I also write and I teach. I'm an artist. So I do a lot of stuff having to do with energy and with spirit. And tonight's show is about that kind of variation about being able to have your own spirit and not worry about it making sense. Being able to have your own awareness of energy and not worrying about that making sense. Because some of the things that don't make sense in the world to people include how you perceive energy or how you are aware of something or other really how you feel too. It might make perfect sense to you. You get it. But somebody else might have a hard time understanding where you're coming from. And from my perspective, that's not a problem for you. And if you've been making it your problem, then that might be getting in your way, might be getting in the way of you being able to, you know, kind of have it for yourself. And be able to explore what it is that you're doing and how things are working for you. So in other words, it may be a good thing that you're not making sense. You know, there's a lot of things in the world that really don't make sense. I'll probably name a few of them as we go through the show. But that's not really what we're going to do. I'm not going to go in and solve any of that. That's not the point. You as a being make a choice you change, you step out from an old way of being or living or having your life. And it may not make sense to the people who knew you from before. So in other words, you do something different. You kind of step out of the norm, you change. And when you do that, sometimes people take it a little personally. And furthermore, some of them let you know that it's you who's not making sense. So this is just one way of looking at this. You make some different sort of choices or, you know, step out and decide to have more of your own life for you. And it may not make sense to others who really like the rules that have been, that everybody's been agreeing to follow. What happens sometimes is, you know, you get over it. You, one day you just get over it and realize that you might need to be around people who are tuned in sort of along the same wavelengths you are. So for example, if you come from a really conservative area and you're not conservative, you just don't see things that way. It's not that the other people are wrong. It's just simply that perhaps you don't really fit into where you came from. Or maybe you are conservative and you come from a family that's not so, and you want to go and be around people who see things your way. It's just simply about being able to find where you fit. And it might be that you've been going through life not really because you're not a conservative. But it's just simply about being feeling like you fit. And that's okay too. So if you're not making sense, it's not necessarily a bad thing. Because there's another part of this too. It might be that you've been in judgment of yourself. You know, in judgment thinking that you should be happy. You should feel good. You know, with all the success you have, it should work. It doesn't really make sense to you that you're not. And that can be kind of a thing you're doing to yourself, really. If you get caught up in the judgment of making sense or not making sense, you might be overthinking a little bit. Kind of going into that place where you just judge yourself harshly or you allow other people's judgment of you to take over rather than just decide to have being who you are. So part of making sense or not being who you are is to be able to make sense of yourself. And that's kind of a thing you're doing to yourself. And part of not making sense really is that you get to be who you are. It's about having that seniority in your own space. Now again, this is Chris Cahill coming to you from Skid Row Studios. This is Psychic Every Day. And I'm doing a whole show about the energy of making sense or not making sense. If you've just joined me, welcome. And again, I will be giving readings to callers during the show. The number is 800-893-7000. There's a way, another way to look at this. And that is that if you've been getting stuck and the energy of having to make sense, you might have been feeling like you had to explain yourself. You've got some explaining to do. People are asking you to kind of, you know, explain what you're thinking or how things are. Why did you do that? When you live your life in a way that's uncomfortable for others, you're not going to be able to explain yourself. You're not going to be able to explain around you. You might handle some of this energy. You know, sometimes this can feel like trying to explain away all the stars up in the sky. So if you've been handling the demands to make sense to other people, sometimes that's just simply because you're stepping away from those old rules, those old ways of being or doing things. And it doesn't mean you're wrong. It just means that perhaps you don't fit anymore. Into that old picture, the old, you know, kind of like something you agreed to be in. Now, if you would like to create some more freedom for yourself, and that can be, you know, starting with the spirit of you, the spiritual freedom, that's actually the key here. Finding your way through your life according to you. But the thing that happens when you're not making sense or when you start to change in your life, you know, change like how things are working or what you're doing. And it's, again, just kind of falling flat or it's not happening or you're not getting, nobody gets you. It's not, you're not getting gotten. It's a tough time. It can be just, it can be a time where you just feel clouded or confused, not clear about what's happening. And added to that, if you're going through a time like that, where all of a sudden you don't fit, you're not getting what you want. You just don't feel like things fit anymore the way that they used to. It can be very difficult to keep putting your energy