through.
So that was one song, dealing with my, like, yes, I'm admitting, I do have, I do have jealousy feelings, but I know it's not totally right.
It's cool if it goes away.
So in my songs, I admit, this is my issue, and it might not be this or that, and, you know, I go back and forth with dialogue with lyrics, and I am not very extensive with lyrics either, so that's on that case.
I'm dealing with, we just wrote this new song, and I love it, it's cool and changes, and I don't know why I started singing about this family that we knew, and they dealt with a lot of, sexual abuse from the parent.
It was like a whole family that was affected, and it was weird, because me being like neighbors, I was affected in a sense.
Yeah.
Knowing that, and knowing them all our lives, so it's like, I can't believe I'm writing a song about this, but it was because I was just kind of thinking about it, and it sounded cool for this lyric idea, but I'm trying to write it in a way where it's honest, but it doesn't make me cry.
It literally, it's like a little bit, because I still like, I don't want to think too much about it, because that whole family's fucked up, because of that guy, because of that dad, and you know, that whole thing, but that's with that music.
Anyways, again, this is Skid Row Studios.
This is Sexy Time Talk.
We're talking about dating, relationships, and whatnot.
If you want to call in, call us, call us, call us.
Yeah, 1-800-893-9562.
I think we've been going over a lot of topics and stuff.
What did you want to, you were talking about porn in the relationship a little earlier, right?
Was that a little bit before we got relationship?
No, that's what I was talking about.
Yeah, it was like jealousy.
It all goes into the same thing, too.
The whole jealousy thing.
Oh, right.
If I'm comfortable about it, yeah.
Porn in the thing.
Oh, yeah, that's right, because it was the Paris Hilton things.
Yeah, I, yeah, yeah, the whole thing.
You, you don't have a problem with watching?
No.
Do you watch it with, in your relationship?
No.
In this current, I have, I have in this current one.
I'm thinking back.
I'm like, yeah, I have.
With your last one?
Yeah, yeah.
I, oh, well, I gotta tend to that later.
You, yeah, it doesn't.
Is it an often thing?
No, it's not often.
Just once in a while.
It's like once in a while, like if, I don't know, something different, just want to mix things up.
I had a friend who, and it was funny, she said they bought a projector, to, so they could watch porn, like on the ceiling, or on the wall, like on a projector, on a big thing.
And I go, oh, that sounds kind of cool.
Like, I guess that's their sexy time.
Yeah.
Is to, to do that.
Like that, like if you're in a good, solid relationship, and you love each other, I, I definitely, if it was a new relationship, I couldn't handle going over all this stuff.
Because it's securities.
But I think I could see going in a long haul.
Well, there's all those classics you gotta check out, right?
And everyone's kind of curious about, like, you know, Debbie Does The Album, and, Did you watch that?
Yeah.
You seen it?
Was it funny?
Yeah, it was pretty funny.
What's the other one?
Yeah, see, I'm down with that, because I could watch, like, with Playboy, you know?
I'm not, I don't want to watch nothing.
And I hated when men watched, watched, not watched, looked at Hustler.
Like, what the hell is this?
You know?
But, you know, even Playboy, I don't really want to look at it.
But, a gift that I gave to my love, because it was a 1963 Playboy, Playboy, so, totally, you know, have their underwears on, and everything like that.
But, I gave it to him, because it had a, like, one of the first American Beatles interviews in it.
So, I was cool.
You gave it to him for the articles.
Yes.
I was very cool with giving him this Playboy, because it had this Beatles article in it.
And he loved it.
It was like, oh, you know, I gave him a Playboy, but he was like, yeah, you can watch this.
This is a Playboy from 1963.
It's cool.
You know?
And I've, I've looked through the Madonna one, you know, and stuff like that.
And I didn't know there was something vintage about it.
I guess it's less threatening to me, and, and less jealousy for me to, you know, deal with that.
Oh, oh, what were you talking about?
Secret stash and catching your, Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
If you walked in, you found him watching his, like, secret stash.
And then, what if the secret stash was nothing like you?
Mmm.
What if it's like all Asian?
Like a blonde.
All Asian.
No.
You never know.
No.
No.
