Who's this? Oh, I know who it is. Flan lady. Are we on right now? Yeah? Oh, okay. I don't see the light. I don't see the light. That's why. Oh, you see the light. Well, I'm going to skidroads.la and it's showing the episode 21, not episode 22. Yeah, I mean. I don't know. We have to look into that. Frank, hi, Frank. How you doing? Look, man. I don't know. What a crazy way to start. I want to wave my baby body to Pina Tower. We've been away for so long. It's been a while. We got Never Never here in the studios. We're setting up. Some of them have headphones. Hi, Never Never. Hi. Hi. What's your name? How's the studio? How do you like it? Oh, it's great. Yeah. Man's thinking new. We walked in and there was a waterfall right in front of us. So we had to climb through the set of walls. But we made it. We're okay. We're safe. All right. Yeah. Thank you for calling. No problem. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye. Bye. Okay, that's cool. So what's up, Frank? Nothing, man. We've been away for how long? A few weeks. A few weeks. Like three weeks, maybe? Something like that. Yeah? Yeah. Our friend right here. So we moved to a new studio now. And this is the new Skitro Studios.com here. Podcast. Podcast. And this is where... This is pretty nice. I like it. Need a little bit of art. Yeah. On the wall. Like right now, it's just like the Burley. Just cut down the local court right now. Yeah. Look at it. We have a whole lot of art that's waiting to get installed. But I agree. We got to fix the waterfall, though. That was pretty unexpected. Right? You know, shit water. Yeah, we have something to talk about. Yeah. Yeah. Smells like ammonia. Yeah. Yeah. That's it. Can't smell, man. Maybe I need to use some of this. What do you got? Snackers. Okay. So we have Never Never in the studio. Where's the... Oh, okay. Is he fixing the water? Water like handyman. Let's go. Is it handyman, too? I need that. So we got Never Never in the studio. We got two females and four males. That's seven of you guys there. No, wait. Six. Six of you guys. Wow. Where you guys all from? Let me just grab it. How you guys met? Where did it start? Yeah, that's a good story. I'm related to that one. Okay. So you're related to that one. Yes. And anybody else related in here? No. No. No, but we're all family. Yeah. Okay, cool. Yeah. I've known him since the 90s. How did the Never Never came to... You guys were like in different... Were in different places. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Were you in different bands before and now became Never Never or... I mean, this is my first band experience. Oh, no shit. Yeah. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. It's pretty cool. I mean, I'm playing with some like Seth and Darlene. I know they've been playing for years. Right. Cassie has a master's degree in classical guitar. Yeah, she's a master. And that would be you. She's embarrassed. Okay. You play guitar? I play guitar, yeah. Okay. How long have you been playing guitar? I've been playing for about a year. Oh, wow. Wow. Wow. Yeah. I've been playing for about 10 years, but I've only been playing electric for like the last two. Nice. Who else plays guitar here? Seth and Angel. Seth and Angel. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So there's three guitars. Three guitars. Who puts all the music together? Is it just... Seth. Seth. Yeah. Yeah. Putting it together, but... You can bring the microphone close to you if you want. We just recently... We're working on a new album right now. And with this album, it's actually been more of a collaborative thing. And so with our residency that we're doing at the Down and Out... Tonight. Tonight, the whole concept and the whole aspect of everything now is that it's a little bit more of a band oriented instead of just me writing the songs. All right. Does that make sense? Yeah. Because there's a song that we have right now that we're playing called Drive All Night that Cassie wrote the most amazing guitar lick ever for that song. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. And so she has that. She has... Are we going to hear that today? Today? No. You will if you can. You're all defensive. No. We're actually playing tonight at 10. Yeah. Down and Out. Our other studio, the original studio was on Spring. Like only a block from there. Oh, wow. So... All right. All right. So we got... How long have you guys been together for... Two and a half years. Two and a half years. Two and a half years. How's it going? It's going good. Good. Yeah. It looks like you guys went for a big tour. Yeah. Two... We've done two tours, right? Yep. Two so far? Yeah. All right. Up to Seattle and then back. From San Diego to Seattle and back twice. How was that? Yeah. It's been... It was amazing. Was it easy to put it together? It's more just spending the time to call in all the venues and making sure that everything... Right. Because we basically do everything ourself. Right. And so you just got to spend the time to do that. Nice. But once you start getting hooked up with people... Yeah. ...yourself, things will get a little bit easier. Right. And so yeah. Cool. Cool. It's all about networking. Yep. And you guys play... We play on a lot of these local venues out here? Yeah. We mainly play in LA and we try to get to other places, but we usually save those places for the tours and stuff like that. But we're from Ventura and Azusa and stuff like that. And so we have played out there, those type of places, just because we're from there. We have a home base. Yeah. We have a lot of people. Who's from Azusa out here? Me. Is that your hometown? No. Oh, no. I'm sorry. I'm stuck. No. Aren't you from out there or...? I'm from Ballin Park. Oh, okay. Just around there. Okay. Speaking of like hometowns, it's kind of funny that I randomly met... Oh, yeah. Is that a fun story? I was playing a show with my other band that I have and I invited Angel out and Angel brought Seth and I recognized Seth. I go, oh, yeah. I'm like, oh, yeah. I'm like, oh, yeah. I'm like, oh, yeah. I'm like, oh, yeah. I'm like, oh, yeah. I'm like, oh, yeah. I'm like, oh, yeah. Did you grow up in Ohio, California? He goes, yeah. And I go, oh, I went to the same church as you. And I haven't seen him in like, what, like 10 years or something. At least. It was the funniest thing and now we're in a band together. Small world. And what's funny is Chris and I actually went to high school together. And like, I didn't even know that until a couple of years ago. Yeah. So we were both in LA. We never even knew. Because of mutual friends that we both have. Yeah. And we've had the same mutual friends and probably have gone to the exact same parties. What I experienced is like if, you know, people in LA from different places, like you're in there, musicians or something, they're going to come in a full circle. You see them later and it's like, oh, so that's what you do now. Music business or something. The music, the biz. The biz. You know, the biz. Double Z at the end. How about you? Do you play anything? I know you guys, I know you're always booking stuff and you're running stuff. Oh, yeah. I play drums. Oh, okay. Nice. Very nice. In a band? Yeah. Well, kind of, sort of, you know, in and out. In and out. In and out. In and out. That's what a hamburger. I know. But yeah, so, yeah, so it's all about Occupy LA, you know. Did you hear, I heard the story or I don't know where, I think it was on the radio where somebody was talking about how Jay-Z made an Occupy Wall Street shirt. Oh, yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. I'm making tissues right now as we're speaking. It's going to be in Spanish. Ocupado. Ocupado. Busy. Ocupado. Okay, so we got some tracks. We got the kids and kids. We got the Soy remix. The Soy. Soy. The Soy remix. Nice. That sounds like fire. What songs do you guys want to play in acoustic here too? Do you have any idea? We're going to play Riri Hey, Imaginary Friends, and Foolish, which are all three songs that are on the first EP we released called Evacuation Plan. Yeah, we recorded that up in Texas in January. What year was that? 2009. 2009. And then it got released 10, 2010. No, no, no. It was 2010. January 2010. So we went out there for what? Pine Flies now. Yeah. Went out there for 10 days and recorded that EP, which was an awesome experience. And then the second EP, Every Story as a Thief, which was just remastered, actually. We did that all ourselves. That's where the kids aren't kids. It's from that remaster thing. But a friend of mine, he goes to Sway. He remixed the song for us, basically. And that's what that is, is the remix of that. Oh, okay. Of the song that we had. So he did a good job. So what songs do you guys want to do on Acoustics? I think we're going to play Riri Hay, Foolish, and Imaginary Friends. Cool. Okay. Yeah, we're going to do that later. Not right now. Yeah, yeah. We're just killing time. That's fine. All right. So we're going to come back. We're going to have Frank Lepore play some of the mixes. Some Tupac? Yeah. I like Tupac. Why would you tease me like that? Play some Beethoven for me, please. Why would you tease me like that? No, no, no. All right. Tell it. Frank, whatever you write, you know, hit the up button. Bueno. Ahí vamos. Dale. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. Caller, who's this? My name is Allison. Hey. What's up, Allison? Where you been? I'm doing pretty good. How are you guys? We're good. We're great. It's so sweet of you to call. I know. It's so awesome. Of course. You know, I have to say, I guess this is being recorded. You know, I'm not really sure how radio works. Yeah, this is a podcast show, so it is being recorded. Awesome. Okay, well, good. Because that gives me the opportunity to call in and say that I think you guys are a great band. You're super hardworking. Seth, your songwriting just gets better and better. And I am just so excited for you guys. I think it's awesome that you're on the radio, on a podcast. Yeah. Well, thank you. Thank you, Allison. You guys are awesome. And I just wanted to call in and say, you know, just say that, I guess. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, guys, stay tuned. They're going to play here live. They're going to do a little acoustic. You know what? And I'm only bummed out because I actually just moved into a new place. I don't have... Also, to us, too. We just moved to a new place right now. Oh, really? Yeah. Yes, I can't even listen to this live at all. So I'm going to have to listen to it tomorrow or something when I go to the coffee shop. But anyway, the Never Never is awesome. Yes, they are. And I'll talk to you guys soon. Thanks, Allison. Thank you. Of course. All right, bye. Bye. Thanks. Bye. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. Thank you. Thank you. Release it on vinyl, that's nice. All right, so go ahead, let's play it. All right. All the style All the romance All the crazy things we do You can't believe All the style All the genius We wear these wild hearts All over town You can't You can't believe You can't believe You know I Am You know I Am Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. He's gonna be a dad tween is coming right really oh Like to make me make news that they went the other way, but you know I'm making like what people wants to hear exactly you know Oh By the way you guys can curse you can say we can say you know Not it's in I Feel like I should now I didn't have anything planned to curse about but I feel like I should now A lot in the band how you guys Like when you guys want to practice is like it's just one text and everybody gets in and like you better be there Or you're out Sorry, I gotta go to the movies my girl Yeah, we schedule like a weekly practice time and four of us live together in the loft Four out of the six of us. Oh, okay, so communications, you know, it's tighter. I said, yeah, I think so Well, you know, you know four of you live together You know Yeah And we have it scheduled like she said once a week And we have a practice room so we could really feel bad. That's us keeps getting cut off Outside voice he's drunk, huh? Faded on his birthday I want to go on the radio my birth got that give me drinks got too much. What is your birthday? I call you I'll call you on your birthday My birthday is tomorrow It's not about me. It's about Yeah, it's coming up. That's right Yeah It's about says because says the one that contact me okay What's up Today is about Seth So, how did you guys how did all of you guys meet each other then I knew for a while Yeah, just I was doing shows, you know Hey, yeah, you want to do a show together something like that Sure. Yeah, and then The other two I met him to the fortune cookie I open one and It says here was two years I come and look at all right, so I went to it Now I went inside just like the movie Tron, you know, he just got pulled in That's how we got We're actually I most I most of the bands cuz I get a lot of emails from people you know, it's like hey I got my bad, you know for sure or they want to come down here So like I usually listen to all of them I like to take the time cuz out, you know, I've been in the band before so I was there's a question say Do these people really listen to music or to you know, but you know, the true reality is