into where you were. So I'm not trying to paint a big doom and gloom picture here. To me, this is not a negative. I don't see any of this as being a bad thing. It looks to me like it's the time when things are starting to really kind of crack open or clear in a little way too. And sometimes before we get to that place where things are easier, clearer or brighter or easier to kind of see through, you go through the time when things feel really cloudy, sort of smoky, hard to see through the unconsciousness or the lack of clarity. So moving ahead, taking some steps and stepping into that brave new or bright new future for yourself is you deciding you're going to step up and create something for you that's true for you. So that is part of what makes it easier for you to grow, by the way, too. Now, there's another aspect to this too, which is that when you go through a time where things no longer kind of fit, you just don't feel like it's working, it's not happening where you're at. All of a sudden, you might feel like destroying things. And that's where it gets a little kind of dodgy or funny. And by destruction, what I mean is letting go of the old. Getting rid of the old ways of doing things. And it looks like I have got a caller. And I'd love to give my first reading here for this evening. So hi, welcome. Who's here? It's Jessie. Jessie, how are you? I'm in doom and gloom phase. Well, all right. Where are you calling from? I'm calling from Silver Lake. Right on. California. Excellent. Thank you. And I would love to give you a reading about this. So tell me, do you have a question or do you want me to take a look at something in particular? Well, the topic couldn't be more right on for where I am in my life right now. I'm typically like a very happy, positive person and just like, yeah, spiritual. And I've made some really big changes and taken some big steps and, you know, just ended a real life. I've had a really good relationship and ended my work and also my music project. And I'm just kind of like, wow, like kind of in shock and in the doom and gloom phase and not really, you know, hoping this is a phase. And it's just like what you said, it's really hard putting energy into things right now. Yeah. So I'm just really foggy. Okay. So I'm just going to take a look at that. And it's interesting because right before I took your call, I was about to say it would be so much more convenient if you didn't feel like chucking it all, the relationship, career, home, or that old self image you've outgrown. That was about, that was like going to be my next, you know, sentence. And here you are. So I'm going to take a look at that because what I see is, and I'll just, I'll just give you a basic overall, overall reading on when it looks like you're, what picture it looks like you're, you're moving out of or you're blowing. Yeah. Pulling your energy out of. And there's a picture I see that you, even though you had a lot of really wonderful, you had created quite a lot of wonderful things in your life for yourself and you were in agreement with and happy with what you had. And what I see is this picture of you feeling like you were a Jack in the box or a Jesse in the box, like popping up out of the box and then you'd have to go back into the box. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. that it was necessarily anybody else outside of you trying to make you go back into the box, but there's something as a control in your own space that had you feeling sort of kind of like stuck in the same patterns or the same box. And it's a big picture. Like this is a great big one. I see it as being a really kind of under the surface thing or a subconscious level, but the picture is you, you're, and I see, and then I see another picture here too of you boxing away at this, you know, kind of like in a gym where there's a bag that you can just practice on boxing away at the bag that's hanging from the ceiling above you and, and continuing to box and box away, but the bag doesn't go away. Nothing changes. It doesn't, it doesn't like, you know, move out of your way somehow. There's just this, this frustration picture of continuing to box away at this old, this old, this old, this old, this old, this old, this old, this old, this old, this old thing, but nothing. And I see that this, the picture in the gym looks like you being in that, that place trying to make something happen and nothing. It feels like you're, it's like, you feel like your feet are nailed to the spot or you're in one place and having a really tough time taking movement or action. And on the other hand, it looks like, so this looks to me like actually a dichotomy that you've been sort of sitting in, which is where one end is you feeling nailed to the floor or you're sitting on the floor and you're sitting on the floor and you're unable to move or unable to feel free enough in this. And then it looks like the other end of the dichotomy has you been feeling like you're completely ungrounded or out there. And there's been this back and forth between the two, kind of like a teeter totter, where you have been looking for a way off, kind of feeling like this is this, and it has been controlling you, this dichotomy. Dichotomies is simply, there's these two points, but you're owned by them. You know, in this particular case, you've been owned by both ends and that not that they were terrible, but that you've been trying to figure out how do you step away from this feeling of being run by this energy. And what I see is you're trying to find that neutral point of what, I mean, it looks to me like part of what you came in to do this lifetime was have a lot of freedom, was create a picture of freedom for yourself. And that's what it looks like you've been feeling you've been missing. And it's not to blame anyone else so much as you're trying to figure out what part of that is. And I think that's what you're trying