And so I kept hearing that from people in the, after the, um, the workshop was over. And since then, cause I wrote to everybody and said, Hey, thank you for being there. And, you know, really cool to see you and love to hear your experiences. And people just keep coming back with, Oh, I was really surprised that I got to create a new picture, a new, a new vision, a new idea. I became conscious of something. I started becoming aware of something. There's something that showed up for me that I didn't expect. And that is the point of working with energy of grounding, of becoming conscious of doing your own spiritual work. When you start to kind of dive in and really look for yourself and create on that new level, you do create those new pictures. You do discover things for yourself. You have those big epiphany, those aha moments. And it's way more fun to create an aha moment for yourself by working consciously than by working unconsciously. You know, we all do it both ways and we've all grown both ways in our lives, but here's the difference. An unconscious aha might mean you walking around sort of bumping your nose into things or going, what is going on? I have no idea. And sometimes it's just how it is. You know, you're just, you're just, you're just, you're just, you're just, you're just going to be doing that. But you might create problems for yourself because you're trying to snap out of the unconsciousness. You might create problems with your, you know, in your life in many ways that then you have to figure out how to step out of or how to solve. And when you start working consciously and you start really working within yourself more, you start to become more conscious of what you've been avoiding or what's been in your way or what's been, making, you know, like where you've already been making messes that maybe you just are deciding you're not going to make anymore. And that's when you start creating a new picture. By the way, you're probably already understanding that the theme, the topic for tonight is creating a new picture. I didn't say it until, you know, I wanted to kind of give it a good introduction, but that is what we're going to work on. And yes, April is prosperity month, at least the way I'm setting the tone, but it's also to me, prosperity is a month of prosperity. And I think that's what includes being able to create new vision for yourself, a new imagination, a way of using your imagination or imagining who you are and what your possibilities are and what you can create and what it is possible to have to become. It may be that you don't even know what your new pictures are, but you are working on them. You know, there's something new coming. And one of the things I keep seeing with people, and I have been for a while over and over, is that everybody's creating new pictures or they're avoiding creating new pictures. I'm not saying you have to go create something completely different than what you have. You may already have the thing that you've been working toward for a while, but you'll adjust it. You know, and that's, and my suggestion is give yourself permission to sit with it or to adjust it. If something doesn't quite feel right, or if you know you need to change, or if you know there's another, kind of direction to take it in, or you want to, you're kind of waiting for that information to come in, try and be patient with that. Give yourself a little bit of space to allow for that information to come in. Now, giving yourself space is one of the ways you create a new picture. Creating space. It's really hard to create anything new when you're, when you're really already, all your energy is sort of tied up into the old. And the old stuff might be great. It might be perfectly wonderful. You're just, you're really happy with what you've done. You're proud of it. But there's a, there's a kind of a limitation in your growth because you know, you have to go beyond a particular boundary or a place. Like you grew into something and now you're like, okay, now what's next? What do I do with this next? And that's great. That's a great place to be. I'm seeing people over and over my, my clients, my students, my family, my friends, just different people I know who are really doing this right now. And a lot of what we're all doing is getting past an old, kind of an old fear about growth. An old fear about, can I handle it? You know, am I ready for this? Is it time? What if I get disappointed? Will I fail? Will I succeed? That's scary too. I wrote a post a long time ago. I wrote a few articles about this on my blog about, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, you know, you better be sure that you can actually handle what comes in with that kind of success. And the success might mean just simply that you're making more money or you're, you're getting more clients or you're, you know, your business is expanding and growing, but there's more you handle as a result. And that's beautiful. That's not a bad thing, but there's more energy that comes in as a result of that. As a result of you getting your new pictures, it's not like everything just is like, oh yeah, I'm going to do it all the same way I always did it. Now you have to create a new picture about how do I have this kind of success? How do I allow myself to, to be with that? If your new pictures of success come with you not getting more than five hours of sleep a night and you know, and your body's telling you that you need more than that, maybe it's not working on that level. You know, maybe it's something you do for a little while and then you go, okay, now my picture of success includes me really taking care of my body. Speaking personally for myself, that's one of my pictures of success. I cannot afford ever to ignore my body or to let it get really angry at me because I can't create. And especially doing the work I do, I take a lot on, on that level. So I have to make sure that this is just one of my pictures. You know, maybe you have a completely different one, but I have to make sure. That my pictures of my, of how I treat myself and what I give to myself include a lot of self-care. Just a