like now is that is different So it's like everybody create your own little market your own little yeah, yeah, and then you know Then before you know you met another different scene or different groups or different, you know Market, I guess it's good exposure for for both of us, you know Is still you know, one of the best forms of communication for you know Yeah, that's how I'm doing this podcast cuz is you know, it's like you can and get in touch with people. And now with technology, people can just, it's all out there. They can have it on their phones. You know? Like you know somebody somewhere right now is sitting on a bus with their cell phone listening to this. Or maybe somebody is just like masturbating to it. Oh, man. Who said nice? Who said nice here? What's your name again? I don't put you on my guest list. VIP. Yeah, you're going to pay the whole $5 when you come in. Oh, man. Right? I like you guys. So this is Never Never. Can I say something? Yeah. Never say never. I don't know. I need to get it out of my system. You love Justin Bieber. I don't know. What's up, man? I think we've made a discovery tonight. The name, you know. He really isn't Bieber. It's not the Bieber. Lee Bieber. I know people listening can't see him. Look at my hair. Lee Bieber. Yeah. People can't see him, but he actually looks just like Justin Bieber. Yeah. He has the haircut. Can you dance? What's funny is people think he has the same voice, too. And now that I see the face and the voice mixed together, you could totally impress me. Is that really you, Bieber? Yeah. Son of a bitch. I think we're going to get in trouble. Like, we're probably going to get a call from Bieber's PR. Yeah. What are you doing? Oh, he can come down to the show here, too. I don't mind. Yeah. I'll probably get my two million. He's going to be here in 20 minutes. And when those two millions come in, like, that would be crazy, right? Right, Frank? I think so. You quit your job? Hell yeah. Nah, you know what? I won't. I won't. I'll be undercover rich, dude. You know? That'd be cool. I'll pay you like $80,000 a year. Just come here and kick it. Eat brownies all day? Yeah. You just need some milk. I know. You, like, annihilated that brownie. I know. You saw, dude. Like, a sliver left. How could you even talk? How big was it? It was pretty big. I just... I think you took most of it. Yeah. It was a whole casserole. Yeah. People can't see the show, but if you guys see the show, it's like a wedding cake. Yeah. And there's just only, like, the little piece left, right? Yeah. It was a wedding cake of happy brownies, and now it's like... It's all going to here. Now it's a morsel. It's going to the Bieber hairstyle. If you leak it, it's, like, sugary. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. No Shave November. What's his name again? His name's Chris. Chris, yeah. He's going, yeah, that's right. Yeah, yeah. He's got a beard. Wow. How long did yours take to grow? This is just over two months. Jesus. I tried to do No Shave November, and then everybody thought I had a chocolate milk mustache. Yeah. Movember. Movember. Is that what it is? No Shave November? No Shave November? I don't know. Yeah. We have it at work. No Shave November. I think I'm going to try and hold out to a Super Bowl, though. In Canada, we call it Movember. Like mustache? Yeah. I'm not from Venturas. I don't know. What's going on here? Really? I never heard that. Justin's from Canada. Yeah. So if there's any Canadians listening. Canadians are cool. You guys are cool. Every time I hear someone, it's Canadian. Can I say something? Can I say something here? Justin Bieber is from Canada, too. Is he? Man. Oh, dude. No. He's got to call in. Can I call in? Oh, my God. I'm going to lose my mind. Don't scream. Chris, don't scream. All right. So everybody is from here, right? From LA. And then... Justin is from Canada. Yeah. How long have you been here? Like a couple of days. He's looking at everybody. He's like, I'm not sure. Did you get here legally or illegally? Yeah. Coyote? I'm here now. They don't have coyotes over there. What do they have? Werewolves? Yeah. They call them lichens. No, we got... That's a new one. Let me write that one down. Write it down. I don't... There might be... I don't think there's coyotes. There's more like... In Vancouver, there's cougars and stuff like that. Well, there's cougars everywhere. There's cougars. They're all over LA, too. In LA, we got