to describe in this example, especially this example that you describe in this example that you describe this example that you describe this example that you describe this example that you describe this example that you describe this example that you describe this example that you describe this example that you describe this example that you describe this example that you describe it in some very, you know, just a very few words, but it's a much bigger concept than that. There's this picture of you wanting freedom, but then on the other hand, there's you standing there saying, I don't even know what that means. I mean, can I have freedom and be in a relationship? Well, sure. I thought I could. Can I have freedom and have my, you know, my art, my music, my career? Sure. I thought I could, but I don't know. I don't feel it. So it looks to me like you're trying to make something real that wasn't real, or it started not feeling real. And that has to do with this freedom picture. And when I see you with a next step with this, kind of, you know, like taking a bit of a step away from some of this stuff. The other part of this too, it looks like what you've been trying to do is get rid of the unreal energy that's been making it, where you've been feeling sort of artificially separate from something that's really deep inside of you. And so you've been, that's all connected with all those old self images. And so you've kind of really pulled your energy out of everything. You're not doing anything halfway, just to be sure you're going to destroy it all. And that's not, I'm not seeing that as a negative or a positive, just simply, this has been how you do it. And so what I see is you're, you're, you're as a next step, not what you should do, Jesse, but just what it looks like in terms of taking a look at this, because it looks like part of it is, you know, not just the doom and gloom, but you haven't been able to be clear. You haven't been able to clearly see it. And I see this, this picture of a next step of giving yourself permission to get your space. I mean, that's part of this is you feel like you didn't have your space somehow. And that's what it looks like you're looking for. That is the, that to me looks like the way that you get the neutrality, the neutral point in that place you've been stuck between the two, you know, the two kind of far reaching ends, the dichotomy. I don't know if this is making sense, but, but it's a bigger level picture of how you see yourself in the world. You're redefining how you see yourself and you're tired of creating your self-image based on how everyone else sees you and, and what you've created in the past. So it's been tough for you because you're not trusting the self-images you once had when you see that others had them too. And I'm not saying that that was right or wrong, just simply that you're going, well, I want to know. I want to trust it. You know, so you're, there's an independence that you're, you're trying to have spiritually. So it looks like it's been hard for you to trust and see clearly. This is not an easy one or a fast one that you're going through, but it doesn't have to be torture either. And one thing I'd say too, is your next step is take a look and see if everything that you're destroying, is that really what you want to destroy? Some of it you may, and you might be really feeling that you're getting some, a breath of fresh air and other, other stuff. You may be like, Hmm, maybe I don't want to destroy that. So it's just up to you or it's the way you're transforming it too. So it's a big deal what you're going through. Yeah. Anyway, I've been feeling like moving away to just to even get more space. So, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, it'll be helpful if you can do things like, you know, give, give yourself permission to not have to make sense, which is really a big part of what the show is about tonight. How you're feeling. Yeah. How you're feeling. That may not make sense to a lot of people, but, and to you, it may not make sense, but you know there's something there that you're having to get to the bottom of. So when I look at this, I don't see it as something that's simple or clear, but that doesn't mean it's bad. It's just tough. You're redefining. And I also see that where you have in the past been content to sort of rise above it or soar above it, but I also see that as kind of floating above it. You're tired of floating above it. You're trying to get in and make it real. There's something you're trying to make real. And that's real according to you, not according to anybody else. Because real, it can be a judgment too. If somebody else says, well, you're not real. And you're like, well, yes I am. This is real to me. And right now what's real to you may not make sense to others. Yeah. I think it was your first episode. You talked about like your truth, people having their truth, and you having your own truth. And that kind of, it really helped me a lot because it wasn't anything to argue or fight about with anyone else. It was just like, wow, this is my truth. Right. And maybe I can't explain it to you, but this is what I'm going through. Exactly. And that's you trying to find how do you ground in your own truth and make it real? How does that work for you? And what I see, is not that there's any one right way, but that there is the way that you're trying to figure out, you're trying to create, you're trying to make real. And where in the past you might've been content to let someone else take that over, whoever that person was, anybody, you're not anymore. Right. So you're kind of having a revolution. They can be messy sometimes. Definitely. Yeah, it's been messy. Yeah. Yeah. No, it looks like it. And you might want to be easy on yourself or be nice. It takes time. Okay? Yeah. Okay. Well, thank you. Thank you so much. You're welcome. Thanks for calling in and thanks for