What would happen?
Little girls.
Yeah.
That would make you uncomfortable.
Yeah, I would get upset.
And I think it would be, I'd be like, why are you with me?
Yeah, it'd be in my brain a lot.
You know what made me think when you said that about catching them and this and that?
Yeah.
See, I'd rather be told, right?
A long time ago, I, like, I found, um, pictures of, this is an army.
You're seeing this with the ugly face?
Yeah.
Pictures?
Yeah.
For everyone, I'm listening.
My face is upset right now.
I was very upset.
I found pictures of, and he wasn't the only one because this was a military in the army, right?
And when guys are stationed in the, okay, they have their regular stations in the military wherever.
I was in Germany.
But sometimes, they go off on duty to somewhere else, whether it's Iraq or Hungary and whatever the case is.
And they're away on these things in Hungary with the, the platoon or whatever the, whatever it is.
They get to go on an R&R.
They set up these trips.
So they set up the trip to the Budapest with these platoons.
The female soldiers do whatever they do and they go on their own.
But they set up these things and they take all the male soldiers to whatever strip club, the whorehouses.
Right.
And, like, it sounds like weird.
Like, what?
That's nom.
You know, that's like 70s.
But no, they still do it.
Yeah.
And I found a stash of pictures and he was all of, at a strip club.
And it was weird.
I don't think that would fly in the U.S.
where you could take a camera.
No.
And there was camera.
He had all these pictures of the strippers and it was just all, and then there was pictures with him in it with the strippers.
And I was like, This is someone you were dating.
Yeah.
This, this was, yeah.
And I was just like, it was, you know, I think we were together with like a month or a couple months.
Yeah.
That's, yeah.
Because, it was already a couple months, you know, and I found the pictures and I was like, like gasp.
What is this?
And I, I shamed him.
Like, I didn't try to, like, I didn't blow up.
I was like, why do you have these?
Like, that's wrong.
Like, and the look on his face was like shame.
And he was, and I don't know, is that, was that bad of me to shame him for having that?
No.
Wait, wait, why does he need to keep this for memories?
Like, oh, this is me and my bros hanging out with.
It goes back to the whole thing I was saying, like guys are visual.
I think they want to see that even though they've seen it.
I always say, for me, I'm like, I'm okay.
Like your memories in your head, right?
But I think for the guy, you actually want to see an actual object or a picture, you know, something.
Yeah.
A photo to remember.
Yeah.
But the thing, the feeling, that's not me.
Why do you have this?
I think that's just the difference between the guy and the girl.
To me, I'm like, why are you still keeping this?
I understand where you're coming from.
For the guy, it's like perfectly fine.
Yeah.
It was just like, a girl, a random girl.
It's not like it's an ex.
Any men with a comment on that, you could comment.
I know, right?
We're all wrong.
I don't know.
Yeah, she looked different.
I was like, that guy had it.
He, you know, I don't know what the fuck was when I was young.
Yeah, I think from the girl point of view, like you just kind of go like, why do you have that?
Because she looks nothing like me.
Right.
That's not, and you're in the picture and you're like, and I just remember he looked like shame and he had all the whole thing of pictures and he just kind of dropped them in the can.
Like silence.
Defeated.
Yeah, exactly.
And I didn't want to be like, I'm not trying to be mean.
I'm sorry, but.
But there's a difference between us too, you know?
I mean, men versus women.
It is.
What about in, in relationships of the same sex, same gender?
Hmm.
Someone needs to call in.
Tell us more.
Yeah.
I, if there's, hold another girl.
Can you imagine it?
I think if it was a, that's not cool then, huh?
I'd be like, what the hell?
Yeah, I think if it was a lesbian couple and she had pictures of another woman.
Yeah, because you know what?
You're a woman still.
You're going to be some jealousy on them.
it's gone.
Yeah, you're like, I don't know.
I'm just assuming, but I don't think that'll fly.
I guess, then I guess, yeah, it's true.
All of us kind of have jealousy on different degrees, right?
No, if you had a picture of your old hot dude, I don't think it'll fly with your.
absolutely not.
See, I don't.
I got rid of pretty much everything.
Yeah.
Of all the ex?