the cuckoo. I'm sure there's some. Yeah. Cuckoo. Yeah. Nice. Well, since we're on air... Never, never in the studios, man. I've always wanted to do this thing where you're on air and you do like shout outs to people. Go ahead, man. Go ahead. Yeah. Yo. I want to say a big shout out to Smiley in Riverside. You always hear stuff like that. But no, seriously. From Moscow. My homegirl Freckles. My homegirl Freckles. Stay up. Stay up. We're going to break a 40 up there. Life is hard. Call it now. Crack a 40. No, but seriously, I'm pretty sure my dad's listening and I would like to say hello to him because we have not spoken in a while and I apologize for that. But trying to... Trying to get stuff done. So if you're listening, dad, which I know you are, I effing love you and I'm going to try and make it out for the holidays. More of Dr. Drew after this message. I know. He's making it sound... Now that I've said that, I'm going to just leave. See you guys. Now on to more novellas. That's all I wanted to do. Right? All right. Let's stop bullshitting. So let's play some music. All right. All right. All right. Let's do music. Cut the shit. Let's play some music. Let's play some of their tracks. Let me hit the red button. Can you hear me? No. Can you hear me now? Are you ready? Should I play something? Hit this red button here. You need that air horn? You need that Drake air horn? That shit is so annoying. All right. So yeah. Go ahead. Let's play it. Yeah. We're going to play the next following song. Never, never, piñata hour. Dale. Sha. Can't breathe. Stay now. I said, Hey, you're too nice. I said, Hey, you're not my type. I said, Hey, Hey, Hey, it's just not the right time. So you wait for it. You just wait for it. You can't wait. For it. For the time to be right. I said, Hey, you're too shy. I said, Hey, you're too quiet. I said, I've heard it all my whole life. So I wait for it. I just wait for it. I can't wait for it. All right! All right! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. My name's RC. Hey! RC Kruger in the house! Did I win? Yeah, you won. You won two tickets to see Justin Bieber. You're on a trip to South Central. Okay, you know what? DJ Prime Real Estate in the house. You know, I'm on the five right now. I'm on my way. Why are you talking and driving? No one can see. RC is the... I've been listening to you guys on the phone right now, and I feel like my dad. Like listening to talk radio. Nice. And I just decided to call in. That's awesome. Thank you for calling. RC's the original bass player. He played with us for two years, and just last month, he just moved down to San Diego. Okay, cool. Which is why I'm on the five, because I'm heading to Los Angeles. I'm going to enjoy it. To see the Never Never tonight. Oh, that's cool, dude. What's up? Nice. You know you came because I'll give you drink tickets. Yeah. Behind the scenes. I mean, that's really... That's the reason why I came. Yeah, I'll probably stay through the set, though. You have a good radio voice. Yeah. Do I? Yeah, you should be on NPR or something. NPR. Maybe. Maybe. I mean, maybe I'll look at it. I don't have a job. Hopefully one of them is listening. Oh, is that right? But yeah, I just wanted to call and say that I love you guys. I love you, too. I'm excited to be there and see you guys tonight. And I'm so excited to hear Cassie's song. Oh, it's so good. We're not playing it tonight. No, you're playing the other one. We're playing one of the first ones. Well, I'm going to turn around. Yeah, we're going to exit right now. We're doing another one. Oh, okay. Yeah. All right. Hey, what part of the freeway are you in? I'm somewhere in Orange County. Let's see. How's the traffic? San Juan Capistrano. Oh, man. Can you give us an update, please? How's the traffic? This is the traffic. Traffic. Traffic. Coffee. Channel. Piñata hour. What was that? Hello. Hello? Hi. Hello? What? It's Jess and Sarah from Canada. Oh, hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! From Canada. From Canada. Cool. We got two of them now. Yeah. That's so cool. Yeah, we were listening, and the number wouldn't work from our phone, so we had to call from Skype. So it's kind of hard to hear you guys. Oh, cool. That's so sweet. Thanks for calling. Skype. Hey. We wanted to wish Steph a happy birthday. Happy birthday. Thank you. Thank you for calling. Oh, yeah. Happy birthday, Steph. Me too. Careful. Don't crash, man. Don't crash. It's like a