listening. And I hope you enjoy the show. Okay, thanks. Okay. Bye-bye. So back to what I'm doing with this show tonight. And again, this is Chris Cahill, psychic every day on skidrowstudios.com. You can listen to this show live most Wednesdays from seven till eight o'clock Pacific time. And tonight we're, I'm live and I'm also giving readings. If you'd like to get a reading during the show, the number is 800-893-9562. And I'm doing a show about not making sense. So yeah, the last call, I'm doing a show about not making sense. So yeah, the last call, I'm doing a show about not making sense. So yeah, the last call, I'm doing a show about not making sense. I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about I'm talking about through destroying everything, looking for where's the problem, where it must be in here somewhere, there's a problem, I've got to step away from all this, it's not working. That can be pretty rough. And sometimes it may just be that you're trying to get to the core of what is going on within you. You know, the thing that you're trying to really find, that can be, you know, a challenge. So, sometimes when you do this, again, you're really stepping away from what other people are interested in keeping together. If somebody else is interested in keeping things a certain way, and you know, if that person, for example, is your boss, is the place you work, well, you know, your boss is going to do that, keep things going a certain way. That's his or her prerogative, they're right. And you may have no say at all, but all of a sudden, one day you may just... look and see, well, this job no longer, I just don't fit into this, I have to go. It's just too hard, it takes too much energy to come back in and try to do this. And the other part of this too, is you might have held yourself back from changing, you know, from changing you, from transforming, because you were waiting for other people to get it. You're waiting for other people to decide that, you know, to either agree or to decide that it was okay. And I would just say... you don't have to explain yourself. If you find you've been holding back, maybe you want to change that. Okay, I have another caller here. I'd like to give another reading and hi, you're live and at Psychic Everyday on Skid Row Studios. Who's this? Hi, you are on the air, person who I am saying hello to now. Hello? Hi, yes, who is this? This is Austin. Austin. Austin, thank you for calling. And would you please tell our audience, where are you calling from? I'm calling from North Hollywood. Right on. Well, I'm giving readings. Do you have a comment or do you want, would you like a reading? Oh, I'm calling for a reading. Right on, good, good. Do you have a question? Yeah, I do have a question. So, I've been listening and I've been listening to, you know, what you've been saying about, you know, not having to explain yourself, but I'm feeling a little bit more like I'm in a mental state. I'm feeling sort of like I am wondering if the universe could explain itself to me. It seems like I've been losing a lot of things lately, like I lost my job, I've lost friendships, I've lost sometimes my balance and cut my finger yesterday. And so I'm just wondering, you know, how does that, how does that fit in with, you know, trying to find your balance back? I'm wondering especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially especially making sense it's about the fact that you're destroying some things you're destroying some old pictures and some old ways of being because they're no longer true for you in present time and here's what that looks like the the that I see just the the picture as I look there's a picture that you are um you're gardening in this great big rose garden kind of like in an English rose garden and you've got your gardening hat on it's really a pretty hat but it's also like a bee hat you know like it's got a netting for the face and you're you've got a pair of really pretty gardening gloves on and you've got some rose clippers and you're going through this garden that has tons of rose bushes and they're all really grown they're very big they're very um grown in and you're realizing oh my goodness these these used to be so pretty and they had space and now there's so much here that I can't see the roses for the bushes like there's just too much too much has to be big and they're also very thorny so you've you've had to protect your arms with long sleeves you've got this these gloves this hat the whole deal and you're going in and you're at first just clipping a little tiny bit at a time from the very edge and it still isn't working you can't see the roses so you have to go in and you're starting to get like more ferocious kind of like going in and clipping off like really just chopping off whole branches of these rose bushes to get to this source to get to the thing that's, you know, like so that you can see because you're having a hard time enjoying the garden because there's too much stuff. And there's all this. And at first when everything was growing, you're like, oh, this is good. It's growing. There's a lot here. I, you know, I should just be happy and enjoy it. It's kind of taking care of itself. And now you're at this place where you realize I've got to go in and clip away. You know, it's kind of like weeding out a patch of something that is growing too thickly together. Nothing's going to grow very well because it's just too, too much there. So what I see is you're in the middle of weeding out. And some of the stuff you're weeding out is the stuff you keep replanting. You keep replanting the things that are, you're, you're now going in and saying, okay, I replanted that, but it's not working. So I'm getting rid of it. And even if you in the body are saying, well, I don't want to get rid of that. I wanted to hold on to that one. But then there's the, you, the being saying, but no, I'm, I'm done