little reminder, you're listening to Psychic Everyday Radio at skidrowstudios.com. I'm Chris Cahill, your show host, and you're tuning into a pre-recorded show about creating new pictures. So there, welcome. Since it's pre-recorded, there will be no calls tonight, but I hope you listen and like the show. This is all dedicated to, this show is dedicated to each of you who is creating a new picture. Now continuing. As you're creating your new pictures, I made my little list here, as I usually do, about different ways you can look at it or that things that might be a little bit helpful for you, sort of topics or ideas, you know, ways to go about it. First of all, if you've been, you know, you've been living on this planet for the past few years, if you're listening to my show, you're going to be able to see a lot of different things. You're going to be able to see a lot of different things. You're going to be able to see a lot of different things. You're going to be able to see a lot of different things. You're going to be able to see a lot of different things. You're going to be able to see a lot of different things. You certainly have, and you've been challenged. You've been experiencing a destruction, a release, a letting go, you know, maybe crisis in your life or a new birth of something new, something that you're creating that's different. And so you've been challenged. You've been asked to kind of go beyond where you were before. You've been asked to become more and become more, not become more than what you are, but really it's about becoming more of who you are. And that's the key right now. It really is about being more of who you are. And it's not that who you were being before was wrong, but it's that now you get to really expand on that, to become more, to step out. And so I'm seeing with people too, that they're hitting the deepest fears. Their deepest fears about who they are or what their challenges are or what they're allowed to have or what they're afraid could happen. The deepest, deepest stuff and having to kind of turn around and face that stuff with love, you know, that helps. Resistance doesn't help so much, you know, anyway, but kind of with a hello, there's, this is like my stuff. This is some of my deep, dark stuff. I got to deal with it. And sometimes when you, when you start to do that, you just become, more conscious that, oh yeah, if I, if I say hello to this and I can continue to communicate with it, I might not know what to do about it. I might not like it. I might not like the feeling of it because usually it's very like heavy on an emotional level, but I can get through it. It's not going to kill me. I am going to survive this one. It's all good. And that's part of it. It's, you know, for some people it's fear of being alone. For other people, it's fear of being completely broke. For other people, it's fear of, you know, everything falling apart. And, and what's kind of cool is things are falling apart, but they're not falling apart in a way that everything's going away. They're falling apart in a way that the old is going away. The old that is no longer serving all of us on a great big scale. And so then in our lives, it's coming down to, well, we're each doing that too on a smaller level. What are we, even if the old was great, like, what do I want to sink my energy, into now moving forward? So there's your feelings and emotions about that. Feelings and emotions. Yeah. That's, that's a body level. That's your body feeling. That's your, that's how your body communicates with you. And so sometimes we experience all that negativity or that fear as being uncomfortable on a body level. It's really not fun. At least I haven't found a way to make it fun yet. I'm not going to lie to you. However, I do. I do know ways you can release it and let it go. And that includes starting to really be nice to your body. So getting back to my pictures of prosperity include taking care of my body. You know, I better, that's pretty much what my body tells me, but it actually helps when I do that to take care of this energy, to release it, to go, yep, there it is again. Okay. Letting that one go. And one of the best ways you can do that is grounding yourself, is listening to your body, is letting go. And there's a lot of faith and trust that go with that. You know, faith that if you let go of something, it's kind of a faith in yourself, really not faith in something outside of you, faith in you, faith that you have what you need within you to, to get to where you want to be. Faith that actually there's a reason why you're here. You know, you, it's not just an accident that you're here right now doing what you're doing. You have things you want to do. You have things you love. People you love, your creations. You know, you have an idea, even if you don't know what it is yet, there's something I'm supposed to be doing or that I really want to do. And I'm seeing that more and more people showing up for that, realizing, oh yeah, I, you know, I really want, this is what I want next. And it's kind of neat to watch the shuffle, like everybody sort of shuffling into place about, and I don't mean that in a, in a silly way. It's like people sort of moving into place to kind of go to where they want to go with their new pictures, creating their new pictures. Now, the ability to create a picture is a clairvoyant ability. You are clairvoyant because you're human. It doesn't mean you use it the same way I do. I use it as a, as a, not just for myself and my own life and creating my vision, but I use it as a reader. I was trained as a clairvoyant reader. I use it to say, hello to the spirit of people and to read energy and pictures. You do not have to do that. You can certainly learn how to do that if you choose to, but you already have it naturally. You know, your imagination, the way you see things, you've been using this since you were born, before then. You've got these, these pictures that come up for yourself about what it is you want to create in your life. Or it might just be you saying to yourself, wow, I can, I can, I can do this. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. I can do that. that. I can see that. I can imagine that. It's one of the ways we have fun with people, with our friends, where people just sit around and start throwing pictures around. Well, yeah, well, what if you did this and then you added this to it and it went like, you know, went like this in this direction. Remember being a really young person and how you would create with your friends. You'd make believe or create new pictures. And sometimes it would just be the, you might, you know, the youngest generation's pictures and sort of rearrange them. Music is a good example of this. You know, music is a good example of all these new pictures and it's not just the picture. It's actually, there is a picture quality that goes with it too. And I remember learning this, there was a show recently at the, oh my goodness, the Center for Photography, the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles, which is such a great place. And if you live out here, go to that place. The shows are amazing. But there was a show called, Who Shot Rock and Roll? And what they do besides having all these brilliant, like just beautiful photographs from all these, these photographers all over the world. And in this case, it was the rock and roll photographers, but they also have a, they always make a little documentary or a video. And I remember learning, I learned in that video, watching that was that, and I hadn't thought about it because I, you know, I grew up in the rock and roll generation too. And I remember just listening to that and going, oh yeah, I get it. I'm a rock and roll photographer. I'm a rock and roll photographer. Actually, photography invented, like the rock photographers made it possible for there to be a whole new image about, about music. Rock stars were created by photographers. You need an image. It was a new picture. So all these photographers who just did this beautiful work, they showed a picture and everybody wanted the picture. Everybody was like, oh, I want that. I want to be that. I want to become that. I want to see, you know, I can visualize myself at that. I can see myself standing on that stage, holding that electric guitar. And it's very cool. It's a new, it was a new picture. I had one of my favorite teachers ever in Chicago, Ken Jones, told a story years ago. He used to sell guitars years ago before he became the, the, you know, the founder of Envision in Chicago. But he would tell a story about when he was selling guitars, there were different ways people would, you know, sell guitars. And he would tell a story about when he was selling guitars, he would tell a story about when he was selling guitars. And he would tell a story about when he was buying guitars. So the people who were going, coming in for the acoustic, it was all about the feeling. Like they had to sit with the guitar and kind of feel it and, and, you know, sort of be with the guitar. And it had to mesh for them, this particular acoustic guitar. They had to feel it. But the people who were buying the electric guitars needed the mirror. They needed to go stand with themselves, holding the guitar, looking in the mirror. They needed the picture. They needed the image. They needed the visual. And it was just, I always, he always just laughed when he said it, but it was true. I could see that. And, you know, as a, as a clairvoyant himself and a clairvoyant teacher, that was the point he was making. And I, I thank him for that picture. It's always stayed with me. But that's, that's part of what you're doing. You're working on creating new pictures, or if you're not there yet, you, you're probably kind of on the outskirts of your new pictures, looking, looking in and saying, okay, what, what do I want to, how do I, you know, what's the picture? So when you start to work with your own energy and your own new pictures, it's, it's pretty important to give yourself permission to have space. So that's where destruction comes in. And destruction, yes, letting go. It's not about destroying as a hurting thing or a harmful thing. It's really about like letting go in order to create something new. Often you have to let go of the old. There's a destruction or releasing so that a transformation can happen. And it's scary as hell sometimes to destroy because sometimes you're like, well, why I'm not ready to let that go yet. Cause I don't know what the new thing is yet, but it's absolutely important and imperative that you do that. You trust that if you know, your energy is no longer in an old thing, or it's not, you need to change the picture. Then, you get to blow the picture. So blowing a picture means you're pulling your energy out of an old picture. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not that the picture was wrong. It's just that you're saying, okay, I need to, I need my energy back here. So now I can start to create the new. And we all need that. You know, when you're, whenever you're creating something new, whether it's a new job or a new way of living, a new relationship, a new way of seeing yourself, you do destroy an old picture. You do let go of what was that's, that's wonderful. And it's also absolutely important for you to pull your energy out. So even if you're, even if you like your old creation and there's nothing wrong with it, you may just be growing and you might need some room to expand, you know, some space for you to move beyond where you were, what you were doing within yourself. Within yourself. That includes within your own self image. And it's kind of neat. And one of the things that I've noticed over the years, I've done this many, many times, and then you have too, but I've many, many times transformed or changed. And it's never like it's a complete about face. It's always that there's another step or another step or, you know, something kicks in and I'm like, I go, oh yeah, now it's time for me to do this. And I'll move into the next level of it. And it's, it's wonderful. Like I get to that place and go, oh, yeah, now I know this and I can trust it, but it's always a little dicey leading up to it before I know it. And for you, you may, you may notice