whole phone party happening. I know. I feel like I'm in junior high, and we're all conferencing each other and giggling. I think we have another caller. Now it's going to be an orgy. We got a caller orgy right now. I was going to say something, but I'm... Well, I'm going to phone out because I'm going to get pulled over. Okay. See you in a couple hours, Arch. See you soon, Archie. Did you say I'm going to phone out? Yeah. I haven't heard that in a long time. Really? Yo, I'm going to bone out. Phoning out now. All right. He brought it back. He brought it back. Are the other two still there? Yeah. Awesome. How are you guys doing? Wow. Kenna, that's cool. Listening to you guys before we go to bed. That's nice. Oh, yeah. What time is it? How late? It's like 10. It's 10 to 11. That's not late. No, that's not late. That's early. Stay up. You'll be all right. Stay up. I'm still smoking. How's the weather? How's the weather in Canada? Got to work in the morning. Is it cold? Yeah. Hopefully, next time we visit, we'll get to see you guys play live and hang out with everyone. Oh, nice. Nice. Or maybe we'll play in Canada. Yes. How cold is it over there? That'd be awesome. It's not too bad. I don't really know what it is in Fahrenheit. What is it? Justin would know, but it's been like- I have a conversion app. Covering around 70 degrees. So it's probably like 40-ish? Yeah. The weather. Yeah. It's not nice. It's not nice. It's not nice. No bueno. No bueno. We're bitching about 50 degrees over here. Over here? Yeah, I know. 60? I bitch when it's 70. Hold on. It's currently 36 degrees. Oh. Uh-oh. Get off the moon. Achoo. That's too cold. I couldn't live there. I'm too tropical. Yeah. We die. Yeah. It's because we're brown. Exactly. All that brown in the blood freezes. Yeah. We won't survive out there. Margarita tastes better by the ocean. Yeah. You guys coming to California? Maybe in January. Nice. Cool. So you guys will have to play a special show. We will. Done. We'll cover some Bieber. Yeah. We'll cover some Bieber. All Canadian band. What's your... Maybe we'll do the Canadian anthem. Yeah. It's a lot shorter than the American one. How's Sarah doing? I don't hear her at all. I'm good. I'm just sitting listening. Oh, okay. Cool. How's your day? I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. How does it sound over there? Sounds clear? Yeah. Whenever we talk, except once, you kind of can't really hear anything, but I'm not too bad. Nice. We're going to use our outside voices. We're inside. We're going to speak up. We're doing our best. Hey, thank you for calling. Bye. Take care, guys. Bye. Good night. Thank you. We love Canada. Michael J. Fox and everybody. Okay. So we're going to go back to the studio. We're going to go back to the studio. We're going to go back to the studio. We're going to go back to the studio. We're going to go back to the studio. We're going to go back to the studio. Okay. We're international up in here. We're in London. I am based around Notting Hill. Notting Hill. Awesome. That's got to be a nice neighborhood. Is that a nice neighborhood? Happy birthday, Seth. Happy birthday, Seth. So what do you got to cook today? He's a chef. Oh. What are you cooking today? Did you disappear? Is he there? I don't know. Oh. That's a bad sound. He disintegrated. Sounds like it. Must have been wearing a red shirt. Is he back? He's there. I'm getting this weird echo. No, I'm here. Are you listening to the podcast while you're calling? What do you have to cook today? Hello? Nares. I guess. Can you hear us? I bet you he's on Skype. Looks like he's cutting off. And it's so easy to press the mute button. Oh, yeah. Totally. He's probably like, oh, no. He's like having a full-on conversation. I'm having a conversation with myself, dude. I'm talking in a third person. This is crazy. So you're going to work? I guess he can't hear us. Can you hear us? Can you hear me now? He's just laughing. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. Yeah, 6 o'clock. You work at 6? Justin wants to know what you're going to be cooking today. I'm going to be a huge lag. This is weird. Yeah. Oh, it's a lag. Because he's in London. Because he's like a million miles away. Well, because they have to send the message through the telephone line under the water, right? Justin wants to know what you're going to be cooking today. Oh. Oh, there you go. Twilight Zone. He's in London? Dude, we're in the Matrix. Wow. Wow. That's actually his. No, I can hear him. Oh, this is crazy. Just a bunch of stuff. Whatever is on the card. I don't know if it's the brownies or... I don't know what it is. This is not working out so well. I think he realized it. It's working out for me. I can't shop soon, so... Oh, there you go. Oh, man. That was nice. I like your drum. It sounds really bassy. It's bassy. It's not too much. It's some gangster shit. We were having like, you know, we're like trying to fix it. So it doesn't sound like. All right. Cool. Cool. I thought it sounded perfect. Like dubstep. Robot fart. Well, cool. I'm glad you guys liked it. Yeah, we dig it. So you guys are going to play tonight here down the street, right? Yeah. Every Wednesday at 10 p.m. at the Down and Out Corner of 15th and Spring in downtown L.A. Oh, I thought it was only tonight. No. Every Wednesday. Every Wednesday of this month. You're taking off. No, we're not. No. I'll be there Saturday, though. Oh. Yeah. Yeah. I DJ there. Like once a month. Oh, cool. You know that? Sweet. Also, I want to mention there's a couple gigs coming up. We have this Monday. We have Bastidas, Dab City, Sketch Monster, and the Hell Club. But they're going to play at Los Globos. It's on Sunset. What is that? I know where that is. Los Globos. It's a nightclub. It's Mexican. You know, really like. Oh, I hate Los Globos. My cousin used to be a bodyguard there. Oh, yeah? And he had to carry a gun. Did I have to carry a knife or something? Yeah. He was a bodyguard there. He got shot at. When you type Los Globos on Google, like pictures of people there, you know, like mug shots. Mug shots. Yeah. All right. I'm just kidding. But anyway, so yeah, this Monday. And also, we have Animals on Coke, Tremelo, and East of the River, Hermosillo. That's going to be also on the 21st. And what else do we have out there? You guys playing every Wednesday over there? Every Wednesday at 10. Yeah. I mean, if you want any other future updates, just type in The Never Never World on Facebook, Twitter, anywhere. Just go to TheNeverNeverWorld.com. Or if you're super lazy, just Google The Never Never. Right. Or just go to the Piñata Hour World. There you go. Yeah. You can go there, too. It's like a lot of piñatas in there. But yeah. Yeah. So check us out on the interwebs. Nice. Some pretty cool updates coming up. I mean, we have others in the residency. Like we said, we just released a seven-inch vinyl with a few singles on it that we played for you. Also, the reason we're doing this residency is because we're kind of gearing up to record a full-length album. So we're kind of just playing some new songs just so people can hear them. And kind of we're doing this thing where we're having... We're having people vote. We had them vote last week, and we're having them vote this week on which one was their favorite songs. So help us out with that. Yeah. So help us out with that. If you want to come to the down and out, tonight would be the best time to do it. So yeah. We're working on a full length. And we have a caller. Boom. Go ahead. Put him through. Yo, what up? What's up, guys? How you doing? All right, man. This is PH. This is PH town right now. I know that voice. Never Never World town. Oh, fantastic. Hey, Louie. Hey, Louie. Hey, Dad. Happy birthday. Thanks. Hey, that sounded great, man. I love that song. Oh, thank you. I don't know. I've seen it progress over the years and change, and you've made some tempo changes and some other stuff. But I love that song. So if you guys get to play that again, that'd be great. Thank you. Thank you. I miss you. How you guys doing? We're good. We're doing great. We're awake. Excited? You guys excited for tonight's show? Yeah. Well, I hope you guys have a great turnout tonight. Oh, thanks. Thank you. We miss seeing you. We miss seeing you at the shows. You know what? I really miss the shows, and I got to tell you, I miss Los Angeles. But I just cannot be there right now. I got to handle some legal issues before I go. Okay. I mean, you know, I guess it's no secret. I mean, you know, I've got women issues. Nothing like a scorned woman, but I love my son, and I'll support you guys at every turn. So at some point. At some point in time, I will fly in under the radar, and I'll probably be at your shows and stuff, and I'll probably be at your practice and all that. Oh, thanks. Just don't say no when I try to buy you a beer or something. Beers are always welcome, Dad. You