with that. I have to let go of that. So there's, it looks like you're having a little bit of a battle going on inside of your space between you and you. It's sort of like this, what's working for me, what's not working for me. And there's this whole redefinition. And I actually see underneath it that some of what you're running into is you hitting some of your biggest fear. You know, the places where you're the most afraid about letting go of things. And it's not that you're walking around as a fearful person. It's just simply that this energy in your space and also the energy of this destruction, makes you really anxious because you, you feel like you haven't had control over it. And what I see is actually, it's not that you were able to control it all, but it looks like what you've been trying to do is maintain it at a, at a not uncomfortable level, which is the same, which is different from comfortable and not uncomfortable level until you're ready for something else. And there's a picture of you getting ready to like, you're learning how to use the sailboat before you can actually go out in it. Right. And you're learning how to, you know, tie up the lines and how to feel comfortable with the way the wind, you know, having to work in conjunction with the wind, which you have no control over and the water, which you have no control over. And so, but you can control the boat to a certain extent, as long as you work with the wind and water when you're out on it. Got it. So you're, you're going through a time where some of what you're destroying or what is being destroyed, isn't making sense. But I see this other level of you, this higher level of you saying, I'm just done with that. I'm done with that old way of doing things. Like, you know, for example, the people who you've let go of, some of that was actually way more conscious. You were done with those kinds of friendships. So you were tired of sowing those old seeds. You wanted to create something different. Right. And the job too, it looks like though, yes, you wanted to have a job. This was not the kind of job you were hoping to continue keeping. I mean, or maybe it was. But it was. And so, and so, and so, and so, and so, and so, and so, and so, and so, and so, intended to, to go away the way it did. But the picture is that it's not the thing. There's something else. I see there's a bigger place you're trying to work from right now. Yeah. Something bigger. Yeah, that makes sense. It's been, it's been hard because it's scary because you're, there's nothing that's, um, oh gosh, what's the word? There's nothing guaranteed. You know what I mean? There's nothing that's right in front of you that says, okay, here I am. I'm the thing. This is what it is. Yeah. I'm not getting the sign. Well, it looks like the, the signs and also the way you're perceiving the, what's coming in is coming to you in a different way now. Right. And that looks to me like, I just keep seeing this picture of you also trying to destroy all the things that you take on that don't feed you. Right. You know, that don't give to you in a way that you are now ready to be given. To or to receive. Right. And so it looks to me like it's not like the universe is doing it so much as you're doing it because you haven't given clear direction yet. Got it. I mean, and you know, it's that creativity and also the writing and all the stuff you know how to do that you love to do that creates something new. Okay. So I see that, you know, it's, it's tough. The time you're in is tough, but there is again, kind of like I was reading for the last person, this big re-identification. With who you are and how you see yourself. Got it. A great big change, you know, and this is you, you taking the reins of that change rather than feeling like you're being ridden all over the place with no control. Right. Well, as I was going to say, I think I, I, you know, like I'm aware of the things that have been cut away, but I didn't really think about it being as, um, that, you know, part of what I've been cutting away is how I see myself. Yeah. And what makes, you know, I think, kind of back to your theme, it's like some parts of my life or myself haven't made any sense to me. Yeah, exactly. Or even maybe what I feel like, um, I'm being called to do doesn't exactly make sense. And so it feels very scary. Yeah. You've been trying to control it by, you know, controlling what was or maintaining when what doesn't make sense is actually what is coming in. Got it. Yeah. Beautiful. It's a place to be working. It's consciousness. Awesome. Yay. Excellent. Well, thank you. Thank you. Thanks for listening and for calling in, Austin. I will keep listening. Thanks. Bye-bye. Have a good night. Bye. And hey, everybody, if you've just joined me or if you've, whether you've been here all night, this is Chris Cahill and Psychic Every Day at skidrowstudios.com, real radio on the internet. And this show is coming to you live. This is a show about not making sense. So which I do love as a theme. And I'll be giving readings. So if you're interested in calling in and getting a reading, there's still time in the show tonight. The number is 800-893-9562. So we've been talking about destroying and letting go and cleaning out old things. That kind of don't make sense to you as a being or that just isn't working anymore for you or, you know, just for your self-image too. And the destruction, of how things have been, how you've had things set up. And here's the other part of not making sense. When you let go of something that looks really good to other people, it just looked like from the outside, this was perfect, or it looked beautiful. It was great. It was loving. It was whatever. It was successful. When you let go of that, you may also be labeled as not making sense. And of course, it can be worse if you are unclear about why you let go of it, or if you feel like it somehow let go of you and