for yourself that it might be, sometimes you just have this sort of, eh, you're on the edge of something and you're not sure what it is yet. You're feeling it. And you just know that there's a new level. There's a new thing. And there is all that trusting and letting go. And it's very, very fun to do. But I will say right now is the time to create new pictures. So you might've already done your destruction. You might already be saying, okay, Chris, I already let go of everything. Like what, when is it coming? When am I getting this new thing? And I'm not, I don't make predictions. You're working on the new thing. That's the key right now is a great time to get in there to do your dreaming, you know, get the imagination thing going, dream your dreams. Don't hold back. This is a time for speaking. Truth to yourself, create your new pictures by speaking truth to yourself. And by starting to really let yourself imagine and letting yourself imagine from a place of, um, that everything is possible. You know, everything, if it feels right to you and it sits right within you, then it's your picture. And if it doesn't, if you keep trying to fit yourself into another picture, then you might get a little stuck. Well, everyone, this is psychic everyday radio. I'm Chris Cahill and I'm your show host. You're listening at skid row studios.com and we are real radio on the internet. Tonight is a pre-recorded show. I'm very happy to be celebrating my dad's 80th birthday. And I'm very happy that you're listening and thank you for doing so. Um, just want to give you some heads up on some of the things I will be doing a little, little, um, little self promo. I have new classes happening. Now I'm starting to teach live again. So if you are in Southern California and you're looking for classes in the psychic meditation, energy healing workshops, all of that, that is what I do. That's what I teach. And I'm starting to sign up my classes. It'll begin the end of May, May 20th. They begin. Um, so go to my website, chriskahill.com. If you are interested in knowing more, I have a free newsletter you can sign up for. I give away free recorded meditation. I also do recorded classes. I work with people online a lot too. So there's all this stuff coming. There's a lot of new, a lot of new creations coming on my end as well. Um, plus I'll be doing another live workshop probably the first Sunday in June. So, you know, let me know if you want to know more, get more information and I'll send that to you. Um, also there is just so much else happening here and you'll, you'll be hearing as we, as we continue. So back to the show. So, um, so I'm going to stop sharing my screen. I'm going to stop sharing my screen. I'm going to stop sharing my screen. I'm going to stop sharing my screen. I'm going to stop sharing my screen. One thing I'm noticing with people too is not only are they hitting all the kind of like the, just the deep stuff or the, um, the big explosions or the big transformation or the changes or the things that just feel right to them. And they're going, okay, you know what? I really, I really need to focus more of my attention on my writing. So I need to take it, uh, you know, kind of rearrange my other time, or I need to focus more of my attention on my painting or on my, business or on my creating or this or that. And they're, they're rearranging their energy and rearranging their energy just means new priorities. People are doing it with new priorities. They're more consciously so too, many people, and that might be you. And if you've been in that space where you're just getting ready to kind of jump into putting your energy into some new things, one thing I'd suggest is don't hold back. You know, one of the, one of the most well, I would say one of the most difficult things you can do to yourself is to hold back right now is not the time to hold back. It might be a good time to pace yourself to kind of, you know, it's not like you have to jump in at breakneck speed, but to, to really kind of give yourself the space to take the time you need to do the thing you're doing. So that gets back to speaking truth to yourself. What do you really want? Now, this is what I want you to do. I want you to do the thing you're doing. I wanted to get at earlier where a lot of people are getting stuck is in the thinking. They're thinking about it. Now thinking, I am not anti-thinking. I will just tell you this. Let me explain what I'm talking about. It's not about thinking. It's about overthinking. So rather than listening to their own gut instincts or their own deepest wishes or their own hearts or their, how their body feels or what they really want on some level, they're listening to something outside of themselves. You know, it might be programming about what you're supposed to do. It's practical to do this. Well, you know what? I'm just as practical as the next person. I believe you have to pay your bills on time if you don't want to create a problem for yourself. That does help. You know, it's not that we always do, but that does help. It really helps to kind of make sure you, you know, do things that you know you need to do for yourself. On the other hand, there's the practical that goes into resistance. So the resistance of not doing the thing that you know you want to do or need to do to take the step to create the new thing, and you're in the resistance. You just resist it. You might be afraid. That doesn't make you wrong, but it's good to acknowledge. Okay, I've been afraid to take this step. Okay, back to one of the, one of my favorite suggestions for that. Learn how to ground yourself. Learn how to start to work with your own spirit. Get in there. That's a good thing. Great way to go about releasing those fears and releasing self-doubt and releasing overthinking. Because overthinking just has you going around and around and around on that hamster wheel, and you can't get off. You know, it becomes exhausting. That's, these are some of the people I've been talking to lately too. Some of my, you know, different people who I work with or that I know, just when we get caught up in that thinking, thinking, thinking, often