know that. Yes, thank you. Wear a disguise when you come back. What's that? Wear a disguise when you come back. I've already grown hair. I don't think anybody will recognize me. Oh, okay. Well, there you go. Yeah, you're not shaving your head anymore? Well, not for the moment. I'm having a little difficulty, you know, establishing a residence. As a Hispanic bald male. It's amazing, and I don't have tattoos, okay? So imagine how they feel about tattoos here. Yeah. But yeah, as soon as I establish residence, I'll go back to being the same old me, shaving my head, and my attitude hasn't changed, though. All right. Hey, Louis, thanks for calling. Thank you for calling for your time. I love you guys. I love you guys, man. You guys enjoy, and thank you for having me these few minutes. Louis, happy birthday. Never, never. All right. Keep drumming and keep going, okay? Will do. Thanks for calling, Dad. I miss you. I miss you, too. I love you. Bye. Bye. That's nice. Aw. Aw. Aw. There's a towel right there. There's a paper right there in front of you. That's nice. That was nice. That was cool. I want to eat cake now. Oh, man. Oh, man. I want to eat cake. Stomach feels weird. We still haven't eaten. What time did you guys eat? There's some food right here. I don't want to talk about it. I ate at, like, noon. Same here. I already ate today, so I'm good. Oh, is that right? Is that how you get that figure? Yeah. One meal a day? Yeah. All right. We're going to go to some Frank LePo right now, and then we're going to come back to you guys real quick, and then we'll let you guys go and get ready for your show tonight. Cool. Thank you. All right. So this is going to be Frank LePo. What are you going to be this Saturday? Saturday at the Down and Out. Bam. Playing some music, drinking beer, and just relaxing. That's the spot where everybody goes to take their pictures and look like they're in jail, right? Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's just like a virus everywhere. Oh, yeah. And on Monday. Los Globos. Monday, Los Globos. Los Globos. Come down. Five bucks. Bring a knife. Sketch Monster. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, Sketch Monster is going to play at the Hell Club. Bustidos in Stab City. Stab City. Stab City. I'll be there. Just bring your butter knife. All right. Frank LePo, Pina Tower. All right. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, they're going to play here tonight down the street here in downtown L.A. Come down and check it out. They just played two acoustic shows here, songs, and they were really good. Thank you. The Cruz family reunion. How's it going? It's going pretty good. I just wanted to call in and tell you guys that I loved your podcast while I was doing my homework. Oh. And then. I just wanted to say that your music is always insanely inspirational, especially going through these hard times, applying for colleges and all that junk. White people problems, Priscilla. I'm sorry, but I actually am going to college. And whenever I need my spirit to be lifted, I always listen to some of your guys' songs and it always brings me up. Oh. Thank you so much. That's so nice. This love. I'm glad one of us is going to college. I'm glad one of us is going. I'm trying. Where are you calling from? From Hesperia, California. Desert runs. Unite. We just wanted to thank Darren Martinez so much for, I mean, honestly, if it even wasn't for him, we probably never would have even heard of Pinata Hour. Oh, nice. He's been a huge supporter of ours for a very long time, and he always helps out, gets us shows. I mean, introduced us to the live music aficionados thing, which is where I've seen you posting stuff all the time. Yeah. You know, so, yeah, just wanted to give a huge, huge triple shout out to Darren because he's always been very, very supportive, and we really appreciate it. Besos. Besos. Yeah. Besos. Abrazos. Abrazos. Y muchos besos. Y nalgadas. Oh, my goodness. Mucho, mucho, mucho. Amor. Amor. Do you remember that guy? Yeah, we got to keep it low, man. A lot of little kids listening right now. This is Lee with Pinata Hour and Frank Lupo Sonidos, and Never Never Tonight, a done-it-out bar. So, we're going out with this. What's the name of this song here? I believe it's called Imaginary Friends, which we played acoustic. Yeah, yeah. I have. I have. I have. I have. You will get to hear it electric. All right, tune in. See you, whatever, next Wednesday.