it doesn't make sense. The same thing happens when you don't embrace everybody else's habits or outlook or ways of seeing the world. So you might look at somebody else and how they're doing something and it doesn't make sense to you. It's just not your way. You know, if you're different or they're different from each other, that person and you don't see eye to eye, then you're not going to make sense. And that's what I'm saying. really going to make sense to each other. And again, that's not a problem. It doesn't have to be a bad thing. If you can let somebody else be exactly where they're at, even if it makes no sense to you, you're going to save yourself a lot of heartache and a lot of pain, you know, waiting around for that person to suddenly get you or for everything to make sense. And then you may be asked to explain yourself so that other people will understand, even if it's none of their business. So again, this is a theme that I've gone into a few times in these shows. If you stand out like a sore thumb from the rest of the group you're from, you know, the group you came from or the neighborhood you grew up in, maybe the school you went to, or perhaps your career, your job, if you're just different or you don't really match or fit in, other people might get a little frightened. You might be a little scary for some because what you're doing might go against how they see how things should be done. So again, there's that should, a little bit of judgment. And if somebody else is firmly entrenched in their own way of seeing things, their own beliefs or their own lifestyle or their own, you know, what they know is true, quote unquote, then you come along and you don't live like that. You really do sort of light up their way of looking. We're having that happening all over today. This is called evolution, spiritual evolution. And as more and more people are stepping up for different levels of freedom or of changing how the old, you know, the old status quo was working or not working depending on which perspective you have, then things are changing. And for some people, there's a lot of freedom or they're creating it or they have a new picture of it. And other people might be in fear that, oh no, we can't let go of our old way of living. And so they kind of jump on that. And I think that's a really important thing. And I think that's a dig in a little and, you know, dig the trenches and resist and try to keep things the way they were. But we're evolving anyway, just letting you know that. So somebody else might just need to invalidate how you see things or how you're trying to create because it steps away from those old pictures and rules that made sense to everybody. You could, you know, be called ungrateful or you're trying to destroy the very fabric of society, you bad person. But, you know, what if everyone's dancing the same dance all the time and you just get tired of that dance and you try to dance your own? And then you might get told you're making everybody else look bad because you're stepping away from the line where everyone's dancing together. And that doesn't necessarily have to make sense. It's just simply you're doing it your own way. This is you finding yourself and finding your space. This is as much about other people's wishes for you or their expectations of you as it is about fear. Because when you change and you do something different, all that fear comes up, doesn't it? You might have some of it and other people might be a little frightened because all of a sudden you don't really, you know, you're kind of flaunting the rules or the way things were and it doesn't make sense. So here's a few more things that don't make sense. Energy. Your awareness of energy or spirit might make perfect sense to you. How you perceive your own energy or your awareness of other people's energy or how you sense things or know things, you know, your psychic abilities, those are energy. How you perceive energy, how sensitive you might be to some kind of thing that's happening and how you look at that, that might make perfect sense to you. And then you might have some of it and other people might make perfect sense to you, but don't go around expecting it's going to make the same kind of sense to somebody else. If you're trying to prove it to someone else, it's definitely, you'll get a little stuck because it just might not make sense. Emotions are similar. So I've said this a number of times to people who might've been, you know, might've said something to me like, okay, well prove your psychic, you know, prove that you have that. I'm like, well, no, actually I don't need to, you know, and then I'll say, okay, well, what are you feeling right now? What are your emotions right now in this moment? Okay. Prove that to me and watch them try because they can't. And it's personal. They can explain them or describe them or tell me them, but they're not going to prove anything to me because I'm not feeling those same emotions. And I can accept what they're saying, but it's not up to them to have to prove it to me. Just like it's not up to me or to anyone else to prove what something looks like or how it is. I mean, when you, when you see something for yourself or you have your own awareness of energy, you'll know it'll feel right. If you learn to validate your own intuition, for example, one of those things that doesn't necessarily make sense, but it's very real and you learn how to have it and really develop it for yourself and listen to it. It will make sense to you. And you might also be smart enough to realize, oh, I don't need to go and explain it away. I have a show coming up on intuition in a week or so. And I talk about that a lot. So one way to kind of destroy some of the things you do have, your feelings, your own abilities, your awarenesses, is to try to make sense of them for other people, to explain them. And remember, someone somewhere decided