it's, it's negative thinking. It's not like you're thinking, you know, you're not thinking, you're not thinking, you're not thinking all the happy thoughts. You're thinking usually the, oh no, what if this goes wrong? Or I can't, or I'm doing it wrong, or I'm this, or I'm, you know, all that stuff. That's learned behavior. We watch other people doing it. We think it's, you know, this is what you have to do. Or we kind of get a little thing in our, be in our bonnet where we think, okay, I have to go prove myself to everybody. I, in order to do the thing I really want to do, I have to go make sense of it and then make sure everybody else knows it makes sense. So it's okay. So I don't have to explain myself. And I have a really great solution for that. Just decide you don't have to explain yourself to begin with. You're going to save yourself a lot of trouble. I mean that. If you feel like you have to explain what your heart is telling you, if you're trying to get somebody else to sign on to your new pictures, your new dreams, and so you're, you're, then you find yourself sort of, adjusting or shuffling, kind of placating or, or kind of doing something smaller or taking it down a notch because your dreams are too big for someone else. Or you might, you're afraid that, you know, if you present them the big picture, they're going to laugh at you. They may or may not. They could just be your fear. My suggestion is how about if you just decide to mind your own business and keep it to yourself and start to work on it. And if you're not, then you're going to have to do it. And if you're not, and then find the people who will support you. Because they're, they're there. There are lots of people creating new dreams right now. Lots of them. And if you've been afraid, excuse me, if you've been afraid to do yours and you've been holding back, start looking, start looking for the people, other people who are doing that and who can, who can have you being seen in a really wonderful way and creating your new pictures. Different people. I have friends who do this kind of work who are, I mean, they may not do it the way I do, but they're creating new pictures, working with people in their businesses or on a healing level or, you know, on a creative level. And we all really do encourage each other. There's a lot of creativity happening at a very small level right now. And I don't, I don't think the small is not good, but a lot of people creating businesses and becoming entrepreneurs. Or opening their own, doing their own thing or becoming self-employed or all of this, like there's all this creativity rather than a so-called difficult economy, knocking everybody down and stopping the creativity. It's actually increased it. That's the gift of the time we live in. Our creativity is actually jacked up. It's increased. And I'm not talking Hollywood. They're kind of not paying attention. I'm talking you and people, you know, who are creating. People you may or may not see generally in, you know, your mainstream press. You just kind of don't. But we're doing it. People are creating. And it's wonderful. It's wonderful to see. So continuing, here we go. The pictures, your new pictures, that's your feelings, your dreaming, your imagination, your trusting that you know there's something you've always known you wanted to do, or you've always had this, I really want to do this. I want to do this thing. So that's you. Then there's letting go, creating more space, stepping away from what you need to, or giving yourself more room on some level by kind of changing or finagling how you use the energy. Because your energy is important in all of this. Your energy is your spirit. It's also, it's you. It's what you have to bring to the table. Energy is everything. So if you're putting yourself in a position where you're like, putting your energy into something you do want, you know, you're moving it in that direction, even if you don't know what the final outcome or the form is. And you know, the way I see it as a creator is there's never really a final outcome. You're always transforming something. There's always a, if you're, if you're working with it and you're keeping the energy moving, you're constantly recreating. It's beautiful. It's, it's how it works. And so that goes along with the destroying. Because creating and destroying is the way you're creating. And so that's the way you're destroying. Creating, destroying. Two sides of the same coin. You know, they equal a whole. And destroying again is just really about releasing or letting go or transforming energy, moving on, creating something new. Faith and trust. Mentioned those already. Those are a big part of this. Faith in yourself. Faith in your vision. And especially those of you who are creating something that has not been done before. And so that's the way you're creating. And so that's the way you're creating. And so that's the way you're creating. And so that's the way you're creating. And never existed before, or you just don't know it. You don't see an example for it. That's one of the, one of the things that, back to that rock and roll photography example, all of a sudden people all over the world could see a picture of what it looked like to do that thing. And they started creating their new pictures. There was this new level of permission for this star picture or this rock star picture or this creating, you know, music on that level. The same thing goes for, for example, you know, the way women are transforming on the planet, female energy, the more women seen in a positive light in the world, you know, hello, not just exploited, but seen on another level as being human. I was joking about this recently with a friend. We're both about the same age and we're, we're making jokes about, and because we do, you have to have a little bit of a dark humor about this, but I know a lot of, I know a lot of actresses in and out here in, you know, the West coast and how their roles change. And this is the joke we were having, like the roles that are available to women as they get older. And I just looked at her and said, yeah, because we're scary. You