Yeah, why would I keep them?
Yeah.
That's, that's my viewpoint.
You know, like, why?
Right.
Okay, but if you did, then they're going to, like, is it going to be cool with your new lover?
If I did have some?
Yeah.
No, it wouldn't be cool, I don't think.
Yeah.
For a new guy?
No.
So why is it supposed to be cool for us for him to have his for him to have his pictures with this Maybe that was like eye-awake.
Yeah, I was a sucker because I didn't click.
I don't know why I dealt with that relationship and, you know, I've talked about it before and, you know, we'll talk about it in the future in different topics why that relationship was a wrong relationship and I didn't, there was many signs within that relationship that I didn't address but I think it was because of my age.
I was going to say age.
I was 19.
It's like learning curve, right?
Yeah, and because of my age, I didn't see the signs of why that was a wrong relationship.
There was so many things in that relationship that I dealt with and I can't believe that I went with it and there were some, like these clues.
I think people, listeners, if you're in a relationship, there's clues that'll tell you if it's a good relationship or a bad relationship.
And I think if we don't spot them out quickly, we tend to repeat, repeat, repeat the same thing over and over again.
It's like being held back in school, right?
If you don't figure out what you did wrong, you keep on being held back in that same class.
I swear, I think you just repeat that bad relationship over and over again.
Yeah.
I've seen that over and over with friends and people I know.
Yeah.
Like, why are you doing this again?
You didn't catch it before.
Right.
I don't know.
I think I've progressed as far as relationship.
Who I pick, I love them very much.
You know?
Mm-hmm.
And I respect them and, you know, I try to be a better person.
Yeah.
And, you know, I feel guilty when I, you know, if I get bitchy or want to, whiny or naggy or something.
Yeah, because we're going off of previous stuff we've learned.
Yeah, and it's difficult, but, yeah, there's many clues within relationships and people don't catch it when you're young and, I don't know.
It's stupid.
The fear of being alone.
I don't know.
What kind of blindsides do you?
Anything you wanted to mention, recap?
You know, we have a, not off the top of my head.
I wanted to, dude, I want to play.
We'll continue next week definitely on like more relationship stuff.
Why we stick around bad relationships.
Yeah, you like that topic?
Yeah, I think so, definitely.
I think it's so common.
Everyone kind of, we've all done it.
Yeah.
We've all done it at least once.
And maybe, how about, okay, so let's work on our homework listeners.
Everybody out there.
Homework is to female condoms.
Yes.
Yes.
Homework, female condoms to music and this, you know, from our caller Ray.
Thank you.
Music to listen to during sexy time.
Like, you know, because all I could think of was Radiohead.
I know I have some other things, but if you have any ideas or comments or, you know, try to, I don't know, try to do it to a different soundtrack.
Like this one works really well.
We'll put up our top 10 favorites.
I always thought erotica was pretty sexy.
Erotica.
Yeah.
But yeah, the whole album by Madonna.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, you know, it's a sexy album.
You got to bring in your CD.
Which one?
Your sexy, your sexy time CD.
Sexy time CD.
You know, we're going to be giving prizes away here and random here and there.
I think that would be a fun thing to do.
And, um, female condoms.
We can give some away too.
Female condoms.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, definitely.
Those are little little surprisey things.
You think?
Okay, slut walk.
Um, can I post, can I post the slut walk, slut rock event to the Skid Row page?
Awesome.
Okay, so people, again, I'm going to be, if you want to meet me in person, I'm going to be playing the slut rock Los Angeles this Saturday at 9 p.m.
with my dancing punk band.
It's got, we got a go-go beat.
And, again, we're playing with Sloppy Jane, Las Cochinas, and the Bitch Fits, which is a female misfits tribute band.
And it's to earn money for the slut walk Los Angeles.
They're going to be doing some tattoos.
We want to thank Olga for being a guest on our talk show.
She was a caller and she was also with her friend, and I'm just blanking out on her name right now.
Chelsea.
Okay.
And thank you for calling in or letting us call you.
Thank you.
And I'm going to be posting the event to the page.
Anything else?
How do we do this?
One second.
You know, we're going to be wrapping up the show.