on the rules of what makes sense. So when we say something makes sense or doesn't make sense, it's kind of really according to what. Makes sense according to who. And those are rules. So when you can't live a happy life by those rules, you no longer make sense to those who can. And that doesn't mean that anybody's wrong. I wouldn't try to make them wrong or you wrong. A little bit of info about tonight's show. This is Chris Cahill. You're listening to Psychic Every Day on skidrowstudios.com. This is a live show. And I will be giving more readings tonight. I'm offering them if you'd like to get one. You can call 800-893-9562. And this is a show about making sense, not making sense, following the rules, whatever. Now, other people's version of a happy life might make no sense to you either. This isn't a problem. You're just not in agreement about what that means. It's very simple. You often see this in the struggles between generations. You know, when there's the so-called generation gap and the old people say, oh, these young people these days and the young people are like, oh, those old people are so old. And what you're seeing is a whole new order coming in and an old one kind of, you know, fading away or transforming or changing. This doesn't mean that all young people are in line with the new thing coming in or that all old people are just stuck in that. Everybody has the opportunity to transform and change. It's a choice and it's a spiritual choice. But there's another more serious place that this shows up. The whole thing about making sense or having a happy life or what makes sense to how we live. And this shows up. And how we choose to live collectively on this planet. Because whether people see it that way or not, we are living collectively. This is a small planet. It's big, but it's small. So does it really make sense to destroy our natural resources? Does it make sense to poison our water and our air? Does it make sense to feed ourselves with really bad food? You know, empty calories that hurt our bodies. I don't want to be in judgment about that. I like Twizzlers too, but really, it's not good for breakfast. I don't know. That's just my perspective. Does it make sense to reward those who make huge profits doing all of this? Who, you know, kind of helping to create some of this destruction? We're all in agreement with that if we let that happen. So we're talking now. This is one of the big things we're also working on now in our evolution. What makes sense about how we live together on this planet? And that continues, and maybe it started there, within each of us on a much smaller scale. So does it make sense to you to live the way you've been living? When you find you have a little bit of a war going on inside of you, it could just mean that what you're doing is changing what really does make sense in terms of how you live. So if you've been following the rules or living up to things that make sense to you, or living up to things that make sense to you, or living up to things that make sense to you, you know, kind of how you might learn in school, well, this is how you create success as you follow this path and do this and yada, yada, yada. And that can be helpful information, get some good information, but it can also be going against your grain to try to live your life according to what those rules are. And if it's not working and you keep finding that you're failing or you're not happy, then perhaps it doesn't make sense to do that. Perhaps the thing is, the only thing that makes sense is to start to look and see what do you need to do? You know, what is your own truth? What really works for you? That might be the place to start to look. It's really hard to live and let live, and it's really difficult to not take it personally when other people judge you. So if you're working on the pictures of what makes sense or doesn't, and how should you live, you're kind of going into that judgment again, that place of being judged or maybe judging yourself. And that might be part of the problem. You know, if you're finding that you're judging yourself, really hard on yourself because what you want doesn't make sense or how you feel like you should do something isn't making sense, it might be that you're trying to explain yourself away. If the person in judgment of you is you, that's a tough one. But that would be the first thing to get over, by the way. Now, this is Chris Cahill in Psychic Every Day. We've got about another nine minutes or so in tonight's show. And I am, again, continuing to talk to you about healing yourself with letting go of having to make sense, because that's really what it comes down to. If you decide that you're going to be a better person, you're going to just allow yourself to be in your own truth. And this is not a simple thing to do, but sometimes it is. It's just simply that easy to say, okay, that's it. From now on, whether or not I make sense to anybody else, I'm going to make sense to me. And making sense to yourself might be actually the nice goal. And in order to make sense to yourself, perhaps it's really about doing what pleases you, what feels right, what is your own truth, what you feel right. What do you feel like moving toward? Perhaps what you've been avoiding or putting blocks in your way, making it more difficult for you to actually go and have this thing. So that would require a lot of self-love and a lot of self-forgiveness and a lot of allowing yourself to, you know, go through times where you might feel like you're stumbling and you have no idea where to put your foot down, or what you're going to be doing next. But you just know that you've got to find it. You're looking for it. Now, you will always hear me say this. Some of the ways that I see as being helpful to find your way, well, you know, healing yourself, starting to work on that. What does that mean to you? Healing yourself. And there's lots of