know, a 20 something is not as scary as you and I. And so that's part of the picture. It's scary. And I don't mean that is a bad thing. I'm like, yeah, you know, there's a power that comes in with life over time. And so when you're creating a picture, you're creating a picture of a woman. And so that's part of the picture. And so when you're creating your new pictures, one of the hardest things that can come up is when you don't see yourself portrayed, but those things are changing, you know, all those, because now everybody has the ability to use imagery to create visually. We have everything from, you know, Vine to Instagram, to all the blogs and the photography and people showing imagery everywhere. We're living in a time of clairvoyance. So while you may still see in your mainstream imagery, these particular kinds of, you know, this is what's real, or this is who's out there, or this is who makes up the government, or this is who, who like runs the world or, you know, all that crap. It really is changing at a very core bottom grounding level with the way people are creating pictures. This includes you. And you get to do that. New pictures. What about creating a new picture, even if you have no idea how we're going to get there, but what if you had a new picture that we all get to kind of create a really loving, peaceful environment, you know, with each other on this planet. And like, you know, even in the face of it looks so insurmountable and how are we ever going to do that? And oh my God, it's possible to have a picture like that and to really own it and say, but I can see this. It's actually one of my pictures. It's not, it's not a picture. It's not a picture. It's not a picture. It's not a picture. It's not perfect. It's not utopia. We're human beings and we can be pretty jerky, but we also can be pretty amazing. And so I look at it from the place of, well, yeah, the highest possible way of being, that's something we haven't done yet. At least not, you know, in, in written history. Haven't seen that one. We're transforming. We're creating new pictures. So there you are. You're imagining. Don't limit yourself by what you see out there. You're not going to be able to do that. You're not going to be able to do that. There in the world, don't limit yourself by, by how, you know, others limit their vision. And that's, that's another part of this. We were all raised in families and neighborhoods and groups and communities and, and every group, every family, every community has its own permission level for how big the pictures can be. And they might be based on what, how people are experiencing their lives or, you know, what some religions, what some schools said, hello, what some schools said, or some way of being. Here are the pictures that you, that you're supposed to, that you're allowed to have. One of my favorite people to trash, and I have done this for many, many years, is this, the, the high school guidance counselor. And I'm really sorry if you are one and you're a good one. I'm, I don't mean you, but here it's not even that it's the guidance, the guidance counselor who does this. The guidance counselor is sort of like, the figurehead for here are the pictures that you fit into. And I remember doing this when I was in high school and I had to take a, you know, one of those tests. I think I was a senior in high school and my picture was, I'm going to art school. At least that's the picture I was working. And my, and actually it was really great because I had my mother on board for that one. She really helped me get, you know, she, she pushed me so much when I didn't believe my, in myself. But so here I am in high school with this picture, I'm going to art school and I have no, no interest in learning how to be a secretary and I have no interest in learning how to do any of these things that this woman is telling me I should learn how to do. Because I didn't want to go to business school and I didn't want to go to regular school. She's like, well, you better have a practical skill then. And I say, well, I do have a practical skill. I'm an artist, which actually it is. It's a practical skill because you need your vision. You need your creativity and your artistry to create new pictures. And if you can create something, create an image, a vision, you can make it happen. Hello, that's clairvoyance too. If you can see it, you can create it. Ha ha. I bet you didn't know that, but it's true. Or you might've. Hey everybody, just a reminder. If you're, if you just tuned in recently, I am Chris Cahill. You're listening to psychic everyday radio at skidrowstudios.com, real radio on the internet and continuing with a show about creating a new picture. So you're dreaming, you're imagining, you're letting yourself start to trust your own vision. You're looking at your pictures. Meanwhile, you know, you're living your life every day too, and taking care of things and doing what you need to do. And then you're, you're asking yourself, what am I through with? What can I let go of? What is it that I, that I absolutely need to step away from or I need to free up the energy around. So there's the destroying, the releasing, and that includes facing that fear, whatever that is. Well, then it's really, and has been all along through the whole thing, it's really time to kind of buckle down and do the work. Get in and do the work. This is a really good time for that. So some of the work might be that you're going in and digging in and realizing what it is you need to let go of. Every year at tax time, which we just had, I realized this yet again, because every year I get better at doing my records and I get better at letting go of an old unconsciousness about that. And so for me, and that may not be your thing, but for me, that's like become a real source of pride. I'm like, oh yeah, oh yeah, I can do it this way. I know I can learn how to use a spreadsheet this way. And it makes it easier then because, you know, I'm self-employed. So I have to, there's a lot. It's very complicated. So every year, that's my, that's kind of where I do the work about that stuff. But one thing I've noticed