techniques and tools and ways you can go about healing yourself. You know, meditation. Grounded meditation. That's a beautiful way. It makes a very big difference. When you start to have some tools you can use to help you have that connection to the earth, feel like you're safe, grounding will help you with that. And that's really very useful. It helps you let go of energy too. It helps you feel real as well. It makes your body feel real. So that's one thing I always recommend. At least get the information. And you can find a lot of that on my website. I also have some meditations. There's a short one called Grounding Yourself that you can download for free and use and listen to. I will take one more caller tonight. And it looks like I do have one here. Hi there. Who's here? What's your name? Hi. It's Lauren again. I'm lucky enough to get you twice. Why, hi, Lauren. Are you calling? That's what I thought. Well, nice to hear your voice again. How are you doing? I'm doing very well. How are you? I'm good. Thanks for listening and for calling. And I should just tell you, we're getting close to the end of the show, so I only have a few minutes to give you a reading. Tell me what you'd like me to look at. You know what? I want just whatever you get. Beautiful. I don't want to ask questions. All right, good. Well, because I'm going to give you a reading along the lines of what I've been doing tonight. And the picture I'm seeing as I get started, it's actually something that came up right away when you called, which is a picture of you putting away some old, the picture is you're in your room, you know, in your home, and you're starting to put away some things. You're folding away or packing away. But I see you doing it very gently. It's kind of like you're putting away some precious things, some objects, into wrapping them in some really nice tissue and kind of very, you know, lovingly sort of folding these things up. But you're realizing I'm done with these. I'm done with these objects. But they're not just objects. They're energy. And I see you're done with a preciousness. There's something about this preciousness. And it looks like it has to do with finding your old self-image to be precious, if that makes sense. I mean, and by precious, what I mean is that it, that it looks like the old self-image, the one you're stepping away from, the one that a lot of other people have a lot of energy invested in. And it's a little bit of a perfect picture, kind of like you're supposed to be perfect, which is not what you're trying to do. You're trying to be happy, not perfect. And so it looks like what you're doing is you're putting away an old energy where you used to think in order to be happy, you had to be perfect. But it wasn't even that you consciously thought that. It looks like this is energy that was in your space. And it looks like, I keep seeing your mother. It just looks like this energy of mother. In order to be happy, you have to have done this or be this way. And it looks like it's her thing in her space, but it's not even her own truth. And so what I see is you're saying, oh, you know what, this is pretty. It just, it's kind of like a really pretty Christmas ornament that you get, you know, you have to pack it away at the end of December, or it's just too much. And I see it's kind of like that, this old ornament that's been in your space, encouraging you to somehow, I don't know, be like it or keep it around. And you're done with it because also it's very fragile. You know, it's something that you're always afraid you're gonna break. And I see that it's been really limiting because the other picture is you've had to carry this around and you're not supposed to do things that might damage or break the ornament. So it's kind of like having a piece of really delicately blown glass in your space. And you're supposed to be responsible for keeping it, keeping it together, but yet it's not yours. This is a perfect picture about what you're supposed to do to be happy. And I see that you look at it and go, I just want to take this thing and throw it up in the air and whack it with a tennis racket. I mean, that's actually really funny. You're blowing the picture about having to wrap it up nicely and put it away. This is good. I feel like that about a lot of stuff, like get out of my way. I'm gonna do what I want. Well, that's what it looks like is your true nature that is like that is coming out. And that is, that's part of it. That's what it looks like. That's what it looks like. That's what it looks like. It's part of you. It's a part of you that you like and you embrace, but that might have been seen as being a little less than perfect by others who wanted you to be a different way. And they might've meant no harm by it, but it was, you're becoming more of you. So this old thing that it never made sense to hold onto it for you, but you did and you're getting done with it, which means you're freeing yourself. It looks pretty good to me. I wouldn't worry about a thing. Well, like it's a great illusion. I wouldn't worry about a thing. Say that again. I said, I get such great readings from you. Well, it's fun to read people who are growing and changing and that's who always calls me here. And it's really fun. Cause I look at the energy as what's transforming. What is she changing? You're getting ready to destroy the perfectness. Whatever that has meant to you, not a bad thing. No, I totally get what you're saying. And this is such a, I do not even know what's going on. No, it's good. It's just get in and be with you. Like it's more about getting closer to who you really are. And with that, I must say goodnight to you because I have about two minutes and I got to sign off, but thank you so much for listening again. Well, thank you so much. Thank you, Loni. Thank you always, every time. Hope I get to talk to you again sometime. Have a good night. Bye. You too, bye.