over the years is the more I dig in and do the work on that level and kind of really ground it and organize it more. And I used to completely be the opposite years ago. I was so in resistance to this, but the more I do this now, the better it makes it for what I'm building on top. It's kind of like I had to destroy an old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old, way of being unconscious around those records and around all that stuff and turn it into something that's much more interesting in my view, which is not being in a panic mode about it or not having to freak out about it the way I used to. You know, it's still aggravating, but whatever, you know, it's part of it. You have to do that. So it's going in and doing the work. Every day, meditation is another way I show up and do my work. Look for you and look at your work. Look at your work. Look at your work. Look at your work. Look at your work. Look at yourself. Like what, how are the, what are the ways that you use to do your work? And it might be that it's, you know, you're, you're writing in your journal and you're really digging in or you're, or you're, you know, working out or you're meditating or you're just showing up and organizing, doing your thing or making those calls or, or part of the work, a lot of the work actually is that emotional and spiritual work. So if you find you're trying to create these new things, these new pictures for yourself, and you've been feeling really, you know, getting caught in the fear or the negativity or the worry or the, you know, stuck in some of those energies, that's the work. It's actually the work, not to stay in those things and go around and around and around and try to solve things you can't solve, but to do the emotional work of saying hello to that energy and realizing, oh yeah, if I'm going to create these new pictures, sometimes the new place I'm going to forces me, just the, the desire to go there or the fact that I am going there, it's forcing me to deal with the stuff that I, I just can't bring with, you know, just imagine, it's kind of like every time you move house, if you've moved more than a couple of times, you've probably gotten pretty good at it. But every time you move house, there's that question of what am I packing? What do I want so much that I'm actually willing to pack it in a box and move it? You know, and carry it or deal with it or unpack it later or dust it or put it away. And I've moved so many times over the years that I'm at the place now and I do it even before I'm ever even thinking about moving. I'm like, what has to go? What is out of here? What am I getting rid of again? What needs to leave? When I moved to Los Angeles from Chicago, that was a big time because there was really only so much we could fit in the truck. It was very funny. We were so unconscious about how much we could bring. And I'm like, oh, you know what stays behind? All the old family furniture that I was holding on to for people. It was great. It was like a whole release of energy, letting go of all this energy. And I went, oh my gosh, I've been holding on to that. And that was just me holding on to it. And so for you, what is it you're getting to do the work on? See, notice how doing the work is also about letting go. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. It's great. You can do that with love and with forgiveness. It might be that part of doing the work for you is letting go of old negative self pictures, self images, you know, where you've really had your energy invested in. I'm only this much. I can only have this much. Or there's something wrong with me. I have to figure it out. I have to solve this thing that's wrong with me. Well, I got news for you. There's nothing wrong with you. But if you have this thing that's wrong with you, then you have to figure it out. If you have a picture like that in your space, if you have something that you've been trying to solve that's like that, you have a picture that there's something wrong with you. I think we all kind of, especially all the people I know who are a little different, a little unique, artists, creators, the visionaries, the people creating stuff, may have run into pictures like that at some point in our lives because we were not being cookie cuttered. We weren't going to stay in the mold. Right. Right. This is part of our evolution as human beings on this planet. It's breaking out of that mold, you know, finding who you are. And sometimes who you are, there isn't a picture for in the world because you have to create it. So, you know, back to the rock and roll photographers, they all of a sudden made it fine for people to have those dreams. That became a new dream. And it didn't stop just there, obviously. That was kind of one of the things that made it so important. It was one of the beginnings of it. I mean, there were always the photographers who photographed the stars and the, you know, the heads of state and just there were just different ways of doing it. But this was a new way to work. So if you are creating your new pictures and you're doing your work and you run into the picture that says there's something wrong with me, I have to solve this one first. That's a tough one. And that's one that you actually don't have to solve. But don't let me convince you. Because I don't think I will. I'll just tell you about it. But it's something that this is part of you doing your work. That picture may have come in when you were a child because of how others accepted you or what kind of, you know, whatever kind of emotional support you had growing up. Or if you didn't get what you needed or you did get more than you needed. Or you just felt so loyal to the group around you that you kind of, you didn't go into your new pictures. Because you didn't want to step away from everyone. You didn't want to, you know, you didn't want to hurt somebody else. And sometimes we think we're hurting people when we really become who we are. And then when you get into your own work and doing your own work, you realize actually when I'm becoming who I am, I'm giving. And that's you too. You're giving. You give. When you start to create your new pictures and they're yours and you're working toward them. And you're having the courage. You have the courage to step into them and to create them. You are giving. There's an absolute gift coming from you to others because we need you to do that. Each of us, you know, we need each of us to be who we are because what you're bringing, it's like it's a great big puzzle and you just have a piece of it. But you're the only one who can have the piece of the puzzle that you have. You're the only one who can really be that. You're the only one who can really be that person. If you try to do it like somebody else is doing it, you'll never do it the way you can do it. You'll match to someone else's way of being or doing or think in order to succeed, you have to be like that person. But actually, it's your job now to find out who you are and to go in that direction. So there's the doing the work. Doing the work. Doing the work is and it's not that there's one neat little way to do it. Sometimes doing the work just means that for a while you step away from what was and you kind of give yourself the space to start to realize what you want, what you do want to create, what you're getting ready for, what is coming next, what is going to be happening. So it's a big deal. And that's what you're doing. That's, you know, that's creating new pictures really is not a difficult thing. It's not hard at all to create a new picture. You can do it without even thinking about it. There's no effort, no time and space required. Creating a new picture is a spiritual act. It's a spiritual activity. It's you, the being, visualizing. You might think about it. But when you're seeing the picture, you're creating on a visual level. And when you transform the picture, you change the picture, you add to the picture, you're doing the same thing. So creating the new pictures is really all about you being able to let your spirit kind of work it. You know, you are working on a spiritual level. So back to the overthinking, which I know you hear me talk about quite a bit. Okay. That's where I'm seeing people get stuck. So they're in the kind of going around and around and around, but not getting off the merry-go-round, not getting off the Ferris wheel. It just keeps going around. The way off of that is to go into the place of spirit. That's the mind taking over. That's your analyzer, your analytical part of you. The part of you that thinks it knows everything. The part of you that thinks it knows everything does not know everything. Knowing is a different level. Knowing is on a being level, a spiritual level. The part of you that thinks it has the whole thing is sometimes working from fear. Especially when it holds you back, when it stops you. This is one of my favorite authors, Seth Godin, talks about how that's the lizard brain. It's an evolutionary thing. It was meant to keep us safe, meant to keep us from veering off or getting caught up in the world. Or getting eaten by some animal or something. It's like an old evolutionary part of ourselves. But it's really, I see it in terms of human and present time. It's often stepping away from what has been allowed to be or what can exist. And you see that right now too on the planet as the new pictures are being created. How many people are just holding on to with dear life to the old pictures of how things should be. You know what I'm talking? Those who really want everything to stay the old way. You know, I love it when people say, oh, the best times that ever existed. The 1950s or the 1960s, the 1970s, yawn. You know, it's really right here right now is a great time. But it is about letting go of what was. Certainly bringing, you know, our energy forward from it. And having learned from it and being grateful to it. I'm grateful to the old. I'm grateful to the 1970s. I had awesome clothes in the 1970s. Not kidding. And I still remember that with a lot of happiness. Going, wow, actually, it really wasn't such a bad time. But there's more than that. There's way more than that. I'm just being silly. Just that there is so much that you get to create when you're right here. This is the place in present time that you create a picture. And if your energy is still caught in the old. And you're needing to move ahead into the present time. Or into the future. You're creating the future right here, right now. With your own energy. And so on that note. One thing I want to say is. I'm creating a new future too. And I am letting you know that I am stepping away from doing Psychic Everyday Radio. I thank all of you who've been just really instrumental. And showing up and calling and listening. And all you wonderful fans. People who've been letting me know how much you like the show. And I'm creating a new picture. And I don't know exactly what it is yet. But a lot of it has to do with teaching. And with being really on a more active level. Like up front and center. And eventually I hope to have another show. And I love Skid Row Studios. I want to thank Skid Row so much for the opportunity to do this show. I've done this, like as I mentioned, over a year now. There's so many wonderful other show hosts here. And other shows. And I hope that you stick around and you listen to them. But I want to thank in particular Jeremy. And I'm really grateful to him. Thank you, Jeremy. Thank you so much, Chris. It's been great having you here. And we really appreciate everything that you've done for us. Well, thank you. I love you guys. Love you too, Chris. Thank you. What a beautiful note to go out on. I just really, really like everybody who's here. So, thank you all so much. If you're looking for me, you can find me at chriscahill.com. Also, psychiceveryday.com is still my blog. That may change down the road. It may change the news. It may change the news. It may change the name. And, you know, sign up for my mailing list. It's a free weekly newsletter. And I let you know what's happening. And I let you know about classes and all kinds of specials. And so there. And I hope you stick around and listen to Skid Row Studios too. But thank you all so much. Bye-bye.
